Went well, great customer service. I recommend updating website to explain the diagnosis and the hourly. Kinda misleading that the $125 will be subtracted - but rather e planning the diagnosis fee is part of the fee regardless and your hourly rate is lower than most competitors read more

I can't even give this place '1 star. The guy is extremely rude! He even did not put cover his shoes when he entered my house. He refused it. He goes to the bathroom with the shoes (eww!!!) He may be racist towards non-white women. The worst experience I have ever received. They use the device that detects an error code. Well, that device is not even working properly, and the incorrect error code caused the delay in service and of course my fridge is still not working!!!!' They call themselves 'Dependable'... it is a lie and lack of communication and unprofessional attitude are not acceptable! I made a formal complaint to GE. read more

Excellent service. I called, left a message, got a call back quickly, explained my need ( oven repair) and an appointment was scheduled. Bill & Brian showed up as scheduled, assessed the situation, told me a new part had to be ordered and they would let me know when they had the part and would return to install it. True to their word they let me know the part was ordered and would contact me for new appointment...which they did a week later. They showed up as scheduled, fixed my oven, and oven works fine. Brian was great at communicating with me. I enthusiastically recommend Vacaville Appliance. read more

First I'll start with they have been to our home before to repair a appliance under warranty with no real issues at all only weeks prior they found they needed a specific part and set a return, on the return... They were here for less than 20 minutes before they left with almost no warning giving a excuse and telling us a reason with rather serious implications of water leakage in the process refused to finish the repair as well. Upon following up to get the issues addressed thru my property management team found out what was actually said was absolutely false, they were blatantly disrespectful towards our home and family and, just plain rude. If the disrespect and non repairing wasn't enough the fact they lied directly to our faces about things alone shows the "quality" of their work. I will never use this company again and I will be making sure my contacts don't as well. Ive lived in the Fairfield and Vacaville area all my life have never has this much disgust for one company. No one has the right to be mean like this especially in a professional regard. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Vacaville Appliance Repair Services & Parts. Bill & his grandson know their stuff. Not only are they skilled & efficient, their customer service is EXCELLENT! They always responded quickly & went above & beyond to accommodate my tight schedule to come repair my freezer. I always prefer to support small local businesses & Vacaville Appliance epitomizes why...excellent quality, wonderful customer service, prompt communication & service, friendly & caring staff, pride in their work, and knowledge! Their business card says they are "Fast, Honest, & Dependable" & I can attest to the truth of that! If I need any future appliance repairs, I will not hesitate to call them. read more

Recently had my (horribly screeching) dryer repaired by Vacaville Appliance. The owner Bill and his Grandson promptly arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Upon receipt of the parts, Lisa promptly scheduled a follow up repair appointment. On the big day, Bill and his Grandson arrived. They were pleasantly cheerful and extremely competent as they proceeded to dismantle my (horribly screeching) dryer. It was like watching a well orchestrated symphony as Bill and his Grandson skillfully remove and replace the worn out parts. In a matter of moments, the dryer was purring like a kitten! As a homeowner we all are looking for good value for services provided by local small businesses. I could not be more honored to recognize the amazing service Bill Flores of Vacaville Appliance provides to our community! 5 STARS to Vacaville Appliance! Respectfully Mike F. read more

I almost passed up this great appliance service company because of the bad reviews on Yelp. However I have a Samsung refrigerator that is hard to find service companies willing to service this brand so I took a chance on Vacaville Appliance. So glad I did! Bill and his assistant were professional and knowledgeable. Within couple weeks, my fridge was fixed, no more leaks and at a reasonable price. P.S. The delay was due to me getting sick and in fact Bill had the parts in a few days and was ready to come back out to get it done, but I was sick and didn't want to chance exposing them to my germs. read more

I contacted GE regarding my newly purchased Cafe refrigerator that was spew ice everywhere and overflowing my cup with water when using the autofill feature. (I have to also give GE their kudos for getting my complaint out to this vendor so quickly). Anyhow, a woman from Vacaville Appliance (VA) called me 30 mins after I spoke with GE and scheduled a visit 2 days out. She advised that she would call the day before and provide me with a timeframe of their arrival (which she did). Bill and his grandson Brian were great! They arrived early but within the timeframe, and presented with the biggest smiles. I laughed the entire time, but I also learned a lot about my refrigerator from Bill. I complained to Pearson Appliances within days of delivery that my doors were not aligned. The man they sent out was terrible and accused me of doing something to the fridge (that by the way was still empty). Anyhow, Brian of VA adjusted my doors to perfection and Bill ran a diagnostic test on my fridge. In the end, the issue seemed to be the sensors and lack of knowledge on my end, but one of the shelves inside did happen to be defected, so Bill placed a replacement order without hassle. He agreed right away that something was "off". Anyhow, great family owned business. I hope to not need their services again, but if I do... no doubt, I know I'll be in great hands! read more

Guy was RUDE and disrespectful! He came to the house at 7am as it was the first slot of the day. When I asked for clarification on what would've caused the control panel on my microwave to have an error code he says "why don't you go back to the garage to workout and let me handle the microwave' . when I argued back that I was a homeowner that purchased a microwave and I had a right to know what was going on he basically said 'well that's what that error code means'. he knew nothing more than Google already had told me. All that they did at this 7 AM appointment was right down the serial number. What a waste of his time and my time.! he then had the audacity to question why I bought a Samsung refrigerator, and made a comment that it was such a poor choice. When I called the shop to complain about him, he argued back that he has a wife and daughters, and in no way was he sexist towards me. He then hung up on me. read more

Excellent service from beginning to end. Lisa was great. I sent her a picture showing the issue with my dishwasher. They recognized what it was. The part was ordered and I was called when it came in. As a side, they even brought in my newspaper I would highly recommend this company. Great customer service! read more

I have been dealing with an appliance issue for over a month. The manufacturer kept sending out repair people who didn't know what they were talking about. Spent hundreds of dollars on electricians. Finally demanded a new company and they sent Vacaville Appliance. This dream team walked in, unscrewed the back of the oven and in seconds found the problem!!! On another note, wouldn't recommend Frigidaire as a product!!! Their repair process is a nightmare and this oven is only 3 months old!!! read more

Subcontracted to perform repairs. Owner and assistant got to home. Failed to introduce self or company. First information presented were that neither he nor his assistant were going to remove their shoes. They were then offered shoe covers which he refused stating they were a safety Hazzard. The gentleman looked at the range on the top, continued to complain about not wearing covers and removing shoes, made rude and angry comments, picked up his tools and departed. Lowe's were contacted and we were told to call the company. Doing so, we found out the disgusting personal we had to deal with happens to be the owner. I later realize I had a similar experience with the same company in the past when subcontracted by Sears Home Repairs. read more

Hmm how do I give zero stars here? I wish I had read the reviews before allowing Vacaville Appliance guys into my home. I did not pick them (GE assigned them for my dishwasher repair). VISIT#1: Two men show up, one of them visibly unhappy and grumbly about having to wear a mask at our polite request. He then proceeds to rush through the job, barely answering our questions with behavior bordering on rude. Ok so I figured I'll deal with this man's rudeness so long as he did a good job. Plus I was desperate to have a functioning dishwasher. Turned out they had to order new parts so had to come back a couple of weeks later to finish the job. VISIT#2: Same two men show up and this time they're RUSHING around because presumably they have more important things to do none of which include fixing my dishwasher or answering our earnest questions. It would have been comical to watch if I wasn't so desperate to have my dishwasher fixed. So they said they fixed it and literally hightailed out of my house never to be heard from again. No, they would not wait to verify that the dishwasher was draining. They bamboozled us into signing the repair form because we are admittedly idiots and gave into the pressure. The dishwasher still does not drain and undoubtedly Vacaville Appliances does not care. I wonder why they took on a project they had no intention to complete and wasted 2 weeks of my time. I called GE customer service and asked them to send me anyone other than Vacaville Appliance for VISIT#3. In summary Vacaville Appliance is laughably incompetent and there are plenty of other skilled local small businesses I'd give my hard earned money to. UPDATE: These men did not use any floor protection and left gouges on my hardwood floor too. Sigh. read more

This place sucks!! Don't waste your time or money- Bill came in, ran a code- assumed it was something - said he would order a part left me hanging a week. Came back installed the part in less then 5 minutes, I asked him to stay and make sure it was working, he said it was running and left. 10 minutes after he left, I realized the washer was not going into the next cycle. I immediately called the office to have them come back, and was told they were unable to because they were out of the area. Later that afternoon, I received a phone call saying they ordered another part and they would call when it came in, which was last Thursday, I said great can you come and install it, it had been two weeks now without my washer; I was told No because they were taking an early Labor Day vacation and would be here first thing Tuesday morning. Bill showed up right on time 7:30am looked at the washer and said oh, I see the problem "I didn't connect the hose." So, he connects the hose back; and, is walking out of the house at 7:40am- I asked again to stay and make sure it runs properly, he again tells me it's running and leaves. I went and checked and the washer is stuck on the soak cycle and won't go any further. I called the office again immediately to have him come back- And, they tell me they can't do anything else. He didn't even attempt to replace the part he made me wait a week for. i would describe his work as lazy and unqualified. Looking at a code reader and not trying to find the root problem by knowing your supposed craft is unacceptable. Tracey G read more

Would not recommend! Call them to get me Maytag washing machine repaired for not draining. Ordered a part and came over for the repair! The guy told me to drain the washing machine that would not drain! After thinking about it I told him to do it himself, reminded him he was the repair man and that is why I called him! At that point he needed to leave! Never thought a customer had to do the prep work for a repairman! Instead of making excuses for the lack of performance. Needed warranty repair on my brand new KitchenAid fridge. I was "assigned" Vacaville Appliance, so I feared for the worst. An out of town company? Only in Napa two days a week? This is going to be a disaster... However, I was wrong. Bill and Mike showed up and diagnosed the problem in under 5 minutes (I am NOT joking). Once the part came in they had the part replaced & the fridge fixed in under an hour. Oh, and they were super punctual and really friendly as well. I hope that none of my other new appliances need service...but if they do, I hope Bill and Mike from Vacaville Appliance show up again to help me out. read more

This place is horrible. They were dispatched by GM to fix our microwave which was under warranty. The microwave was smoking and making a grinding sound. An older man showed up( Bill I believe). He turned on the microwave for a few seconds and said that the reason for the smoke was a dirty filter. He told my wife to clean it and then left without even checking if this fixed the problem. She cleaned it thoroughly and turned it on.. it smelled like smoke(electrical fire smoke) and still made a loud grinding sound. I can't believe how irresponsible they would be as this is very dangerous. We called again and they rescheduled for a couple weeks later. Bill and another man came. They briefly looked at the microwave and said they needed to order a part to see if it would fix the problem, 2 more weeks later they came with the new part.. installed it and said it was fixed. They left and when we went to turn on the microwave IT STILL MADE THE NOISE AND STARTED SMOKING IMMEDIATELY. We called GM and requested a technician from the company come out. They came and found the problem immediately . Stay away from Vacaville appliance! The techicians are inept and do not care whatsoever about the safety of their customers. After reading all of these other reviews, I can't believe they are still I'm business. read more

I had a problem with my dishwasher. I called & scheduled the very next appointment. It was a team of 2 gentleman that came 2 my home on the day of the appointment, ahead of schedule BTW, which 2 me was a very good thing. Initially, I thought it was odd that a team of 2 would show up, but they assured me it was normal 2 them that they were a team of 2. With all the "casing" going on in the Bay Area, it's always a plus to be cognizant & weary of this research that criminals do. In the past when I've had similar issues with kitchen appliances, it was only 1 person who showed up 2 repair, so I was very weary of them coming into my home, being a SAHM with my young toddler. Even tho, I can hold my own, I was rest assured that they worked together all the time & it was normal 4 them. They quickly assessed the dishwasher, ordered the part ASAP & came back to install it the day after the part arrived. I haven't had any problems since they fixed it. Great service! Thank you. read more

Vacaville Appliance - Thanks 4 the magnet! - Appliances & Repair Near Me

I will give one star because there is not other option.. but i will rate them -5*. I had a Samsung Fridge that bottom ice maker wasn't working. An old big guy came with his helper, started taking note for what was going on with my fridge. He told me he "will order" the parts, came next week, and "change" the part... the ice maker didn't work. I called them again, by that time top ice maker wasn't working, they came back to "change" the part, plus the panel on the back of the fridge. Explained to the guy about the top ice maker, and he told me that he wont fix anything if the company wont pay for their labor. I told him, that that is not my problem, but i need it to be fix.. they never came back. But before i forget, the first time he came, i asked him to wear a mask, and he told bc he was vaccinated it wasn't necessary to wear a mask... i told him, im vaccinated too, but my elderly parents live with me, and they use whatever they had but not a real mask. I called lowes warranty and told them what happened with this guy. Lowes sent me another company, and this new company (i wont mention the name) came checked it out, came next week with the part and what to find out?, that vacaville appliance replaced my ice maker machine with an old part!. . The guy of this new company, told me that it wasn't the first time that he found that. Well, the bottom ice maker still wasn't working, (i kept all the invoices from vacaville appliance) and showed to the guy. Call them again and let them know that the bottom ice maker still wasn't working, and they told me they will Order the panel, that is on the back of the fridge, what did this new guy find out!?.. that the panel was not the correct for my fridge! The serial number wasn't the correct for that fridge. What the hell!!!.. i was without ice for 3 months, and this people Didnt care about the clients. So they use old parts and replace them, and bc we don't know, they use whatever they want. I called lowes warranty ant told them what these scumbags did to me, and that lowes shouldn't give them any job. I was so mad!. Now i see why their reviews are so bad. read more

Unfortunately, did not have a good experience with this company. Lowes warranty had them come to fix my washer because there was a leak. Had an attitude with me because I had requested for them to wear a mask. Didn't find the leak the first time even though I had pointed out a place that looked like there was a leak, but disregarded me and said no that's nothing. Had them come back again because it was still leaking. For the second visit they came for not even 10mins and said they didn't find anything. Lowes had another company come out and after I explained my issue to the new tech, he immediately knew what it could be and found that the pump wasn't working well and said the place I pointed out was were the leak was because the washer couldn't drain fast enough. ‍ I had to take 3 days off work when they issue could've been identified on the first day. Now I have to take another day off for the new company to come and install the new part. 4 days instead of the two it could've been. Terrible. read more

It is for good reason this guy has 1 star! Today Bill comes out to my house to fix a MEM sensor in my washer. I have one of those fancy washers that tells you what the issues is. Last week when I called and scheduled the appointment I told the lady this is what is needs to be replaced. Bill comes into my home for 2 min, turns on the washer and sees the MEM sensor error message on the screen, he never even takes the back or top off to confirm this, then he proceeds to tell me the MEM sensor needs to be replaced and it will be 2 days before they get the sensor. Wait you knew a week ago that I needed the MEM sensor. Here is the best part, he wanted to charge me a $85 service diagnostic fee for coming out, then he's going to charge me again to come back out charging me $150 to replace a sensor that takes 5 min to replace. Steer clear of this company! read more

Customer service skills suck.very unreliable service good luck trying to actually reach someone by telephone ohhh the list can go on and on

Kitchenaid assigned this company to repair our freezer that stopped working two months ago. They diagnosed our freezer in literally 2 seconds and said it was a computer issue! Then they demanded $85 dollars! It took several weeks to get to this point as they live 20-30 miles from me and they don't come to my town only certain days and not in the afternoon. Then, I had to wait for the part and wait again and reschedule my time to accommodate them. They fixed the absolute UNNECESSARY element of the freezer as it did not work the next day! Labor fee: $96. I had to call Kitchenaid again to figure out the next step. They scheduled them almost a MONTH later but repair company tried to push it out so they can be out from warranty time! (1 month for labor). Came back. Claimed that freezer must have broken down during in that month! They did NOT know what to do but had to call several tech guys who GUESSED that it could be a compressor issue. When I called them out about the wrong diagnosis they went superior, rude and quickly left! The original problem is a compressor issue! BUT this repair company does NOT have anybody in their team who can fix compressor,so they went ahead and fixed an unrelated problem to collect money!! Stay away from them. They would cheat the money out of your pocket! They claim they are a family business in Vacaville but they are fraud! read more

GE sent this company out for warranty under Costco. I also have an additional warranty with Square Trade. So I have lots of coverage to get my appliance fixed no need to make up stories or lie. I don't need someone that has never met me before walk in my house, without shoe covers, and start projecting onto me his bad attitude. Notice to consumers, do yourself a favor, if you have a hometown Facebook page, post a question about who to choose for appliance repair unless you are stuck with who gets dispatched from the manufacturer. Cannot imagine, other than narcissism, what makes a business person think this is appropriate behavior with customers. read more

Lisa and her crew are very professional they responded to our needs immediately. Highly recommend their services!

The technician showed up to fix a month old Frigidaire appliance that had a bad connection between a burner and the stove that had caused a fire. He only berated my tenant, saying she had cooked for too long. He did not diagnose the problem or fixed it, berated me for having bad tenants, told me he was going to fix it, but never again, and left without doing any work. Hard to believe Vacaville appliance is still in business, probably the business of mistreating customers, and ripping off Frigidaire. I tried to call the technician again, and the office, but nobody return my calls. read more

Disappointed. Having an issue with my refrigerator and because I prefer to give my business locally I called here versus Sears. I chose Vacaville Appliance over other local repair options due to their Yelp reviews. Called first thing this morning hoping to get an appointment tomorrow. I was told they didn't have anything available until next Wednesday. I couldn't do Wednesday so was offered next Thursday or Friday. I said Friday afternoon would work but was really hoping for tomorrow. Lisa said she was calling appointments for tomorrow and would put me on the wait list if one opened up. She took my name and number. I waited until late afternoon and called back. Lisa sounds surprised I called back and says she didn't get any cancelations. I say fine let's confirm next Friday. Lisa then tells me she doesn't have any openings. I remind her she told me earlier she did have availability and we had discussed. No apology, just says no openings. I ask about Saturday. They don't make appointments for Saturday (the website says they do). Guess they didn't want my business. Called Ken's appliance at 3:30 pm. They are coming out tomorrow. read more
