When the water purifier in my shop suddenly broke down, I contacted the original company that…read moresupplied it for repairs. At first, they proposed: $210 to replace the filter, plus $180 to install a new machine (the machine itself not included). I explained that I already had an unused backup unit of the same brand and model, also purchased from them. I only needed the old unit removed and the spare one installed, without replacing the filter. Based on their original logic, it should have just been the $180 installation fee. However, they changed their story and said that removing and reinstalling would cost $360 -- then added, "We can charge you $280." After that, they strongly pushed me to buy a brand-new machine for $700-800, with installation charged separately. The technician even claimed that removing the machine would cause continuous leaking because he "couldn't find the water valve," and that many parts would be needed for replacement. But the valve was right next to the machine, clearly visible. As a professional, saying he couldn't find the valve was hard to understand. If they had been transparent from the beginning -- for example, clearly stating $180 service fee plus $100 additional part -- I might have accepted it. But constantly changing the quote, exaggerating the difficulty, and steering me toward buying a new machine only made me feel like they saw me as an easy target. In the end, I handled it myself. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. No extra parts were needed -- just turning off the water valve, disconnecting the tubing, and reconnecting it to complete the swap. Sigh... I understand that every business wants to make money, but the way you do it really matters.

Delmy was so patient and thorough. She spent several hours with me bringing my design to life. And then the next day spent another couple of hours fine tuning, explaining and going through finishes with my husband. She was very diligent in making the right decisions with materials and sharing tips of the trade to get us what we wanted while staying within our defined budget. She even covered pieces in my order that I had forgotten about. She professional and has great instincts. I was also pleased that they had multiple options and we were able to find plenty of stock and availability in both cabinets and countertops. Both were reasonably priced and it was great to find everything at one location instead of having to go to multiple places. My only disappointment is that the warehouse is only open Monday through Friday and not open on Saturdays. But, I would recommend Delmy and FX for the wonderful and stress free experience.

Their showroom has a great selection, and everything feels solid and well-made -- not cheap or flimsy like some other places. What stood out most was the service. The staff was genuinely friendly, patient, and helpful. They took the time to answer my questions and helped me choose what made sense for my project without any pressure. The whole process was smooth and easy, from ordering to pickup. Good quality products and good people -- hard to find these days. I'll definitely be coming back for future projects. We had our entire house done with SPC flooring from Nextar Cabinets and Closets, and in just a few…read moreyears the quality has proven to be extremely poor. The flooring is peeling throughout the house, including at the edge of our stairs, which is both disappointing and concerning. When I noticed the damage, I searched online and saw that the same product, Los Angeles Collection, Hancock Park was still listed on their website. I called ahead to confirm availability, and the sales associate told me they had 100 pieces in stock. Based on that, I went into the store and purchased two pieces. After the purchase, I was told the product wasn't in that warehouse and I would need to wait 30 minutes while they checked another location. Thirty minutes later, I was then told the item was discontinued and no longer available anywhere. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since the product is still listed on their website and still shows as in stock in their system, which is how I was able to purchase it in the first place. Even the sales associate was unaware it had been discontinued. Long story short: the product quality is poor, and even more troubling is the lack of organization, communication, and accuracy in their inventory and business practices. This was a huge investment for our home, and the experience has been nothing but disappointing. I would strongly recommend staying far away. There are far better alternatives out there. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
