Contractors' Warehouse has many home construction products available. I came for bathroom lights, mirrors, and towel racks. They have diverse options that are nicely labeled on the display and inventory section. The prices for some items are better than Home Depot. However, prices for cabinets and counter tops are more competitive elsewhere. Most stores nowadays only carry modern options, and here they carry the not-as-trending models too. Brand wise, other stores carry more options. For example, I didn't see Pfister or Kohler facets. Although the aisles are nicely labeled, it was hard finding my way around to the sections I needed without asking. Even then, not all employees knew exactly which section had the items and would give a range instead. I recommend monitoring cashier behavior. My cashier gave the impression of lacking respect for customers. She kept talking about food and lunch orders with the coworkers, looking at her nails, ignoring me as I waited at check out. It was not until I asked a third time if I could check out that I was acknowledged. Additionally, I was the only customer at checkout... I hope to see the checkout experienced improved for the future. read more

Thanks to all the employees who helped me with my home project of replacing all interior doors and casings (Eric, Isabel,Isabella and Joe), I feel obligated to post a review. Eric was incredibly patient with me and if he didn't have an answer to my question, he called someone for the answer. When he wasn't available to help, his coworkers stepped up and took over with the same work ethic and honesty. Some mistakes were made but they took responsibility and made it right. I'm done with my project but will be back for any future projects. read more

Do not come here. The People who work should get fired. They are incompetent. They Need new employees. Holy smokes. I'm so aggravated. I want to cry. It took them almost 3 months to get my order because the lady who helped me didn't want to be corrected for the mistake that she made. Now it took 3 months. How is that going to work with contractors and their projects?! This is not right. What a bunch of clowns. Seriously don't come here. Look for a better company. There's plenty of other companies. read more

Huge warehouse for all your home needs. Staff was professional and ready to help, pricing was great on many items and higher than other businesses on a few items. Very well organized and fully stocked store. The only issue I had were all the vendors that approached me in the parking lot handling me their business cards for handyman services. I was approached by two such men going in to the store and three on the way out. I get it, everyone needs to work but i definitely felt these men breathing down my back as they all rushed to me trying to get me to take one of their business cards. read more

We've purchased quite a few things here over the last few years and are happy with the price & quality. I recommend coming to CW after visiting the neighborhood home improvement stores to compare products. Sometimes you can find something similar to what you're looking for, and it'll be less expensive or nicer. I've never experienced the service issues other reviewers mention, but we always know exactly what we're looking for, so that may be a factor. read more

Writing a review just to give a shoutout to Mark. We bought several boxes of tiles from here a few weeks ago and he was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, not only helping us with the purchase but also helping us review the steps to grade, tile, grout, and seal a concrete platform to make sure we were doing anything right. read more

When remodeling a bathroom, you need to keep your options open. Sure, you can find pretty much everything you need at your local Home Depot or Lowe's, but it is not a terrible idea to expand your horizons a little bit, and see if you can save a few bucks. HD Supply is one of those places that you should consider. They have a pretty good selection of materials and larger objects that you need for your home. On our recent trip here, we looked at countertops, flooring, water heaters, and cabinets... All of these were found in their aisles and tall shelves, and at prices that are worth comparing to some of those stores you know better. The crew that were working the floor we're not quite as jocular as the staff at say, Home Depot, but to be fair, we were in there on a Tuesday late in the evening... So maybe the guy we ask for help I was in the middle of something? Either way, if you can get past that... Which I did... There are some deals and steals to be found here. read more

super excited when I went there on Saturday got about $1500 of stuff One of the things I had bought and had delivered to my house was a Wood fence After inspecting it I noted several cracks and chunks of wood missing one where you could see clearly through the fence.. I brought it to the driver's attention And he told me he brought it to their attention before it left the warehouse And they said deliver it wow I called and spoke to a manager I think her name was marabelle or something like that Worst customer service ever I explained to her what was going on And she stated to me she saw the fence before it left .I said really then where's the damages at she said the back... The damage I saw which are 5 of them is on front... Thanks for letting me know about the back I haven't looked yet... Here's where it gets shitty for me I understand things happen but when you know And you still send damaged merchandise to a customer's house You are a straight up jerk. I will never shop there again and I will let my dad know who Own a construction business for 50 years in Orange County To stop going there and Let my colleagues know not to go there as well... read more

Contractors warehouse has very knowledgeable employees One of my favorites is Robert Tong He is always professional and is never too busy to help us My wife and I are older and he is patient with us and makes sure we have everything we need and nothing we don't. Some places try to sell you things you don't need just to make money. Store is always clean We love coming here for our home projects read more

The customer service is horrible!! I can not believe that have people working such disrespectful unmannered people Marlene was so rude she said I just wanna get you out of here I don't need your sales!like who says that such a horrible experience especially after spending thousands of dollars. I will be contacting corporate and she needs a customer service course or something read more

The absolute WORST customer service!!!! Honestly the poor customer service doesn't make up for the minimal cheaper prices. There are so many people behind the counter and at the register but nobody on the floor. And when you go to the front to ask for help to the aisle you're waiting in multiple times and still nobody shows after a half hour makes it not worth coming back ever again. I'd rather go to Home Depot or Lowe's at least there's enough helpful knowledgeable employees to help you out. read more

I experienced several issues when I purchased a door for my home at Contractors Warehouse in Pomona. I had called and visited the store a few times trying to resolve the issue. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I was put in contact with Jonathan Marroquín. Jonathan listened carefully to my problem and immediately made me feel he was interested in helping me. Jonathan provided me with different options to resolve my issue. Jonathan's customer service exceeded my expectations, he even followed up with me after to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was taken care of. It's because of Jonathan that I will continue to shop at Contractors Warehouse. read more

Been coming here for many years and will continue to do so. The drive in material yard is great where you load yourself, get out, then pay. It is definitely faster than Home Depot and Lowe's when you know what you want or need. I see many complaints on customer service but I mainly have a decent experience with everyone. You do see some that don't even look up and greet people as they walk in but that's ok when you're there to buy what you need at very competitive prices. Sometimes it's very quiet there after the morning rush and you can certainly get someone to help if you need it. They all seem knowledgeable in their inventory but if they don't know, they will ask someone that knows. read more

The lack good service when it comes to the registers . Usually only one person and it can take you 30-35 minutes just to check out of the line to buy something . read more

Contractors' Warehouse - Long wait times , one register open at all times - Building Supplies Near Me - Pomona, California

THEY DID ME SO WRONG. I purchased several wooden panels to replace the old fence in the backyard of my property and also paid for it to be delivered. NEVER DO THAT WITHOUT PICKING OUT YOUR OWN PANELS. The 2 guys that delivered them had delivered panels that were warped and bent (AND NEVER USE DAY LABORERS) who's dumb a$$es just pulled them right off the truck (AND NEVER NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY'RE DOING), I thought I had help and was wondering why were the deliverers so helpful when they usually not...and I found out why once I inspected the panels THEN when I called HD Supply in Moreno Valley they just put me on hold and left me there even when I called again and then said that they didn't and wouldn't do that. THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AND I HAVE I HAVE OTHER PROPERTIES TOO THAT THEY WILL NEVER GET TO CAPITOLIZE OFF OF ANY PURCHASE NEEDED. I HAVE, WE ALL HAVE OPTIONS, AND THEY WILL NEVER BE ONE OF THEM EVER AGAIN. My last review was taken down. Do you plan on taking down this one too? read more

Really great place! Great doors in stock!!! People are very nice and helpful. Also great prices.

Stay away from this place. Thieves hang out in the parking lot and will steal you blind while you are shopping. Store managers do not care about reviewing the cameras with the police. When the police finally arrive they will tell you stay away from this store because customers are always getting their vehicles broken into. Don't chance it stay away. We learned from experience today. read more

I went on an errand to return some items to the main warehouse. At the door, I was cordially greeted (intercom) by a female voice. Told her my mission and she sent out a Staff member to accept my returns and it all took less than 7 minutes. A lot shorter time that I spent there compared to my traveling one hour or so. Their product catalog is huge and the physical plant is very very big. They've got it all. read more

My review is for Managi. She is the lady checking the receipts by the exit. I want to commend her on her professionalism and great customer service skills. She needs to be commended and recognized also by her superiors. Thank you read more

They are completely inept when it comes to helping customers get in and out of the store quickly in the tool rental department is always nonexistent in the few people that you work there pretend you don't exist. I highly recommend another choice when looking for two rentals! Their motto is not to rush! If the customers want it they got to wait read more

Very well deserved one star. I go to the special order desk and mind you they have about 5 people waiting and 2.5 worker behind the desk. One guy was helping a customer....you can tell he was very detailed with the customer which is nice then you have the other two a girl (Melissa) and another male employee sitting at he station taking- she kept looking towards waiting and after a few stares from the people waiting she decided to wave us over....no concern whatsoever to help and get people taken care of. I have had good service here but today was horrible....I walked out and will go order my door else where. Very in considerate. read more

This is the best place with best affordable prices for everyone I think better than The Home Depot and Lowe's put together. Most employees are very helpful and friendly and today 4/6/22 Tuesday we were helped by a nice lady named Carol that was very helpful nice and knowledgeable and didn't make us wait appreciate her help. Thanks so much read more

I had a water leak in my kitchen, insurance claim with a tight budget. HD provided my flooring and countertop well within my budget! Oh yeah, that's a new window from HD too. The old window used to be where the stove is in the picture. (There's a added bedroom behind there), so we had no natural light. So we switched sink and stove, moved the peninsula against the wall, added new lights (also from HD). My kitchen is completely transformed from what it used to be. All within my tight budget! Thanks HD supply!! read more

Remodeling my house and my contractor told me about this store. I was quite shocked at the wide variety of products they carry and even more amazed at the low prices. I wouldn't have thought upon arrival but, the customer service is beyond exceptional. The employees here are all more than happy to answer questions and go above and beyond to help you look for what you need. This was my first time here but definitely won't be my last. Thank you! read more

This one star is to get owner's attention on a rude employee, not because they don't have cute things here for good prices, it's for the way my bf was mistreated when he went in tonight for a purchase. They delayed the process of purchase and wasn't organized. He went in at around 8pm to buy some cute French doors that the price dropped almost $200 because there was some broken parts that chipped. So I sent him to buy it and it didn't fit on his truck so the lady there was rude about it and said who authorized this and we asked to hold on to the door so we find arrangements to pick it up and she said that she will put the money back on the card until we pick it up. What kind of customer service is that? So we stayed until we called a friend to come by with a bigger truck to pick it up which caused stress. She said it's a final sale and can't put it on will call. read more

Worse place to visit when your remodeling, in a good way! Every visit has led to overspending. The prices are by far better than those of Lowes and Home Depo. Does need to work on customer service, however I will tolerate their cranky employees as long as their prices continue to be better than their competitors. read more

The windows are good here but the service needs some serious work! I prefer I get my windows at hd but the workers here make you wait so long and give you attitude when you ask them to do their job. It maybe because they don't get paid as much as Homedepot employees. If so raise their pay or fire them. All they do is shit in front on the store entrance bsIng. Really annoying!!! Hope they read this and clean up their act read more

I have been to this location a handful of times and it's customer service is the absolute worst. I was there wanting to reserve a door and a young girl with a nasty attitude said that I could pay for it but they had no room to store it away so if a customer came they could buy it off. What kind of BS is that? I wish I could remember her name to let her manager know! read more

It's okay. The prices are really good but I question the quality. The store is mostly hardware like you'd find in the big box hardware stores but with off brands. There some real random stuff in here like soccer balls, blue jeans and candy. If you need to rent large tools, they do have an awesome selection. If you're on a budget this could be your place. 3 stars! read more

This is my go to place to buy supplies for my remodeling projects. A lot of different items and supplies to choose from. A huge selections of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Prices are cheap and inexpensive if you know what you're looking for. read more

If you have to get some materials to fix or build your house, then you've got to come here. Their prices are about the same or a little less than the other big box stores. Chances are, you will save money. The selection is not as great as the other big box stores, but you'll get what you need, especially if it is the rough items. The finish items are enough, but again, there's more to offer at other stores. They don't pull your order for you if you don't have it delivered by them. This is another difference from the other big box stores that will pull your orders for you off the shelves if you pre-order them. I want to say that the way they load up people's trucks in the front entrance is a hazard. Some guy parked his truck in the front to load up and took up the entire entrance where people walk in. I had to squeeze my cart past his truck and he got all bent out of shape. There has to be a better place to allow customers to load up their trucks than the front entrance. read more
