    Kitchen cabinet wall

    After being a repeat customer for over 20 years with both the Fairfield and Vacaville locations, I am disappointed at the customer service and delivery areas and will never do business with Pearson's again. I bought a washer/dryer and stainless-steel refrigerator on July 11th so this was no small purchase. The delivery guys did not communicate with each other and while one of them was trying to get the washer in, he scratched the handles on the refrigerator (as shown in pic). Along with that, the refrigerator was carelessly jammed into the space causing damage to my new cabinet (as shown in pic). The doors of the refrigerator were also installed incorrectly so the doors are uneven (as shown in pic). It has now been almost 3 months and Pearson's has not made this right. The salesperson, Gus, states that it's not his department and the responsibility lies with the delivery department. Vince Lauer, delivery manager, does not respond to my messages and I've had to call many times to follow up. Vince has sent someone out to take pictures even though I've sent him several. He makes excuses for not communicating. Vince states he's going to find a cabinet vendor and call me back, but to this date he has done nothing but push this aside and hopes I'll just go away. The Pearson's we knew as a family business is now an untrustworthy local company. Do better!

    Deceptive online advertising! Their website advertised a range hood "In Stock -- Fairfield." They had no such item at the store.

    I had my doubts going to Pearson's because of past experiences but Joseph came through for me many times. He's the bomb.

    In June 2025 we searched for an oven repair project on Yelp. The oven was overheating and the door…read morewould lock as a result. Food inside would burn. Error codes appeared and were provided to Peter who responded timely. Over time Grant and Peter both came to our home and attempted to repair the oven. Both were cordial, on time, and left the place clean but neither seemed to have the knowledge or capacity to complete the job. First visit: Grant spent a considerable amount of time researching the error codes and how to proceed using his electronic device (phone or tablet). He replaced a small part and the oven worked a few times then the problem reoccurred. We requested a more experienced tech come out and the owner (I believe) Peter came out. During that second visit Peter suggested rebuilding the motherboard. After months of waiting we received a text that the motherboard had come in. Peter reinstalled the motherboard on the third visit. During our Thanksgiving meal preparation on Thanksgiving Day the problem reoccurred. We called and sent a text in desperation - advising our ham was in the oven. We didn't hear back. We received a text message on 12/1/25, stating they were closed for the holidays, and asking if we were able to get our oven fixed? During the fourth visit Peter didn't know what else to do, and offered to install a new oven or refund the amount of the service call. He sent a quote for over $2100 for a new (low end) Whirlpool wall oven (our current oven is a slide in) which included installation and haul away of the existing oven. I had done some research and determined that that price was greatly inflated so on 12/12/25 we accepted the offer for a refund for the service call of $477. We finally received the refund via Zelle on 1/14/26, after numerous follow up attempts in writing and by phone. Based on this experience it doesn't appear their skill levels go beyond maybe simple repairs or installations. Both Grant and Peter admitted that a lot of the work they do is for home warranty companies. The integrity however is a bit bothersome - the delayed refund, lack of communication pertaining to its status, a lie from the office staff stating an email was sent on 1/5/26 asking if we had Zelle, accepting a job they weren't equipped to complete, and not having on-call response for emergencies. Sorry I can't recommend at this time.

I contacted the…read moremanufacturer and their corporate service division sold us an extended warranty and recommended an appliance service company based in Southern California. That company was not able to repair the washer. One of our neighbors recommended Appliance Worx and I'm so glad they did. Their techs were able to diagnose the problem and repair the washer. While they were here they were also able to clean a blocked dryer vent for us. They were prompt, friendly and efficient and I recommend them highly based on our experience with them.

I creamed butter, sugar, and cream cheese and it actually picked up all ingredients and did it perfectly! Absolutely thrilled with the work. Thrilled to keep it going without ending up in the landfill. I have a "new" mixer for many times less than the cost of an actual new one and anticipate many more years of use. Unlike the Aaron's in Vallejo (who had no problem giving me the name of their Manager and District Manager, along with phone numbers for them), the Fairfield store is a franchise, NOT part of the larger Aaron's chain. So if they rip you off, you will have NO recourse, and will not even be able to speak to the manager of the store. I highly recommend making the drive the Vallejo. They are helpful and professional, while the Fairfield store is just shady. You've been warned...
