Disappointed!!! I purchased a grill at Lowes, Maple Grove, that was supposed to come fully assembled and be delivered to my home. However, the grill arrived not fully assembled. We had planned a gathering at our home and expected to use the grill today, but that was not possible due to the condition in which it arrived. When I called the store, the only solution offered was to have the grill picked up and replaced with a fully assembled one on the next available delivery date, Saturday, 3/28/2026. I understand that mistakes can happen, and this would not have been a major issue if I didn't have plans for today. Unfortunately, because of this situation, I had to go out and purchase another grill from a different store in order to proceed with our planned event. read more

Good evening, I just wanted to acknowledge an amazing experience I had working with Chad at this store. He was the most kind and helpful person I have EVER dealt with any any Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards etc. As a construction business owner I am constantly in different stores buying materials. And I rarely ever leave reviews of any kind. Chad came up to me in the flooring area and offered to check me out at his register. I told him I had to go to the front and he offered to push my cart up as well as ring me up. After that, he offered to help me load my materials in my car. Whatever you do, please keep Chad around! I will definitely shop at Lowe's more often because of people like him. If I could give this negative stars I would! Lowe's Maple Grove has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Took 3 visits to place our order and take our couple Thousand Dollar order because every time we went, the wrong people were working in the specific department. When we finally placed the order the told us 5-7 business days and our in stock items would be in and we could pickup. They made us have an installer come out to measure. The installer called us after he came by and gave us a quote of over $1,000, because of the seams. It seemed outrageous so we had another company come in to measure and they told us that was ridiculous and they are overcharging us. So we called back Lowe's and told them what the other company said and he said he could make it less and knock off around $200 off. Well why weren't we given that deal all Along? 2 weeks later they sent us an email stating that 1/2 our order was in, a week later we received another email stating our whole order was in! So we ripped up ALL OF OUR FLOORING and went in to pickup. Upon arrival the flooring wasn't there and no one could tell us why or give us a date and no managers were there to talk to. So we left, and called the next day to figure out what to do from their. We have now called 4 separate times and days and asked for a manager or assistant manager to call us back so we could talk to SOMEONE about our order and every time we have called they take our information and tell us he will give us a call right back and now it's been 4 days and we still haven't talked with anyone. So here we sit, with an order in that should take 7 business days, absolutely NO FLOORING IN MY HOME, with my 3 young kids, dogs and cats, and NO IDEA when our flooring will come, and no one to talk to. Honestly wondering where my $ went because we have nothing that we paid for. If you pay for something, the company should be able to give you some sort of a update or should have someone to ask about your order. Horrible! There is so much confusion at this store! Customer service is the worst! I needed of a snowblower. A storm was on the way, so I was pleased to see that Lowe's of Maple Grove had 2 available. I ordered it for a store pick up that very afternoon. What luck! I found find the right make and model so the 45 minute seemed worth it. About an hour after placing the order, I got a phone call informing me that the snowblower wasn't on the truck. I was told to wait for a phone call (in about 48 hours). An hour after getting the call I was sent a text message that my order was ready. To be sure I called the store to confirm. I spoke with a woman, and she confirmed that it was indeed waiting for pickup. I drove to the store in afternoon traffic only to be told once again that it hadn't arrived, but it would definitely be in before the weekend. I was again told to wait (don't call us we'll call you). A few days later, I received an email informing me that my order was cancelled! No call. No text. just an email that I could have easily missed (it was in my junk folder). I called to speak to the Manager. I tried repeatedly and they never picked up. Trust me. The negative reviews on this store are real! Don't shop here! read more

Day made and it's not even 10am thanks to stellar assistance from an awesome employee. Brent, you are the man! Walked in blind knowing exactly nothing about this stores layout, would have taken me 20 minutes to find these items but Brent was an exact 4 for 4 with precision down to which shelf from the floor up these items were located. Since I always wondered I asked if employer requires employees to memorize the store and Brent told me no he takes it on himself during breaks and down time to walk the aisles since the layout changes "every three hours" in his words lol I mean how true is that and why do big box stores do that to us. If I could give the so called manager Brandon and this store a negative number I would!! We spent $3000 of 3 bifold doors ordered in June. We were told it would take until September and we patiently waited. Finally delivered October 18 and 1 of 3 doors is the wrong size. Lowes claims it's the company... Masonite's fault. After repeated phone calls to the "manager" it's now November 7 and we won't have the correct door until January 6 (doubtful)!! Repeated lies and absolutely no customer service or care. I would give a -10 if I could. My email to them pretty much sums it up regarding shoddy work on a $50K kitchen remodel last year. They don't stand behind shoddy work when it's more than 1 year old.....I was 2 months past the expiration date!!! Well, I can't say I'm surprised even though that's NOT what you (Desiree) told me in person when I said it was over a year. You guys haven't stood behind and made right any of the screw ups that happened during my six month project.  This is officially it.  Lowes will never ever see another dime of my money and if I know of anyone looking to use a big box company for any type of home improvement (I'm in the real estate business) I will tell them to steer clear of Lowes as they hire contractors who do shoddy work then don't stand behind repairs. I also noticed the very critical review I gave your store last year has been removed from your the Maple Grove reviews.  I guess I'll just have to write another one and mention my first reivew was removed! While on vacation my daughter and I stayed at an Airbnb that was lacking in some areas so we stopped by this store for a couple of necessities. Upon arrival we found immediate parking in the vast lot. It was dusk and store was brightly lit and inviting. I stepped inside on a mission to get my three items. The first employee that crossed my path was cornered by me for guidance as to where I could find my things. He was very knowledgeable and gave me exact instructions as to where I could find item #1. I then asked about item number 2 on my short list and the same employee advised which aisle to go to and where to look on the shelf. We picked up the third item and headed to self-checkout nearby. At this register we paid for and bagged our purchase. Being a homeowner myself, I often go to these and other similar types of home improvement so I have lots of experiences to . I am recommending this location for small home goods as they have what you need,it is easy to find and the staff was very friendly. read more

Terrible customer service! I stood in the lighting section for what felt like forever waiting for someone to stop by and ask if I needed anything but no one ever did. There was a specific light that I wanted but there was only one left and the box was completely destroyed. I was actually shocked they would put it back on the shelf at full price with the condition it was in. I went up to the women who was working in the self check out for help but she needed to call someone over who could assist me. She tried calling someone over the loud speaker to help in the lighting section at least twice and still no one came over. After over 20 minutes of waiting while watching multiple staff members walk by I gave up, put my stuff back on the shelf, and walked out. The women at self check out didn't even apologize for the inconvenience just said "Okay" when I told her I couldn't wait anymore and needed to leave. read more

My true rating of Lowe's is 0 out of 5 stars. We purchased a refrigerator from them to be "white glove" installed. What a joke that turned out to be. When their "installers"--if that's what you want to call who they sent out--came by to INSTALL the fridge. The damaged our floor, and dented our new fridge beyond belief, on top of removing the flex door for some reason and then without saying a word, they just left. Nothing installed. Fridge doors completely damaged and flex door was completely off so we couldn't even plug the fridge in. Where a respectable company would have swooped in and gotten the customer a new fridge ASAP, Lowe's drug us through the mud like nobodies business, made us repurchase a brand new fridge at a much larger price (as it was no longer on sale). Forgot to send us the new fridge (we are now onto a month without a fridge). All the while not offering us anything in terms of an apology. When the new fridge FINALLY got here and was ACTUALLY installed, they tried reimbursing us the SALE PRICE!!!!! NEVER EVER GO TO LOWES!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more

Lowe's at Maple Grove has the absolute worst service ever! I ordered widows, doors and kitchen cabinets and appliances from them. The windows were delivered a month after their scheduled date and no one ever called to say they were delayed. Then the were delivered clearly damaged, like the shipment had been dropped. They agreed to reorder, but it would be another 6 weeks or so, so we had to use the damaged ones (with a price adjustment). After they were installed, one of the windows cracked from being dropped in transit (which they agreed to replace and install), one of the doors rattled from being dropped, the screens were damaged (which they were to replace), and a window screen was the wrong size. It's almost 6 months later and I have none of it taken care of. The items are in the store, but the store manager refuses to call me back. I ran into her in the store a few weeks ago and she promised to follow up right away, but never did. Called last week and left a message for her to call back, and she never did. Called today and left a message and no call back. Called again as she was leaving for the day and she refused to take my call because she was "off the clock". Additionally, they designed my kitchen including recommending the appliances that would work. The design did not work out because they didn't leave enough space for the downdraft (or any downdraft that is manufactured), even though I went multiple times to verify what they recommended would work. Had to do a return the appliances from Lowes, redesign the kitchen around the cabinets I got from them (at a great expense). When I told their kitchen designer (Kelly) what happened and that 9" isn't enough space for a downdraft, she said something to the effect of that happens sometimes. The management at this store is inept. Lowes should fire them all and start over. read more

Curb side pickup is actually walk in : My first time visiting the store. I live about 1 hour away. I know these are unprecedented times but the curb side pickup was SO bad it was impressive. No one answered the phone when I called the store for 2 days. I then drove there and followed the prompts of a fallen hand made sign to trigger my curb side pick up. No answer. Went inside and waited in line. Sounds like they are inundated with so many online orders. They asked if I wanted help loading my truck. I said yes but no one came. My husband went in and waited and no one was by the merchandise so he just walked out with it (could have been a total stranger). But you know with all of that it was actually quite entertaining of a day. I will take any novel human interaction at this point. That's why I gave them so many stars . read more

They don't honor contracts, lost all pertinent records for my install refused to acknowledge me because of this until I drove to the nearest store which is an hour away to provide my copies with no compensation offered after a month of getting no where. There is damage caused to my home due to incorrectly installing and here I sit waiting for them to show they care. I used them for all my needs but not anymore. read more

We Specifically asked before purchase, and was told we could return a partial box of flooring. Tried to return 6/10th of a box and was informed we could not. Management did nothing to help spite their staff misinforming us 4 days prior that partial boxes could be returned. Basically my experience was enveloped in fraudulent operations including theft of the customer (me) with no remorse or ownership of their actions by management. There are 2 other major home improvement stores in Maple Grove; odds are their are better choice and will treat you more like a human being. read more

Went and ordered grill online said the grill be assembled in one day so we waited couple hrs no call so went in. They told ya grill be ready in 2 weeks !!!! But yet they have a fully assembled grill the same one on floor but wouldn't sell it to us for their mess up. Poor customer service. Clearly their advertising of ready for pick up and free assembly on same day is completely false. Than not willing to make it right and give us the one on the floor. Never coming back read more

I stopped in here this weekend to look at ceiling fans. They seemed to have a great selection, and I was told that Lowes was the place to go if you didn't really know much about home improvement. That turned out not to the be the case. I tracked down the guy responsible for the electrical department and asked him some questions. But when I asked him to show me a few fans that would work for my size of room, design needs, etc. he asked another customer standing in the department how he could help HIM and proceeded to ignore me for about 5 minutes, then send me away to go look at fans on my own (with no guidance or assistance) while he continued to help someone else. I understand needing to help all customers, but the better way to handle this would have been to page additional assistance to the department to help the other customer, rather than abandoning me in the middle of my search. I won't be purchasing anything from Lowes as a result of this interaction, and disagree with the concept that it's a better place than competitors for those who are new to DIY. read more

I had the absolute worst customer service experience at Lowes. In a nutshell, I was given inaccurate information on an in-store online order and the credit card promotion that I signed up for, technical difficulties and wait time to get service resulted in a two hour-long visit which should have taken 30 minutes, and then when I called later after discovering I was given inaccurate information, I was told to come back into the store and they would make it right which involved applying a discount for my first purchase in addition to the 6-month financing promotion. I drove back to the store and after waiting several minutes was met by the manager I spoke with on the phone and an assistant manager. The Assistant manager said they couldn't help me, so I escalated the issue to the store manager who I had to wait 20 minutes for until he was off his break. The store manager reiterated that there was nothing he could do (which I find hard to believe having worked in retail myself). I told him that I would be filing a complaint with corporate which he told me would just result in them passing along the message to him so I wouldn't get any resolution. I called corporate customer support and after a 42-minute wait time, finally got to talk to someone. I asked to speak with upper management and was told there isn't anyone and their feedback team was as far as I could escalate the issue. She took my complaint then put me on hold for 40 minutes without checking back at any point to let me know she was still working on the issue. When she did come back she told me that the best they could do is offer 10% off my next purchase. The total call time was 2 hours. So, between a two-hour-long store visit, a worthless second trip back to the store where I again had to wait to even talk to someone, and a two-hour long phone call to customer support, the only thing Lowes was willing to offer to make up for their terrible service was a 10% off coupon for my next purchase. Obviously, there will not be another purchase as I will never shop there again. Reading other reviews it seems poor customer service is a systemic issue at Lowes. Home Depot has much better customer service, promotional offerings, and they offer price matches so don't waste your time at Lowes. read more

I know that Lowes is a huge store but I had the best / most personal experience there this past weekend buying a washer/dryer set. On Saturday I went to Lowes, Home Depot, and Menards to research a new washer / dryer. Lowes by far had the best service. They were helpful in terms of information and not pushy. In fact, they didn't try to upsell me at all! However, Menards had the best pricing (grand opening sale). I called Lowes and they let me know that they would price match local competitors. Armed with this information I went back to Lowes the next day to purchase my appliances. Not only did they match Menards, they also gave us an extra 5% off for using their credit card. Apparently anytime you use their credit card you either get financing (i.e. 6 months 0% interest) or 5% off. Even with applying for a new Lowe's card the whole experience was about 45 minutes. They have made me a customer for life! The only slightly annoying part is getting in and out of the parking lot. It is a huge lot with tons of stores so it takes a while and a few stoplights to get to the main road. If you can get through that part you will be a happy camper! read more

I ordered my products online with a gift card. I received a phone call this morning telling me my order was ready for pickup. I did curbside pickup because of the COVID pandemic. I called the curbside line 4 times and no one answered. I called the floor twice before reaching someone who put me on hold and transferred me to customer service. This took half hour to finally come all to someone. The woman told me it would be right out, 10 mins later she calls and says there is an error with the gift card I used and I need to come inside to use another card. This was suppose to be safe for me and now I have to come inside and risk my life. Of course I'm wearing a mask and keeping my distance but my anxiety is through the roof. I wait for assistance at the pickup station and let a young blonde woman know how upset I am. A gentleman asked me what it was about then walked away. The young blonde woman said he is going to come back with my stuff. He did not he went and grabbed someone else's things. Now I've been here for an hour waiting for someone to help me. Someone asked me if I had been helped and I said I don't know kind of? And then she walked away. I continue to wait for the gentleman to come back and when he does he didn't even grab my stuff he told his other coworkers. So as I wait I see employees standing around. 7 different people. I snapped. I said, "what's going on? No one is helping me, I have been here an hour now and there are seven people just standing around." They claim they were helping me but no communication at all. Apparently he did grab my stuff or it was behind the desk because then the blonde and the one who asked if she could help me bring it over to me. I'm clearly trying to keep my distance from everyone. I literally was crying and shaking because I'm terrified of this pandemic and I end up at Lowe's for an hour and half. They ended up not even having everything I ordered and didn't tell me that until I asked. And just said they didn't have it. Nothing else. No help at all. I tried calling afterwards to talk to a manager and nobody picks up no matter what line I call. I ended up having an anxiety attack in my car. I hated everything about this experience. Please don't go here. Travel far away and let this place shut down. read more

I really want to like Lowe's. They have a really nice selection of hard goods, but the service at this location is horrible. Here's what happened this time: Hubby and I go in to look at carpet (ready to spend a chunk of change!). Waited for a salesperson as we looked around, but nobody came by. Went to find some help. After finally finding a guy, his response was, "Sorry, there's no one to help you." That was it! Not, "Hey, I'll help you." or "Let me find someone to help you.". I ordered blinds from this store. I thought the order was placed because I paid a lot of money ( up front) for shutters for inside my home. I never heard anything as I was told 6 weeks. I ordered June 16 or so and never heard a word. I called and they said some stuff like it is coming and it is not their fault. It is now September 29, and I still don't have my blinds. No answers from Lowe's. When I call I get a different person every time. Then if You miss a call like I did from Dan, a marketing guy. You can never get him on the phone. You go through their phone system then push number he doesn't answer and then you do it all over again. Never getting to speak to Dan. Or anyone with any type of authority. I will never shop in this Lowe's again. I will tell everyone that asks my experience. Therrible customer service all the way around. read more

Worst customer service and the GM doesn't care!!! After ordering online it took 2 days to get 2 household cleaning products. I arrived for curbside pick-up and did not get anyone. I had called 5 times with no option to choose the front desk. I went in and there was no line for customer service. When I asked to speak to the GM, I asked him "Why have Curbside when no one answers." His response was " he has no choice to not have it and customers in the store take priority to serve than those waiting on curbside." I have only been here 3 times and 2 of the 3 times were awful. Its hard to find help unlike their orange competitor whose customer service and trade knowledge has proven far superior(I am in the Design/Construction trade, so know a little). To the GM--please work on organization and customer service and try to designate some of your staff for the curbside. The pandemic is not going away and there'll be more people needing this service. This is more about the products than the staff. Do not buy their Valspar paint - it is horrible. I have used Valspar for many years, and I was always pleased. But this 'new' Valspar Ultra 2000 / 4000 / Signature, etc (it's all the same) is the worst paint I've ever used. It's not paint - it's some sort of latex 'coating' that you can literally peel off the wall after it's dry. The paint dries so fast, so have to wash the brush you are cutting in with - frequently. It's just glop. Why any store would sell such an inferior product is beyond me. Additionally, I wanted a quart of semi-gloss oil based paint for a door. Lowe's doesn't sell any oli based paint. IMO they sell retail crap. read more

I recently had excellent customer service in the paint department- really impressed. Though, i was shocked at the cost of a gallon of paint as it was much higher than paint I've gotten from sherwin williams and HD. The store is clean and well stocked. My favorite thing is the parking lot is never packed like menards' is. read more
