    Water Leaking at splitter hose

    I purchased the GE combo 2-1. I kept my dryer as a backup after reading the feedbacks given for this new type washer/dryer. Customer service rep Daniel deserves a thumbs up however, The install team now charges for stairways, I purchased a GE washer/dryer back in 2015 and the washers performance dwindled and ended up in need of control board. The new combo 2-1 is nice but the installers had to return twice for leaks causing damage inside the wall and water spots to kitchen ceiling. Their second visit was to retightened the valves connection and upon pressuring the connections, it made it worse after retightening. He stated that a Plummer is needed to replace new valves. I had no prior leaks since living here 2015 prior to purchasing new combo 2-1 Jovani's plumbing service came out and found a splitter line didn't have a black washer on connector hose causing leak when pressurized. New valve replacement wasn't needed.

    Deceptive online advertising! Their website advertised a range hood "In Stock -- Fairfield." They had no such item at the store.

I mentioned that my husband's birthday was coming up and wondered if it would be ready by then, but I could see there was plenty of work ahead of mine. I was thrilled to get a call the day before his birthday to hear it was ready for pickup! With new gears, lubrication, lift adjustment and paint touch up it was gorgeous! Using it was delayed by some life events, but yesterday the promised cake was created and I'm here to tell you that mixer never sounded or worked better when it was brand new! I creamed butter, sugar, and cream cheese and it actually picked up all ingredients and did it perfectly! Absolutely thrilled with the work. Thrilled to keep it going without ending up in the landfill. I have a "new" mixer for many times less than the cost of an actual new one and anticipate many more years of use. Now I'm looking around at what else might need repair... But until I get back, you should help him stay busy. Highly recommend Mr. Fixit!

My bank didn't want to help me with the unauthorized charge. I've been dealing with this since December. Finally I contacted the franchise owner Dan that I wasn't set up for auto pay, and that someone in the store somehow saved my debit card number and sent thru a double payment that overdrew my bank account by 130 bucks, after what happened in his store without his knowledge Dan immediately apologized and gave me a refund on the spot. So my good review is really about Dan and not about the Big guy with the glasses who had trouble understanding what I was complaining about. Which was the unauthorized charge and not the contract I had. The contract was broken when they sent the unauthorized charge. The Big guy had trouble understanding that.... Dan understood right away. Dan is great, most of the employees there are great. I'll keep my thoughts to myself about the big guy with the funny glasses....lol

Even after I called corporate and left a message there for the franchise owner to call me back (with assurances that he would do so within 72 hours at the latest), I NEVER heard from him. Unlike the Aaron's in Vallejo (who had no problem giving me the name of their Manager and District Manager, along with phone numbers for them), the Fairfield store is a franchise, NOT part of the larger Aaron's chain. So if they rip you off, you will have NO recourse, and will not even be able to speak to the manager of the store. I highly recommend making the drive the Vallejo. They are helpful and professional, while the Fairfield store is just shady. You've been warned...
