The other day I went to Lowe's to pick up a gift for a dinner party that I was going to. This was a thank you gift. I walked by the herbs and the selection of the herbs were beautiful fresh well watered. The price of the herbs were such a value to me. I picked out the four best herbs and went inside and found the most amazing hanging basket.. Somehow, that all found its way into my basket. When I was checking out with Martha B. The service she gave me was above anything I've seen in a such a long time. When I was checking out, I shared with her. I was trying to find helped and making an appointment to get vertical blinds. This gentleman named Jake came by with his phone. Made an appointment with me. Now this is customer service. Thank you, Martha, B and Jake for making my shopping so much more special. I completely loved the service Stacy showed to us during our visit. We were picking up plants and when one didn't have a price at check out she without missing a bit had another associate Nick I think that was his name watch the registers (he was also very kind) she went to check the price and even often liners for our car so transportation the plants wouldn't mess up our car. I had the WORST experience with Lowes. On April 22, 2026 at 12pm I ordered 14 sheets of plywood. Fiberglass, drywall screws, staples misc. Because we ordered before 2pm they said it would be delivered today April 22 from 2-8pm. NO DELIVERY, NO CALL. Sat and waited from 2-8 with no electricity. I don't live there yet! I called them.,., they were sorry they didn't have a truck that big, and couldn't deliver on the 22nd or the 23rd the next morning. Manager Bryan said I could cancel if I liked. This morning the 23rd at 6am went to HOME DEPOT. They got my van loaded with in an hour. I needed it this morning for the contractors. LOWES I will never shop at your store again. read more

Yesterday, September 12, 2026, my wife and I went to Loew's to purchase a Brute 34 gallon trash can. We parked in Handicap Parking. I was ready to go into Loew's to get an electric cart for my wife when Mike just happened to be gathering shopping carts to take into the store. Mike asked if we would like a cart, I told him no, but thank you. I told him I was going inside to get an electric one for my wife. He said he would get it for us. Sure enough, Mike drives up with the cart for my wife. He asked if we needed any help with anything. My wife asked Mike if he knew where the Brute Trash Cans were located and he said yes, then showed us the way. We would have been searching forever if we didn't ask him for help. In the process of building a concrete water fountain -Went into Lowe's with questions on crack potential and what could be used for something without stones in it - spoke to young gal at register and she had me go the aisle and wait for someone to come in. I was there for 2 minutes and help came. He wasn't able to answer my question off the top of his head but got onto AI for help. He then called in a supervisor with the question. I left with 4 bags of mud topping. I guess I will see if the product works but was very pleased with the assistance provided. I usually don't like big home improvement stores because questions are had to get answers for. read more

After ordering my kitchen cabinets from Lowes back in December 2025, I'm still missing 2 doors. They have shiped them to me 3 times and each Time they showed up broken. They are slow to respond and Lowe's gave up on us so we went straight to the factory. read more

Lowe's is where I go for paint, plants, lighting (interior and exterior), hardware, and cleaning supplies. On this latest trip, I saw a consumer report that recommended these solar lights for the exterior of the house. I simply placed my order online, and the product was in stock. I was able to browse around the store, had some keys made, and picked up the merchandise in a matter of minutes. They do have the self-check out option, but I go to the regular cashier to pay. I feel the automation service is taking jobs away, so I avoid them. During the holidays, they have a lot of seasonal merchandise on display at reasonable prices. I especially appreciate the large parking lot and 4 spaces designated for Veterans. I don't know of any other place that offers priority parking for them. If you're an honorably discharged veteran, register an online account with Lowe's, submit proof of your military service, and receive a 10% discount on your purchase, earn rewards, and free shipping too!! Went today to Lowe's to return the cabinet that we had just bought that was missing hose in one of the shelves got another cabinet at the same time a cabinet and then as I opened up the box to look inside, all holes were on the new cabinet, but there was no brackets in the cabinet screws no bag with cabinet fixtures to hold the door on. They brought me an open box which is probably somebody stole the brackets from that one because they probably bought one and I didn't have rackets so I would not really rate the store a number one or even a one I'll never go back to this Lowe's again it's very disappointing because Lowe's is my absolute favorite store to go to. This is the first time that I've ever have happened a terrible time at Lowe's. I don't understand what's going on, so yeah I don't rate this one. I put a one star only because I felt bad but the two guys that helped us out to our car Mike and I can't remember the other guys name Jake I think it is they were very helpful and I thank them for helping us out in the parking lot to bring the new cabinet to our car now I have to go back to Lowe's and see if they have the brackets for this cabinet. Hopefully they do. They said they're gonna take the cabinet that I had take the fixtures out of that one and gave me those. We'll see what happens but anyways I don't really recommend this Lowe's to anyone. They have very poor customer service except for the help that goes to the car. It seems like they don't really like to do much. Their attitude is not really good. read more

If you're looking to purchase a small item, it's worth shopping here. If you require delivery I wouldn't recommend. For starters, when I am told delivery is free, I wouldn't expect a $70 charge to my credit card for delivery. Also, when I am given a specific day and time for delivery and I take time off from my already busy schedule, I would like for delivery to take place. I received notice the day of delivery that my refrigerator was added to a schedule on its way to Los Angeles. I am given a different day for delivery, now I have to move my schedule around again. 2nd attempt for delivery- Delivery day arrives, I receive a notice that my delivery has arrived. I look out my window, no delivery truck. Seconds later, I receive a text that my delivery has been rescheduled for the following day. I call customer service and I am told that there was a delay because the driver arrived to the wrong address. Mind you, I live 1 mile and half from Lowe's in San Dimas. If I had a truck to bring home a refrigerator, I wouldn't have to deal with Lowe's and their incompetence. 3rd attempt for delivery- Is today. Fingers crossed that all goes well. read more

Super nice Lowe's in San Dimas. The aisles are clean and well kept. The store is organized and the staff is helpful and friendly. The parking lot is not a hot mess, and I even noticed an employee doing landscaping around the perimeter of the building. Why is service so bad at the location? Mind you I have an account here that I am canceling! All I needed was a few pieces of wood cut. Came around 1pm so the place is empty, 2 guys said they would come help me, Waited 20 min and now I'm driving home to get my circular saw to cut my own wood in parking lot! I get it, sometimes the right personnel is not on site or short handed, maybe even busy. But this is really upsetting when I have to take time out of my day because some people are not competent to do their job or a manager is not fixing this! Not the first time this happens. read more

However, these two men along with a younger female employee were all so helpful with assisting me with my purchase of wood and bricks. There was a complete lack of customer service during my visit. I passed the same group of employees three times while looking for an item; they were engaged in a personal conversation unrelated to work. Additionally, their use of inappropriate language was quite alarming, with no regard for the young customers in the store. Management should be proud--they've mastered team-building techniques, even if it comes at the expense of customer service. A young man in a white collared shirt was moving throughout the center aisles, frequently giving fist pumps and saying things like "You good?" to the employees. When I finally had a chance to ask him where the item I needed was located, he casually pointed toward an aisle and said, "Over there." At that point, the experience felt more like a comedy than a professional interaction. Fortunately, I found what I needed across the street at The Home Depot. read more

We placed an order of pavers in early February. We're told that we would have to wait until the truck gets a full load before we get the order. On quite a few occasions, we would stop by to check the status. The last time we stopped by, we were then told they discontinued the item. Their system doesn't reflect the status at all, and they would have to make a phone call and get status. I do have to say that their employee was very apologetic, but still, that doesn't excuse the whole shopping experience. We will be shopping somewhere else. read more

I was standing in line and the very nice boy at check out told me they were only taking card at the moment . I only had cash so he told me to go to the register at costumer service . So we headed our way over there and this young lady was arguing with a costumer about some thing he took to return. He asked to speak to a manager she got on the phone. Rolllinh her eyes she was just taking her time after she proceeded to let him know that somebody was coming and he said yeah, but I want to talk to the manager and she said yes, but just to let you know, I'm a manager too. Very rudely!! Her name was Evelyn . Very rude girl rolling her eyes : she sees us standing in line and never once did she asked how can we help you or any thing she walked away and started talking to another co worker that was helping another customer. we just stood there for over 10 minutes and nobody knowledge us . I had a car full of Christmas decor.. and it really upset me she not once asked if we needed any thing ! I love coming to this location because it's bigger and always has more Christmas decorations. Klein tools signed a contract with them. Removing the tools I buy at Home Depot. Now when I have to exchange hand tools they are saying I have to contact Klein. Where when Klein was at Home Depot I would be able to swap out tools. They have a life time warranty Lowe's is the provider now they should honor it like they do craftsman. Absolutely awful service during delivery and installation. They showed up to deliver our washer and dryer without any installation parts which we paid for. When I called customer service, I could barely understand the customer service rep and he offered me a delivery date for parts which meant I would then have to schedule a delivery date for installation. Absolutely ridiculous. I spoke to a Supervisor and he told me that I could go to Lowe's that night and buy the parts (again) for a higher price, and they could come out the next day to install. He told me they would call 30 minutes before arriving. The following day they called from in front of our house and gave us no time to get home to open the door. I told the delivery person that my wife would be there in 10 minutes and they just left, actually drove right by my wife as she pulled onto our street. Then they blocked my number and would not answer the phone. I called the customer service line again and they gave me a next day window of 12-4. I received a text confirming this. The following day they called me at 10AM and said they were 30 minutes away. I explained that the window was 12-4 but they said they would have to reschedule again for the following day. I had to take another day off of work to keep them in route to get these installed. I was told that I would receive compensation for this debacle and they offered $150. It cost me over $200 to take that much extra time off work and they still owed me a difference of $50 from the second time I bought the parts. I did not accept the offer because it does not make up of what they cost me. I'd much rather warn everyone else not to make the choice I made by going to Lowe's for this. Horrible customer service, I highly recommend going somewhere else to get your appliances. I will never shop here again. read more

This place continues to decline. It's mediocre on a good day. Yesterday I went to buy a pair of Corona pruning sheers. I got to the isle and saw want could only be described as minimal selection, I looked around for a sales person without success. Went to customer service and asked for someone to meet me at the isle. I waited at the isle for over 6 mins & never heard a PA announcement for customer service. Finally a random employee was walking by. She said she wasn't paged to location to help me. She said what ever was on the rack, that was it. Shameful, I went to Ace Hardware and found what I was looking for. Lowe's stop the decline in customer service. read more

This Lowe's has a small town atmosphere and is located among a few fast food restaurants if you should get hungry while shopping for hardware. I've found Lowe's cost are slightly less than that of Home Depot, but the selection may be limited in some stores. I've always ordered my purchases online, as I'm not sure COVID is over and really don't want to go inside yet. However, their curbside pickup application did not work, so was forced to go inside to customer service. As it turned out, my hood duct was not as large as expected, and actually fit inside my vehicle with no hassles. I shop at Lowe's for some slight cost savings over other hardware stores, but curbside pickup is still lacking quick service. read more

I bought my turtle plastic liner here. Granted I had to purchase it twice or more but nothing last forever. They do eventually crack with the weather. Home Depot does not carry these stand alone liners. It's a must when you have two dirty red eared slider turtles . Let's face it, they weren't and couldn't live in a tank any longer! They also have a bag of pond rocks for fairly cheap for anyone looking for craft projects for kids FYI. Lastly, they typically get more birds at Lowe's than Home Depot in their outdoor plant area. I'm not sure why. But my dogs absolutely love when they get to see the birds at Lowe's. And they aren't afraid of my dogs either. read more

Don't order lumber and have it delivered!!! We ordered all our supplies online for a composite deck. We needed it delivered because we had no way of getting it to our home otherwise. They delivered all the materials, but when my husband got home all the weather treated lumber was not straight. It was like the pullers didn't even look how awfully crooked they were. Ridiculous, you would think that if it was going to be delivered they would make sure the lumber was not crooked. They don't care and it made our job so much harder. Never again!! read more

Jose in Kitchen and Bath (and cabinets) provided excellent service and is an asset to Lowe's he assisted with a few questions we had about how to resolve an issue and after we tried his suggestion, it resolved the problem and we were back later to purchase the new LG dishwasher from him. I'll write another review for the contracted install company as my Mom, who received our washer raved about his excellent service. Thank you, Lowe's, for the front parking and discount as a Veteran. My only complaint is that the particular washer was on sale, and when I went to check out, I was told I could not have my military discount. A military discount should be on total purchase, but its not the case and the person at the register said they can give us the biggest of the two discounts but not both....so I really didn't get to use my discount which is why I chose to buy my dishwasher at Lowe's. read more

I absolutely love this Lowe's! Recently we started attending the Lowe's Kid's Workshop and the staff there are just great! Super friendly and happy to be doing their jobs. They even provide free snacks and drinks for the littles on top of an already free project offered. I really appreciate the little extra they do because they certainly do not have to. It's something that has become part of our monthly routine! Outside of that, I can always find what I'm looking for here and great selections. Great garden section as well and very clean store. Horrible service. Salespeople are not trained properly. Purchased a stackable washer/dryer unit and was not advised I would need a stacking kit and possible drain pan. Had to go back the next day to pick up the stacking kit which they comped for me because they felt I deserved at least that. Then their delivery guys didn't realize I had corroded valves behind my washer and dryer so they had to leave a second time, at which time I finally hired a plumber because only plumbers can fix corroded valves. read more
