I have never had a bad experience here since shopping here for 3 years. I have experience with paint, gardening, outdoor, bathroom, flooring, lighting, and keys. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend shopping during summer sales (memorial day or july 4th) and holiday sales to save some money. I even had someone come to my house for measurements and flooring quotes. I do not recommend lowes to do your work as they contract out the work to the lowest bidder. If anything, use them to get free measurements and thats it. For jobs, the value is not the best. Sometimes the employees don't know where things are and they always say "i'm new here"... but then I tell them "well I don't work here" and they get bamboozled. Besides that, I will continue to use this location for my home needs. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. read more

I am in my 40's and never before in my life have I received service this amazing. Anywhere. Honestly it was to the point that I wouldn't even expect it of any staff from any store. Each time something went wrong (problem was an outside source, not Lowes) I thought "ok, well I guess the helping stops now", but Lizbeth continued to give all her effort until everything was resolved. Extremely disappointed with Lowe's Menifee. This is NOT the first time I've encountered what appears to be returned/used merchandise being sold as NEW at full price. Last year, I went in for a replacement weed whacker battery costing approximately $180. The batteries were locked up, so I asked an employee to open the case. There were two available. One package was beaten up and taped, and the other appeared fine until I inspected it closely and discovered it had also been retaped. I refused to purchase either and drove to the Murrieta location instead. I assumed it was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Today, I returned for a gate latch and once again found obviously returned merchandise being sold at full retail. One package was clearly retaped. Another was so dirty, dingy and worn that it looked like it had been sitting in someone's garage for years. Why is Lowe's selling merchandise that appears opened, returned or previously used as NEW? What safeguards prevent someone from purchasing an expensive item, replacing the contents with an old or defective product, and returning it? An innocent customer could then purchase it and face a nightmare trying to return it. At the very least, these items should be properly inspected, clearly marked and discounted, placed in clearance, or returned to the manufacturer--not presented as brand-new merchandise at full price. This is especially troubling for me because I have undergone 8 eye surgeries, including a cornea transplant, and have limited vision. I shouldn't have to scrutinize every centimeter of packaging just to make sure I'm actually purchasing a new product. I also reviewed this store approximately 6 years ago after being sold an obviously faulty/previously returned gas line. Apparently, nothing has changed. I have photos from today's visit and will be sharing them. I am extremely disappointed that a store so close to my home has repeatedly given me reason to question whether I can trust the merchandise being sold as "new." Lowe's corporate needs to investigate the Menifee location and its return/reshelving practices. Customers deserve better. read more

I contracted Lowes Palm Springs for my installation of the vinyl hard wood flooring. I was unaware they use a outside contractor (Keller Interiors) for installation. This was the worst service I have ever experience. The Keller Interiors flooring tried to get additional cash from me for a small job fix. He called Lowes and ordered additional material in which he did not use and put it back in his van. I called Lowes with no help. Stay away from LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT. read more

1-Star Review -- Lowe's Menifee (Absolutely Unacceptable Management) I normally never leave reviews, but the situation at the Lowe's in Menifee is so unacceptable that everyone in Menifee should rally together and demand that corporate take a serious look at how this store is being run, especially under Assistant Store Manager Brian. I placed an online order, paid for it, and one hour later Lowe's automatically canceled it, claiming that I never picked it up. That is completely false because I didn't even have time to pick it up before Lowe's canceled it on their own. Because the situation made no sense, I drove 45 minutes to the Menifee store to see whether the item was actually in stock. Online showed 134 in stock yesterday. Instead of helping, Assistant Manager Brian was at the front goofing around, laughing, and acting like helping a customer was the last thing he wanted to do. When I asked about purchasing the item, he flat-out refused and told me "you can't buy this until 12/13/25." No explanation, no effort, nothing, just a dismissive brush-off. Fast-forward to today. The same item is suddenly being sold online again and the inventory magically dropped to 35 in stock. So somehow they can sell it online, but I wasn't allowed to buy it in person while the product was literally sitting in front of me. It is honestly shocking how lazy, unhelpful, and unprofessional the staff is here, and now I understand why. Management sets the tone. When the assistant manager is disengaged, dismissive, and completely uninterested in customer service, it shows in every employee interaction. I will be filing a formal complaint with Lowe's Corporate because this was not a minor inconvenience. This was a complete failure in management, inventory handling, and customer service. Menifee deserves better than this. Lowe's Corporate needs to look closely at what is happening in this store, especially under Assistant Manager Brian. read more

I went to get some paint, while in one of the aisles, I was approached by what I thought was a Lowe's employee. After talking for a few minutes, I realized that he didn't have any knowledge of paint and he had to actually grab an employee for me. He started to pitch me for sun run, and I immediately lost interest. The ladies behind the paint counter were very helpful and knowledgeable and were able to help me. I had an additional two interactions with sales people trying to get me to sign up or buy something. I was immediately greeted by a woman behind a desk that was not Lowe's branded, as well as was approached by a Lowe's employee asking if I'd like to sign up for a credit card. Today that changed when I stopped by this morning and dealt with Ambrozia at the garden center check out. I came up to the register set my stuff on the counter and said "Good Morning" she was cold, didn't reply and just started scanning my items. It's sad to see what customer service has come to. on February 8, 2025 I visited the Lowe's with the intention of purchasing a glass screen door. We worked with Lizbeth Pesce the millwork specialist. She assisted us in picking out the right door. A purchase order was written up that included an outside contractor to come to our home and measure the door before the door was ordered. We paid the $40 fee and within two weeks the contractor came, measured the door, and after we went back to the store and paid for the door and installation the door was ordered. The installation fee was $509. Shortly after the door was ordered received a call and was told that the gentleman who measured the door calculated wrong and we paid an of $125 for the door and . I made it very clear that we had a signed contract with and dollars clearly identified. The young lady who that the store would have to be responsibility of the in cost. after the contracts were signed and payment was made it took approximately four weeks for the door to come into the Menifee Lowe's. I was the subcontractor for would pick up the door and schedule by phone. It took another week for the installer to call and he came to my home with the door. This is where the nonsense He began installing the door, using a damage, a piece of 2 x 4 it was the base for the threshold cover. He stated that there were parts defective in the box and he would have to come back after these parts have been ordered. The metal threshold cover was left at my front door. After numerous calls to Lowe's the installation company about why they could not finish the job on July 15 the installer came back and job. The gouge a piece of 2 x 4 was even though assured that this piece of wood would be removed piece of . My frustration with Lowe's is that they do not appear to have any control over the contractors that they hire after they have been paid in total. I do want to give credit to Lizbeth Pesce, she was fantastic in listening to my concerns and sadness about these long delay delays and did everything she could to get the job completed properly. We went through Lowe's (Lake Elsinore and Menifee) to purchase two French doors and two windows, spending about $15,000, which included installation by one of their vendors, Window Fits. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It has been nearly three months since our purchase, and we've had four appointments scheduled, each canceled because of repeated mistakes. They've either ordered the wrong windows or incorrect sizes, and one of the French doors and the windows did not match the other. The measurements have been wrong multiple times. Each time we've arranged to be home for these installations, taking time off work, only to receive a last-minute call on the day of the appointment to tell us something else has gone wrong. I bought a Maytag washer and drier from Lowes on 10/5/2025 for $1995.oo. We only washed 6 loads of clothes before the washer started to vibrate and bounce. I tried to check the balance, but it was OK. My wife tried to start it again, but the washer would not even start. I tried to connect with Lowes to get it repaired but was told I only had 48 hours that they were responsible and I needed to contact the Maytag company to get it fixed. Maytag is owned by Whirlpool and I tried to contact them but was put hold for 45 min. without being helped. I called back and used the option to have them call me back. I never heard from them. I went online to get service, and I went through the steps to get an appointment only to send it and have a box come up saying they had an error and for me to call the number that was the same as the one where they do not answer the phone! ( I tried 4 times over 2 days without an answer!! ) I had purchased the extended warranty for the washer, and I tried to contact them to see if they could get a repairman out to fix the problem, but they said that the manufacturer had to fix the problem because it was only 10 weeks old at the time They gave me the number to call and it was the same number that I have been calling with no response !! I just need to get a washer to use so I called a Maytag repair shop, and I am having them fix the washer for me. It is really bad when a big company will not back their products and not be available to even answer questions. I will never buy another Maytag and if anyone asks I will tell them why. My last hope is the credit card i used to buy the washer is disputing my sale intent and are giving me a credit of $1995.00 on my bill until someone can explain why I cannot get anyone to repair this unit !! I'm a union carpenter and my wife is basically a home decorator. We are always doing little projects to our home and I was always a Home Depot guy but over the years realized how much I love Lowe's in Menifee. They always have the tools I need to get the job done as well as the materials. I'm usually struggling on deciding from multiple selection. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help me. Rarely do I have to find help, if they see me staring around the staff approach me and ask if they can help. And as a veteran I love that they employ a lot of veterans. read more

Customer service at the Menifee store is nonexistent. We bought our new home a little under two years ago in the area and as a result, we have frequented this particular store often. My frustration actually began when we first moved in because we were attempting to install cabinets in our family room and we could never find someone to assist us. We ended up going with an outside cabinet company. Now we're back and trying to organize our primary walk-in closet and attempting to do it for much less than the price were being quoted outside of Lowe's. Again, the frustration began. I've tried both in store for assistance and consistently there is no one around in the store. I'm consistently told they are at lunch no matter what time I go in. I've even tested the theory by going in at different times. I've left several messages for a call back and once again this did not occur. I just called and was passed around and on hold for 10 minutes before I gave up in frustration. With the thousands of houses that have been and continue to be built in this area, it is beyond me. How Lowe's has clearly made the choice not to step up their game and higher a more customer centric management team to train their employees on the basics of service. I've hesitated stopping in to Lowe's or their competitor, HD, because so many times you can't find any one to help you. If you do find someone, they generally don't know what they're talking about, which is really frustrating. While at Lowe's I had a great conversation with Darren and Nick. He can't even return a common courtesy phone call to a customer regarding price adjustments for a customer who paid with their Lowe's Credit Card to receive the extended service on price adjustments when an appliance is marked down to give the existing customers the refund difference.
