Returning a Craftsman drill I received as a Christmas gift as I have a duplicate size already. Found a cordless blower, vacuum and 1/4 drill w battery and charger I really like. Proceed to returns and ask to process purchase after return. the original receipt along with a gift receipt was attached. Return is unopened and I told clerk it was a gift. She, w/o asking credits the gift giver's cc. The credit was to apply to new purchase. She can't figure it out, can't find a manager. I left very unhappy and Lowe's lost a $300 sale. We purchased a standard size storm door and paid to have their installer get the exact measurement, waited 2wks to be put on schedule and door ordered. When installer came to install said door,he had measured wrong,they returned 1st door and had to wait 1 months for #2 door to be delivered and installed. Surprise lowes ordered wrong door. This is not the first time having issues with lowes. Save your time and NOT go through lowes especially on Iba rd in Tucson. read more

After 3 other small businesses never got back to us on a tile floor install, we saw that Lowe's was offering an install deal. We got a quote and it was a bit high, but not terrible, and they said they could start in just a couple weeks and be done in 2-3 days. It was a small space. First off, they refused to move the appliances like we paid for. Then they rushed on day 2, so they wouldn't have to come back on day 3. Stayed at the house until almost 8p, after my kids bedtime. Except, they completely forgot they needed to install the baseboards. They left them just sitting in the garage. Lowe's marked the project completed and I had to call the install manager and complain that the job was not done and that they needed to come back and finish. Lowe's did nothing, so I called the install company the next day and told them the job wasn't finished. They said they'd send a field manager out to finish the work. A week later he comes out to install. Gets it done, but the next morning half of the corner pieces are coming off the wall. I call back and tell the install company that the work is failing. They reschedule to come back out the following week. That morning, they call and cancel because their guy is out sick. Reschedule another week out, and I'm still waiting for my 2-3 day project to get finished. Never use Lowe's install services. read more

Purchased $5000 in carpet and installation 12/31/24. Just after purchase was told the carpet was back ordered but would be in soon. ON 01/25/25 our card was charged for the full price and we were told again the carpet was late but would be in soon. Much talk & more talk took place with lowes nation install coordination call center but no action. Finally installed almost 5 months after our first order. The installation went fine after our initial installer quit lowes, or so we were told. The carpet is what we wanted but 5 months of poor service is just too much. Lowes reps always apologize for the delay but no one has even reached out to us after the LONG delay for installation. If you are thinking about using lowes consider it well. read more

James Croy of the Lowe's installation Support Team showed up as scheduled on Thursday May 8th and measured my sliding glass door in order to replace it with the sliding glass door that I wanted and then ordered . I signed the contract he presented on his laptop. I was never sent a copy of the contract. The verbal contract I made with him was that he would have a person come to my house to test for lead on Monday May 12th and that within 2 weeks the door I ordered with him would be installed. James Croy is employed by Ina Road Lowe's. This afternoon, Sunday May 11th I got an email that said that the item I was offered was out of stock. Basically I just wasted my time with this guy. The first thing that came up was a Sharkbite for $7.94. They are typically $12-15. The page also said there wet zero in stock at C Tucson store but 25 in Marana. I went to the store, found the item(s) and went to check out. At the register they rang up as $12.56 ea. I showed them the web price and a manager was summoned. Horrible experience shopping at Lowe's like always. I tried buying a 14' multi position ladder. There were supposedly 6 in stock. Once I get to the store they are no where to be found. So then I ordered it online my order got paused. Then I call customer service and have them call to check inventory at another store and told her to have someone physically check for the ladder because of what I experienced the day before. Customer rep tells me they have it and she does a pick up for the Valencia store and they are pick the order as I'm talking with her. My order got canceled again! By far one of the worst experiences ever! Bought new sinks, vanity, mirrors etc. from Lowe's to upgrade the bathroom. Not only did they get the order wrong many times, but they completely messed up the install!!! I should sue this company for the damage they caused to my bathroom! During the install, they damaged the drain pipes, the walls, the paint, mirror, and drain pipes. They seriously just layered on caulk to hide their mistakes. It looks absolutely horrible! Seriously looks like they hired a bunch of kids armed with glue sticks. To the people out there who are thinking of purchasing from Lowe's or having them install stuff, DON'T DO IT!!! Well this was a good experience for me.. I needed a new garage door opener.. I replaced my two car garage door and the installer said my old one was ready to fail. As in, don t use it unless you have to. So after reading yelp reviews, I moved up from chain drive to belt. I don t need any special electronics. Just two remotes and a wall button. The battery backup up was a nice feature. I m had my installer "will call" it after my order was placed. And getting my veteran discount. ! I could have had Lowe's install is for 50.00 less, But I want to keep all the responsibilities on one person. Already made up 20. In my VA discount. I ll make up the rest on something else. It probably has only been two months since I tried to get flooring and then get it installed. I am still waiting with no install date in sight. Using the Lowe's app for estimating the amount of flooring I would have to order in came to 32 cartons. The estimator said we needed 14 more plus a whole lot of other stuff. My friend, retired general contractor, said that those figures were overstated in his opinion, especially the add ons. He would have saved the existing molding, Lowes replaces it. I started last month when I bought another house and wanted to replace the carpet with "Luxury Vinyl Plank " , LVP. I have bought and paid for the products and am still waiting on "Backer Rods". With hundreds of contractors/ supply houses in the Tucson area, they couldn't get backer rods locally? Now, a long time later, I still wait on Lowes and I just moved into my new house too. Nothing is put where it should be because the floors are not in and I don't want to have to pay Lowes to move my furniture off the carped areas to put in my flooring, assuming they can get it done this year. I wish I had gone to ll flooring or somebody else. I'll look tomorrow to find if I can get a quality floor elsewhere and have it installed quickly. When Lowes says installation dates are typically two weeks after all of the products are in place means Lowes doesn't have enough installers. read more

The staff also measured the Rav 4 I have........ and the grill...and the car...and the grill. lol. After playing a game of Tetris with the two chairs and the grill.... I really enjoyed this experience at Lowes. Everyone in there has a good attitude, even though they are not easily seen at first, they are attentive when they assist you. Earl helped us out at the key making station. My kids were asking a bunch of questions and he took them behind the scenes to see how it all works. They were amazed. We made ourselves visible the whole time. One associate made eye contact and went the other way. We will no longer be shopping at Lowe's on Ina Road in Marana again. It's such a pain that they close the garden center doors so early all the time. The hours on the outside say until 8pm, but today I was there at 4pm on a Thursday and the gates were closed. I need to run in and grab plants and cactus quickly for my own business, but I have to walk the entire way around and transport giant cacti all the way from the garden center to the checkout on the opposite side of the store, back to the parking lot. To top it off, today it turns out the cactus I just spent awhile inside looking for are all on the outside of the gate (not accessible from the inside unless you walk all the way around again). Turns what could have been a 5 minute trip into a half hour. At the very least they could put some of the species on the outside inside too, so they are accessible to people who made the trip without walking back around again read more

We've had a handful I'd mixed experiences at this Lowes location. They are generally well-stocked, the check-out lines are quick, and you don't usually have to walk halfway across the giant store to find someone to help you. That being said, you may or may not get an employee who has any idea of where to find what you're looking for. I'm not really sure if it is the training they receive or what, but I have walked multiple miles around that store, following someone in a red vest. Overall though, I'd still rather spend my dollars here than at Home Depot. read more

very cheap quality dishwasher whirlpool regular price $550 but got sale $100 off but for $450 still not worth it at least to previous one that lasted nearly ten years. where was metal before is now honeycomb plastic and motor which is very cheap manuf one, figure maybe last till end of warranty - was deliv by a contract truck with absolutely horrible handling. wanted to check for any damage and the guy just rips and tossed the cardboard off, very unprofessional, worst delivery person ever dealt with and lowes didn't seem to care as never heard anything back after contacting three times. spent 2 1/2 hrs talking with lowes about ship cost goof up, was supposed to be $30 but nobody could decrease it from the $80 that was showing up, so I spent $50 more in ship for lousy shipping handling. since then ordered a refrigerator but this time thru home depot which used ups as their shipper and as usual excellent service from them. from now on, even if a little more expensive, home depot will get my business. read more

If it is possible to leave a review that is less than one star consider it to be this one. At the beginning of last April I purchased new kitchen cabinets from Lowe's on Oracle. My salesperson was John Pierson and after I made my selections John confirmed them and told me that I needed to pay the full amount upfront. I did. I heard nothing again from John again. Cabinets were finally delivered toward the end of July and the installers were scheduled to come last Tuesday. They were there and did a good job on installing the upper cabinets and then had to stop because Lowe's (or their contractors) had failed to deliver two lower cabinets that needed to be installed before the others could be. Because they could not do anything more they left mid afternoon. ' I then called Lowe's and spoke to Michelle who said she would try to find out where they were and see if they could expedite the delivery so that I can have a kitchen again. Literally, I have had no kitchen - no water, no stove, no dishwasher, no microwave - for a week now. After a couple calls to Michelle she finally let me know on Thursday that they had found my cabinets here in Tucson and would see about expediting delivery. It is now four days later and I have seen and heard nothing and still have no kitchen. I just attempted to call John Pierson to see what the status is - he was very apathetic, said he had tried to call the delivery people a couple times and had not been able to get through, but he would leave a message asking Michelle to follow through in the morning. I still have no kitchen. I will never go through Lowe's for a big project again and strongly encourage my friend, family, and whoever is reading this to avoid them under any circumstances. Since making my payment upfront I have had no useful contact with them (except Michelle last Thursday night) so I can see where their priorities are and it is clear that they are not with their customers. read more

2 years ago I ordered 9 windows and 1 sliding glass door to be installed. 2 years later and the project is still not finished. The installer that was used had 1 great employee and I appreciated him and his work. The rest of the time a different person came and he left everything a mess. I tried calling the installation team, tried emailing the corporate office, tried disputing my credit card charge for this installation! Nothing has happened. My windows have molding that is peeling off, the outside is just expanding foam rather than a finished look (the 1st installer finished the windows and they looked great, the 2nd guy just sprayed foam and walked away), not enough caulking was used on some windows so there are gaps where sunshine and heat can just come on in! 2 years I've been fighting to have the installation completed, I've been given empty promises or ignored altogether. I've been waiting for 2 years! I'm still paying for the windows, but I'll never shop at any Lowe's ever again. read more

However, what was disappointing was my experience at the register. After giving the cashier the phone number for military discount she asked me for my ID to make sure my name matched my husbands. Wait what? I told her this is 2021 you don't have to change your name anymore. She said it was lowe's policy that married names have to match for the discount to apply. Not only is this the first time Anyone had asked me or mentioned this but I'm appalled Lowe's would have this antiquated policy. I ordered a dish washer over 2 months ago they called me to tell me the would deliver it on the 22 of June I took off work and they never came. I call the store they told me to call the head office no one could help me they where completely disinterested in my time they wasted. Now today 2 weeks later they deliver the dishwasher and it's the wrong color no one checked and they took my old one away. I am sure I will get some BS excuse with no taking any responsibility and leaving me with nothing for another 2 weeks or costing me more money and time off. I had high hopes.... we purchased a new washer and dryer on the weekend of Labor Day for the sales. The delivery was set (according to the woman that helped us) for September 11, 2022. I called on September 10, 2022, to find out if it was still on for delivery and to get a time. The woman at customer service informed me that it was still to be delivered on September 11, 2022, and to call at 8:00 A.M. to get a 4-hour window. I had family in town and we were working on a few projects and had to run into town to pick up a few things from Lowes. We stopped in on September 11, 2022, and I ran to the back of the store to speak with someone about the delivery and to see if I could get a timeframe for the delivery. I was informed by the young man in the back that we were not on the schedule for delivery and that we weren't set for delivery until September 18, 2022. I said okay, that's fine and went on with my day. September 17, 2022, I receive a phone call at 6:01 P.M. to let me know that someone would be by between 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. We waited until about 6:30 P.M., and then my fiance decided to call to make sure that someone was still on their way. He spoke with multiple people and he was given different phone numbers to call (none of them worked). It finally came down to them not showing up and by 7:30 P.M. my fiance had been on the phone for an hour and 30 minutes of that was spent on hold by the manager of the Ina location. We are going to go by there today to just pick up the washer and dryer. I'm hoping that they don't give us any grief. If they would have just delivered/delivered even today I wouldn't be writing this. Just spent 30 minutes there with five different employees attempting to find a tube of DAP Textured patch. No luck. Their intranet site indicates an aisle & bin number that are not remotely close to where these sort of items whould be kept. It's always the same story with this place ...different items; same waste of time. Been that way for years. All I wanted to do is buy a water softener. $397... BUT Lowe's decided we had to pay for a plumber to come over to "make sure it would fit. Told them we were replacing a unit and it would, but they insisted there might be things I didn't know about that would affect it's fit. $35 would be deducted from installation. Stupidity I said ok. Plumber came and in about 3 minutes said it would fit. Good gig if you can get it, over $10 a minute. Final bill was $415 to install. Oh that didn't include additional parts. Total install was close to $500.....for $397 water softener. NOPE!!!! Suck me is with $35 fee for a plumber, will not suck me in with installation cost more then product. Lowe's says they value veterans, but this is NOT a way to treat a veteran!!!! read more

My husband & I relocated to Dove Mtn. from Bullhead City, AZ. This is the nicest, cleanest store with wonderful personnel in every dept. Everyone is friendly, helpful & concerned. Not overly happy with this Lowes. Made an appointment to purchase countertops and was completely blown off. The person i was supposed to see was busy with other customers, the alternate was already off shift and wanted to reschedule me when it was convenient for him, not me. Both the general manager and regional manager should be appalled at the lack of customer service their people are providing.
