Came here the day after Father's Day 2026 to purchase a few pieces of plywood, custom cut for a DIY project. Also, got a mini fridge on sale. This was a Monday afternoon so store wasn't super busy. I selected what I needed and flagged a Lowe's worker down for the custom cuts. I was helped by Will at appliances who provided top quality customer service. He got the mini fridge on a dolly, rang us up, and even helped put it in my SUV. Special shout out to the guy who also did the wood cutting, I'm sorry I don't remember his name but he was absolutely professional and did an excellent cutting job for the plywood I needed. This is the exact reason why I don't shop at Home Depot anymore. The customer service at Home Depot has gone downhill over the years. I find the prices are often slightly higher than Home Depot and the location is less convenient for me, but I always seem, to come away with things I could not find elsewhere. I am addicted to their garden center and will usually scour their clearance sections. Betty (frequently my cashier) must love her job. She's always got a smile, and greets all her customers warmly. Lowe's at Happy Valley and I-17 I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's, installation was a poor experience and damaged cabinets. Lowe's and installation company both agreed they were responsible to fix. 3 months later and still has not resolved the issue. I got quotes to fix this but they don't want to pay the based on the quotes they asked me to provide. Quote was $250 and they offered $100. Anyone had minor cabinetry work by a professional for $100? I am/was a regular customer at Lowe's. All I have asked Lowe's is to cover the cost of fixing the kick plate for $250. I spoke to the Regional Director for the Lowe's Support Team, Terri, who want's me to work with installer to take whatever they offer. Highly recommend avoiding the Lowe's at Happy Valley and I-17. I went in to pick up insulation for a project and asked the Pro Desk for a specific size. They directed me to the back of the store, where I found two full pallets of exactly what I needed. I loaded both onto a cart, only to be stopped by an employee who told me I couldn't buy them because they were part of a customer order. I asked where the customer's name or signage was--there was nothing to indicate they were held for anyone. Why would special orders be left on the sales floor if they're not available for sale? Oh by the way, half of their self serve check outs are either not working or not turned on. How do they stay in business? Oh Lowe's how disappointed I am In you. My dear father went to purchase some items. He was treated oh so poorly by one of your female workers. I usually love a good strong women in the workplace especially in such a male dominated field. But today this particular women in the work place failed Lowe's. He presented a few different cards and she kept just saying doesn't work instead of explaining and using words which usually women do so well with she was short rude and unclear. He went on to use 6 cards and than she said tap to pay would be different as if he was supposed to know that tap to pay is a different thing than the physical cc he tried to use first. Not at this location, the lid for the 27 gal tote was on the highest shelf so an employee said someone would be over to help me. My mission today was to procure some items for some home improvements. I generally prefer to shop local and smaller home stores; however, when it comes to "big box" home stores, I prefer Lowe's. I'd always heard that the main difference between Lowe's and Home Depot is: Home Depot is mainly geared for contractors, and Lowe's is geared for both contractors and regular folks. One big thing Lowe's has over Home Depot for Veterans is, once you enroll in the Lowe's Veterans discount program, you receive 10% off each time you buy something. Home Depot only gives a Veterans discount once or twice a year. Check the Lowe's website for details on how to enroll as a U.S. Military Veteran for their discount. It's worth the time! Additionally, Lowe's makes it easier for, "Jack & Jill home improvement, Do-it-Yourselfer types" - they offer clinics (classes) you can take on how to do things. (For a generation or two that never had, "shop class" in school - this is much better than YouTube!) I needed to buy some shelves for my garage, a new tool bag for my drill set, some storage tubs and some random tools. By the way, I can't emphasize enough the value of investing in good storage racks and storage tubs. First off, they greatly improve the room you have in your garage via better space management. Secondly, when it comes time to move, the moving companies give you better rates if you have your items in tubs or boxes, since it's easier for them to estimate the load and haul. Third, the storage tubs don't cost much and they keep out any bugs/rodents and moisture. Depending on what part of the country you live in, this is a BIG DEAL! For the guys who read this review - it's worth the money - trust me! Today I was helped by a tall, red-haired man with an impressive, yet neatly trimmed beard. His name was David and his vest was camouflage patterned, which denoted his U.S. Military Veteran status; he served in the U.S. Army. David helped me with where to locate what I needed, and answered all of my questions. Here's a "Shout-Out" to my bro David! Solid & Knowledgeable Service! If you're in the area and need some home or garden supplies, give this Lowe's location a shot! It's conveniently located off of Interstate 17 in a mall area where you can hit Walmart, Staples, Petco, grab a Starbucks, visit the dentist, go to Verizon, buy fuel or a carwash and have an impressive array of restaurants to choose from. CHRIS, in LOWE'S LG's WARRANTY DEPARTMENT, is the worst AGENT, I have ever experienced in my entire life, saying. Calling me a liar twice. Earlier the same day, I was on the phone with them for an hour and a half, I hung up after numerous transfers, and being on hold. I called back (the dryer doesn't dry completely). when I spoke to CHRIS, in WARRANTY, she was rude from the first moment, then told me ". When I told her I had just hung up from their department after an hour and a half of transfers and no help. she said "THAT IS NOT TRUE, THIS IS THE 1ST TIME YOU CALLED". She checked my phone # again and repeated, "THAT IS NOT TRUE, THIS IS THE 1ST TIME YOU CALLED". When I told her I had been transferred from Lowe's, so it was probably their number she was seeing, she said nothing, no apology for calling me a liar, nothing. I explained the situation, how the dryer has not dried completely since day one, she then said "YOU DONT QUALIFY FOR A RETURN" The dryer hasn't worked correctly since the day i brought it home, how could I not qualify? Mind you, I also called within a couple days of purchase alled Within within a couple days of purchase. that agent told me to clean out the exhaust, it's probably plugged, or the temperature gauge is faulty So i did, no help, same thing, I have to go back in the garage a couple of times to start the dryer over again because they are not dry. Another thing, earlier the same day, two agents told me I need an r a number so that I could return it, then they transfer me. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT LOWES OR BUY AN LG PRODUCT AGAIN !!!. Dealing with this store has been nothing but a comedy of errors. Last weekend my wife and I purchased a new dishwasher on the Lowes website which showed in stock. Along with the new appliance, we also ordered delivery, haul-away of our old unit and the new water line that was required for installation. On Monday morning I received a call from this Lowes location stating that the dishwasher wasn't actually in stock, however they had a display model that they would sell me at a slight discount. If I wanted the display model, I would need to pick up the appliance myself as the delivery company wouldn't handle out-of-box merchandise. I declined and cancelled my order. Later that same day I went into the store in person and purchased another dishwasher after I was assured that it was in stock. I also confirmed that the new line was part of the purchase as it would be needed for installation as per their website instructions (which indicate that they need the new line for installation). Delivery was scheduled for today between 3-7 p.m. and after waiting most of the day, the delivery truck showed up at 6:00 p.m. As the delivery crew was getting ready to unload the new appliance, I remarked that it would be easier to take the new dishwasher down the sidewalk and bring the old unit up the same way after installation. The delivery person stared at me for a second and said that they were delivering the new dishwasher only, not installing anything. After I explained that the order was for installation and removal of the old unit, the driver said that this was the second time it happened to him today (referring to a customer erroneously thinking they were installing the purchase). I refused delivery and the store called an hour or so later and explained that the delivery people don't actually install the dishwasher, but that it's handled by a separate team after delivery and the installation was an additional costs. The appliance department representative acknowledged that I should have been told that during the time of in-store purchase. Ordered universal sliding Arcadia doors they delivered a left side door so had to return and purchase another Arcadia door that is actually a universal one and a screen door had to be purchased separately. So another month of wait time and now they are going to deliver the Arcadia door today but forgot to place the screen door on the deliver truck. They charge a $20 fee for delivery and I have to find a way to pick up the screen door myself and pray it is the actual screen door that is meant for the Arcadia door. And still no idea if they ordered and will deliver the correct Arcadia door today. Only good thing about Lowe's is the staff that places the order but the place that sends the special orders are poorly ran and creates frustration and delays since they don't have the ability to deliver the product ordered and paid for . We recently purchased a rental property here and I have visited this Lowe's at least a dozen times and the staff is so nice and helpful and they actually know what they are talking about. Back home (Seattle area) it's hard to even find available staff and when you do they aren't particularly nice and/or helpful. Had an extremely bad experience with Sean a "manager" and Monica in appliances. I came into the store needing a new fridge because mine went out. This was somewhat of an urgent matter because I have a 6 month old baby that we breast feed and we need something right away to keep the breast milk cold. If you have ever had a baby you MNOW how valuable breast milk is! While in the refrigerator section walking around for 30mins and not getting approached for help I eventually interrupted Monica's conversation at her computer. Mind you she had been at her computer the entire time just talking. When I did finally decide to interrupt I only asked her to call someone to help me because we found the fridge and were ready to buy. Her answer was to tell me "I will get to you after I'm done". So my wife, my 6 month old son and I continued to walk around the fridge section for another 15mins with no help and watched Monica keep having her conversation. Now my son is scream crying and I am getting frustrated as I am sure the rest of the store was hearing my son cry I asked once again Monica can you please call someone to help me? She told me to stop being rude and she would help when she is done. I could not believe this response and asked why wont you call someone to help me I have a screaming baby and I just need to know how to pay for this fridge. So she then called a manager...not for help but to say I was rude. Another 10 mins pass Sean came walked right past me, ignored me as I asked if he was the manager and went straight to Monica. After he came up to me and his first response..."So you are the rude guy what do you want". Lowe's is this how you train your staff to act? Is this acceptable for you guys and how you treat customers? I passed Home Depot, Target and a local Appliance store Spencer's to get to Lowes because I normally have a great experience here. All of these other places were way closer. So now I am at Spencer's Appliance store swiping my card for a fridge and they matched your price. Honestly disappointed. read more

I asked the Lowe's employee by the self check out how I could renew the account. She said she'd help me out. I thought that was really cool. She did not care to try to help me. I tried to cancel this credit card in the parking lot. So...2 weeks later, I am seeing an email telling me about the balance on my credit card. She claimed she didn't know how to cancel orders from this screen and would call me back. 2.5 hours passed by and no call. I then got the same female associate who became irate with me. Claiming that it's not a simple request. And screamed at me that it would be done tomorrow. I then said I should not have to call 3 times to cancel a simple order. And she hung up on me after claiming to transfer me to the store manager. This was a horrible experience. And someone this terrible should not be representing your brand. We needed to anchor the walls of our plastic shed to it's plastic floor and I had an idea which I thought was ok....Scott immediately had suggested an alternative solution which made immediate sense! He did it in the most perfect way also. Very humble guy and it was a total light bulb moment. I mean - the guy's a genius! Seriously....promote the man. Thanks Scott! This Lowe's location gets 5 stars for customer service! They knocked it out of the park right from the second we pulled into the parking lot! Literally! I took my elderly parents to pick up peg board, etc. I parked in the pick up area but discovered that a scooter was available way at the other end. Carlos was working outside and noticed that I was looking for something. he asked how he could help. He then offered to go and bring us the scooter. What a sweet heart! We then scooter in the door (Not me, my dad lol) and Steven greeted us with a big smile. He was so outgoing and helpful. He made us all laugh and then answered all of our questions and walked us down to the correct area to pick up our on line order. He explained everything to the nice gal at customer service, Brenda. She was super helpful and even gave me dad credit back on the purchase bc his veteran discount wasn't included. Steven and Brian loaded our purchase and made sure it was all in tight. Called in from out-of-town location for stock check. Russell in Lighting/Electrical was very helpful, checking store inventory database. He then checked shelf stock to confirm item number, name of product, price to make sure price and item were correct from what I was seeing online. I asked if he would pull and save for my pick-up and he pulled 2 for me and brought to Customer Service desk for pick-up to make sure I wouldn't drive there to find item sold-out.
