Selected two new wall mounted outdoor light fixtures to complement our rebuilt back deck this week. Lowe's had a great selection of options! The Birchwood farmhouse/industrial style has a 12W integrated LED so no changing out bulbs. We're skeptical but hopeful. It took trial and error to find the right bulb for the Halyard to match the LED color/warmth. Best match for us is the GE Relax LED 'neutral warm white light' (most yellow colored box). It was super easy to return the bulbs we didn't like and repurchase another option. Unbelievable! Found out at 7:30pm on delivery day (day before Thanksgiving) that the Amazon delivery was delayed until day after Thanksgiving. I needed a grill for Thanksgiving day. Went to Lowes at West Cobb. They had a Blackstone in their ad for $149.99. Display in center aisle had 5 of these. Employee told me he could not sell it to me. I asked why, he said it was for Black Friday sale in 2 days and would be $99. I told him I needed it today and would pay the $149.99. He said the only way I could buy it was to order online and pick it up. I went online and it showed out of stock. Showed him that and he said he could not sell me one until the day after Thanksgiving. I hurried to Home Depot just before they closed for the holiday and purchased a nice grill. read more

If you have an online order to pickup it is a swift process; however, if you need customer assistance in the aisle that is where you will most likely run into a snag. Although everyone gives a proper welcome and an acknowledgment of your presence they are doing it while motion in action either they are walking away from you or they are deeply absorbed into whatever task they are trying to complete. The non verbal communication is clear that they would rather not be distracted or disturbed, but if you must then they will quickly brush you off into a general direction to go fend for yourself. This is why many people choose to order things online or from that large monster that starts with an A because if you are only going to be treated like a number it may as well be the number in line that leads me to my order. read more

I paid for a new entry door and for it to be installed. The sales associate told me that the payment was not authorized because they received a code that the bank did not think it was actually me making the charge. I told the sales associate that I had the app open for the bank and that it was showing the payment was already deducted from my account. He told me that it did not come through on their end and that he was going to put the payment through again. I told him not to charge me again for the door because there would not be enough funds to pay for the door twice. The sales associate still put the payment through again. This seemed very suspicious because if the sales associate claimed that the payment did not go through due to suspicious fraud charges then why did he think that it would go through this time, especially when I told him not to run the payment through the second time. He still did. I have filed a dispute and Lowes is saying that they are not disputing that I have not received the door and am not scheduled for any service. However, they will not return the funds that they charged to my account. I have been working closely with the bank and even the bank says that the funds should have been returned by now. I am planning to file a police report against the sales associate. Now the only explanation seems to be that the, associate stole my money. The bank says it is very rare, not even once a year does it happen that a transaction would go through on one end but somehow mysteriously get lost in cypher space on the other end. And also I do not think that I should have had to pay for the door in full and for the installation in full when I would not be taking the door with me and when the installation would have been weeks out. Someone that heard me on the phone with Lowes trying to get this worked out said that they had the same thing happen with a dishwasher that they purchased from Lowes. They said that they were charged twice for the dishwasher. Be very cautious about purchasing anything from Lowes that is not a product you are taking with you when you purchase it. read more

On August 31st the last day of the big Labor Day sale, We originally purchased our $3000 Samsung fridge. There was not any In stock at the store; however, we were told that there were 22 in stock at the warehouse. The delivery was set for 9-07-22 between 8 am and 12p. I took the day off to be home for the delivery. On the 7th at 8 am, I received a call from the automated system telling me that I had a delivery set for 8-12p. At 12:30, we had not received the fridge. I called the store and was told that my fridge was out for delivery and the store told me to call the delivery company. I called the delivery company and was told that they did not receive my fridge. I called the store back and was placed on hold and then another person picked up I told them the story then was placed on hold again. Then the line went dead. I called the store and they apologized and told me for some reason they did not get my fridge from the warehouse and they would be able to set up a new delivery time later and that someone would call me from the store to set up a time. 2 days later, I received a call from the store and the representative told me that the delivery would be on 9/15/22 between 12-4p. On the 15th, I received a call from the automated system telling me that I would be receiving my delivery between 12-4. At 3:15 I called the delivery company and was told that I was 16th on the delivery list. They informed be that I should have my delivery between 7:30 -8p. I requested a call 1 hour before delivery so that I could empty my old fridge. At 8:30 I had not received my fridge. I called the store and was told that the delivery company was running be hind and that there was a couple more customers awaiting delivery. It is now 10pm and I still not received my fridge. This is totally unacceptable. Additionally, this morning the delivery truck showed up at 7:30a. To top it off, the delivery was for a gas range. The paperwork had my address with the wrong name. Called the store and got the runaround and hung up. Called corporate customer service and they basically told us there was nothing they could do. This is unprofessional and unacceptable read more

Best experience in some time now! My husband and I received a lukewarm/no interaction at the Woodstock store and had to approach an associate at the Kennesaw store. That was OK. Everyone was busy with customers and stuff. However, the associate at Kennesaw was very helpful and polite. He was efficient and informative. We made our purchase and dipped with the quickness. Delivery was free, timely, well announced, efficient and polite. The Whirlpool fridge we purchased was priced competitively with the one's we saw at discount and liquidator stores who also charge for delivery. The liquidators had scratches and dents. I highly recommend saving time and energy and working with these guys. No complaints! read more

Lowes in Marietta is the worst I have been to order a wall oven from Lisa Bruce to customer service I never got my oven because Lisa didn't know what she was doing when the people came to my house took the measurements it was 25" 5/8 Lisa told them it had to be wrong it's 27"and told Lisa oh yeah that's it so supposedly she order it in November 4 (but never got a confirmation from Frigidaire). So when it was suppose to be in store on 11/21 she told me it wasn't in and she had to follow up on it she told me she had to reorder it again then after the holiday she told me Frigidaire got it and she got confirmation on it supposedly be in store on 12/12 which it was. So I got a call from the installation department it will be 1/5/24. So I was planning on taking a 1/2 day off on 1/5/24 but on that day the installation department call me that the oven they have was too tall and that I had to talk to Lowes which I did I talk to Jess which I explain everything to her all she wanted to do is refund my money and not save me as a customer no customer service at all. So I explain to her I will be down to get my money. So when I got down there it took 4 people to refund (now I didn't have the receipt in hand it was at home I went directly to Lowes) so when I ask for the refund of the warranty they told me since it's over 30 days you need to call and I said no you people need to call and get my money I don't know if they call because they gave a card to me with information on it and when I call I need my protection plan which I don't have supposedly it's on the receipt which again I don't have the receipt at hand it's at home. And when I asked Lisa Bruce again on friday nite what about the taxes she told me there was no taxes but I didn't believe her. So went home and again Lisa Bruce lied again she doesn't know what she is doing so when I came back again on Saturday after 3pm I told her they owe me my taxes and she told me we don't refund taxes so I told yes you do so she brought Jess from the appliances and after arguing with her she finally gave my money back of the taxes read more

And this time someone finally helped me, but I waited over 25 minutes. Its your run of the mill home improvement store. The main aisles are kept more open than Home Depot which helps not only navigating but actually being able to see what you are after. I have made plenty of purchases here over the past few years, their Valspar paint and primer is head and shoulders above the Behr product line. I bought an entire appliance set for one of our apartments, went Frigidaire, was ok, still waiting on the markdown the Store Manager for a dented refrigerator and that was 5 years ago! Lowes stopped accepting military IDs for discount and came up with a "My Lowes" card instead, it took 5 different trips for them to actually activate it.. pretty frustrating tbh. Overall its a really mixed bag, in retail, the recipe for success is People, Product & Presentation and when one hits, the other misses. Too bad.. read more

Man! I cannot believe the horrible ratings here. I love this Lowe's. The customer service rep, Aaron (who seems like he never gets a day off) is always smiling and happy to help. He knows where EVERYTHING in the store is and can quickly point you to right location. If there's a line - he acknowledges you when you walk up and assures you that he'll be right with you which I like and he apologizes for the wait which is always a nice touch. I usually wind up at this store because the Lowe's at the corner of Austell and Maxham doesn't have the particular item I need (out of stock) but I don't mind the 1 - 2 extra miles driving here because typically this store isn't as crowded which means there's usually little to no wait when you need a store associate to help you. The other reason I tend to shop at Lowe's versus Home Depot is because they offer a 10% military discount to all Veterans and active duty military personnel - and that's every day - not just on the Veteran's Day holiday. To be clear - I'm not a Veteran or active duty but my Father and my brothers were so I like to support businesses that look out for them! I've never had a major project purchase through this store because my zip code dictates that I use the Austell Road store - but I'd love it if they would make an exception. Lol. Called Lowe's this morning to inquire about purchasing pallets. Was told it would be .25 per pallet. Arrived & pulled under canopy as instructed. The pallets were smashed & broken (which is normal sometimes). The forklift guy told me that we could pull around back & pick what we wanted. Awesome! While loading pallets a disgruntled worker (who seemed as though he hated his job and the customers) comes from inside the building. He is yelling at us that we can't take pallets & trying to get the gate open. We tell him we paid for them & had even called beforehand. He demands our receipt, which we promptly give him. He tells us our receipt was for a "cut charge". We explain that we are not the cashier & can't help how she rung it up. He grabs (more like jerked) the receipt from me & says he is going to call the cops. We yell back through the gate "FINE!" At this point he is still yelling at my father, screaming he is going to call the cops on us. To my horror he flings the gate open & came through the gate in fight mode. I then have to run to the front & get the forklift guy his & his partner. The only reason this location is getting 2 stars is because of the forklift guy, his partner, the 2 ladies that helped at the back gate & the managers Elizabeth & Adrienne who straightened out this horrible mess. Never will we shop at Lowe's again!! It's just not worth & for those that are curious .....no, this was a racial issue. read more

I would love to give this store 0 stars but that's not an option. I have had many deliveries scheduled to several properties that I manage and all have been messed up. They do not tell you what your delivery window is until 30 minutes or less before delivery. If you are not there when they pull up they do not deliver, they do not call to see if you are stuck in traffic or on your way, they just leave. When you call the delivery person back, the third-party delivery person is rude and tells you it's not his problem. The company I work for has spent well over $100,000 at Lowe's over the last couple of years but we will not be doing business here again. read more

I shopped in the bathroom section and found clearance items on sale with sales stickers on them. These were a brand the Lowe's discontinued "Church Brand". When I got to the check out register, I was told that they put the wrong price on the clearance items and I had to pay the original price on them. Upon arrival found that my old stove was hard wired and that installer was not qualified to make the necessary changes from hard wire to plug. I spent over $5000 on a Bosch refrigerator with installation. The installer came to install and told us they were missing a handle screw and then left. They said they would order one without any other info like we will be back. They also assembled the appliance without removing any of the protective films, tapes, or foam from the shelves, ice maker, etc. Even the tape that kept the ice maker from moving was left but they turned on the ice maker anyway. I contacted the store, nobody answered the phone. When they did they said please hold. Finally I was told all the store managment and the appliance department were in a meeting. For three hours mid day they were in a meeting. When I finally got through I told them the situation they told me come back and they would give me the screw. When I got home I realized they gave me the wrong screw. I went back, got right screw, came home. I found it wasn't missing the screw, they had broken the handle by using power tools and over torquing. I talked to corporate, they focused on solving the problem. They engaged me with Bosch, and sent me a part. If it wasn't for them I would have told them to come pick up the unit and the reordered someplace else. Unfortunately it was the wrong part. I tried to call the store today. It took 1 hr to get to a customer service person. When I got them, they said the manager and appliance person were not available one was in a meeting the other at lunch. Who has meetings on one of the busiest appliance weekends of the year? Anyway still waiting. I wouldn't buy another thing over $5 from this store. The Acworth store sold me a new dishwasher and my experience was phenomenal. Sales person was focused on my needs, everything worked perfectly. I think the problem at this store is the managment. Again, when I called the store I was on hold from 1-3 hours because nobody was available. Maybe the manager should answer the phones if he/she can't get help. I had an issue with the wrong special rate term. We opted for 24 months financing and we were signed up for 6 months instead and since we were never given a receipt we didn't find out until my wife caught a pretty huge finance charge on our statement. I called the store and spoke to the store manager (very nice lady) who told me to ask for Andrew. After a couple of tries, Andrew and i connected and i explained the situation to him and he said he would look into it and get back to me in a few days. I got a vm from him a couple of days later telling me that the issue had been fixed, my term was changed to 24 months and the huge finance charge was credited back into our account which was all correct. Never Believe You Will Receive Advertised Rebate In July 2017 we bought multiple appliances at Dallas Highway Lowes in Marietta and the employee told us we would receive $250 in rebates. We eventually received $50 and after incredible run around trying to talk to someone we we were told only one appliance qualified and that was all we get. In Sept 2017 I bought 5 gallon cans of paint with ads saying $10 rebate per gallon. I bought 4 Olympic One and 1 Valspar. I told paint employee I had a history of rebate problems with Lowes and she clarified we qualified for $50 rebates. Another employee agreed. We followed the instructions to make claim on online. Today we received a card saying our purchase did not qualify. If you 'google' Lowes rebate complaints you find so many posts you might conclude this is an ongoing intentional scam on the part of Lowes, or at best mass-incompetence on how they administer the rebates. read more

Let me start this review by saying this is probably not the fault of this store but the fault of the company. And the lowes door department has been very kind and has tried to help. This review is about the door manufacturer that lowes uses. We ordered a louvered door for our laundry room back in January we were told that it would take about a month to come in from the door manufacturer. We received a call from the door department saying the door had come in damaged and that we have to wait another month for a new one to come in. I understand things happen so it was fine. We get a call this month saying the door had come in we borrow a friends vehicle as none or our cars are big enough. Drive down to pick it up and not only is it damaged again it is also backward meaning the louvers are the wrong way. I can't believe the door manufacturer would think sending a door that was not done properly was ok! Needless to say we are going to Home Depot. read more

Please learn from my mistake... I really needed someone material so I looked around and found it available at Lowes. I checked their website and it said there were 4 big rolls of the fencing material that I need. I headed the 40 miles from my house to get there based on that information. I had to rely on the website as calling the store is a joke, I could never seem to get someone to help me. So I get to the store and find the spot that should of housed the material I needed but to my dismay it was empty. I found a nice lady to help me locate it, and we both scoured the store looking for the 3 rolls that I needed. After wasting about 35 minutes looking around store we couldn't find it. I asked to take to a manager to see what we could do. He said the closet store was in Newnan, which is 66 miles from my house and I simply don't have the time to drive out there. Not to mention the extra cost in time and fuel. The manager I spoke with was trying to help me but wasn't getting anywhere so after more than and hour in the store I told him I had to go. We was going to call me if he could find a solution for me but I have not heard anything back. All I am asking for is to allow me to purchase the fencing material I need. I guess now I am stuck and will have to shop around to find what I need. Lowes is not a place I recommend, especially if there inventory keeping is that bad and management cannot help find a good solution. read more

Please remind your employees that the door closes at 10PM! Walked in at 9:30 needed someone to answer two questions in the paint department. I came in to purchase a gallon on WHITE PAINT. GUESS what didn't need paint mixed just shaken. My husband asked two ladies at their register who were busy on their cell phones if we could get some assistance. Over the intercom I heard the request. Young man came by said he didn't work in the paint department and left. Didn't even get a hello.. NOTHING. I get it winding down trying to get out on a timely manner is important to all. Ignoring your customer.. well I don't recommend. As we left the store same ladies on their phones and all one could say was "sorry, I couldn't find anyone"! We just received a notice from Lowe's that they will not be responsible for damage caused by one of their contractors. We had a new roof put in November of 2017. In August this year we had new siding repaired and in the process, they found the flashing on the top of the roof was not installed properly leaving a large gap for rain/water to get inside the chimney. This caused the wood in the chimney to rot and we had to have the chimney rebuilt. I find this appalling to say the least that Lowes' using subcontractors who do shoddy work and the Lowes won't stand behind their work. Last time we will be using Lowe's for any home improvements. This is the worst store in the metro area. Brought a stove from this store and they messed up the delivery time three times. When my stove was finally delivered the oven door handle was broken completely off. This store had no store manager or assistant on duty there on the Friday the store was delivered with the broken handle.Finally we got another stove two days later on Sunday. The employees outright lie and deny they can set delivery times. Of course they are the very ones that schedule the complete delivery.
