Bought a shower head on line to be delivered. Lowes said they delivered it but they did not. They use a 3rd party company called "One Rail". Very bad reviews about lying regarding deliveries they claimed but not made and no proof. Bought a new stainless steal microwave from Lowe's. Not their fault, it does come with a frame kit. We had to rig up the old frame to fit the new range. We need an 1 1/2 boards to use as spacers. Duiwayne saw us looking lost. He helped us search through the boards, knowledgeable of what the had and not very hopeful. Then he said, "Wait a sec, Let me check, I'll be right back." Avoid this store at all costs. The worst customer service time and time again I have ever received in my entire life. Usually, you cannot get any help at all, the phone ring endlessly or you're put on enteral hold. We purchased custom shades for every room of our room and I was so excited for this to end up being the biggest nightmare. Months and months later, two incorrect deliveries, one delay and excuse after another, we finally disputed the charges on our credit card and explained we didn't feel we would ever receive what we purchased correctly and timely. We were told to get rid of the extra shades they sent us, which didn't fit anywhere, and now they are claiming we have to pack them all up and drive them to the store. I will NEVER buy anything from Lowes for as long as I live nor will anyone in my family. We have been let down over and over again in every way possible and they continue to cause the most stress I have ever had. We bought a new gas grill on 5/24/23 and requested assembly. was told assembly crew was gone for the day. It was early afternoon. It would be the following week before it was ready. Due date 6/01/23. We called the store 4 times without getting any type of answer. On the 5th call, we got someone who told us they couldn't find the order and would look for it. He finally told us that the cashier had forgotten to put it in the system but it was sitting in the assembly area. It would be next week before it would be ready. RIDICULOUS!!!'. I told them to forget it and I would pick it up and put it together myself. Piss poor management and training! Nobody even bothered to apologize or try to make it right. I came by my neighborhood Lowe's to return three plants that died on me. I was helped by Kyle at the customer service desk and he tried to help me out but since I misplaced my receipt it was hard to find the items. He then asked for Nathan's help. Nathan really took the time as well to help me out and we were able to find the exact date of my purchase and was able to do the exchange for me. Nathan and Kyle are wonderful employees. They really took the time to help me out, sincerely wanted to help me out even without my receipt. I highly recommend this Lowe's. read more

WARNING - DANGER Delivery person installed LG Dryer (4 prong) and connected HOT to NEUTRAL. MAIN Breaker POPPED. He then wanted us to TURN BREAKER BACK ON (RESET) while in SHORTED Condition (DRYER) was still plugged in. DANGEROUS and UNBELIEVABLE!!! He said he checked and it was wired correctly. (THE ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM on the unit clearly says otherwise) We refused to turn on the breaker while dryer was plugged in and causing a blow of the MAIN BREAKER. Delivery person (responsible for installation of this WASHER / DRYER) left with the Dryer not functioning. Stated that the building electrical may not be adequate for such a high power (Consumer LG) Dryer. We professional assistance and resolved the issue. The washer and dryer are now working correctly. THIS WAS A DANGEROUS and potentially LIFE THREATENING error that should NEVER happen. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! read more

They happily accepted our payment and then handed us over to an incompetent contractor who didn't order enough carpet, leaving us with exposed tack strips at the top of our stairs for weeks...and over the Thanksgiving holiday. Lowe's (again, who took our money) did little to help resolve our incomplete job...I guess liability was never a concern?!? It took numerous phone calls to the contractor and Lowe's to finally get a few more feet of carpet for the job to be completed. If I could give a -10, I would. Do NOT purchase a fence from Lowes. They subcontract the job out and only give a one year warranty. We purchased our wood cedar fence in Aug, 2015 (cost over $5,000). It was never put in properly (not straight) but we didn't complain a lot because it was a new fence. Now, 6 years later...it is about to fall down into the sidewalk. And actually it started leaning out last year, but due to Covid we didn't call for help (not that it would have mattered). I called Lowes on Oct 17, 2021 to see if they could get someone out to fix it and they said "unfortuately, there is nothing they can do about it" We are canceling our Lowes account and will NEVER purchase another thing from them again. My fiancé and I recently relocated to the area and of course, needed a local hardware store. Our first experience was awful. We went in to purchase a new refrigerator and the first one was delivered after multiple delays..with a dent. After going round and round over the phone, we went back to the store to get the issue resolved. A new (dent-free) fridge was delivered 2 days later. Since then, my fiancé has been reluctant to return, but we've still had hardware needs. Today was the final straw. We waited for 15 minutes for assistance ordering blinds and finally left the store without placing an order. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because I've always been loyal to Lowe's, but I don't think we'll be returning to this location. read more

No surprise the average rating for this Lowe's is 2. I'd give it a zero if possible. I bought items from the lawn and garden area today. The push cart to load your items on are in bad shape, yet they leave them in service. I loaded one with heavy bags of compost and crushed granite. It would not steer and kept going sideways. It's an even bigger problem when all the isle ways are filled with inventory waiting to be put on the shelves. It would seem this might violate OSHA regulations. I don't know if it does or doesn't but I do know Lowe's doesn't care. The checkout line was also an issue. I made it 6 deep when I added myself to it. All the folks in front of me had large loads. I waited a long time to check. They did open a second cashier but she only one of the 5 people in front of me. Had issues with an online refrig purchase. Called the Garland TX store for help. The store manager, whose name begins with "Strik" jumped in and went above and beyond to quickly fix. Background info: I made a purchase online to pick up in the store. After waiting for a few hours I just decided to go there and check on it in person. I gave the woman at customer service my order number, which she had to ask for again because she was listening to her ear pods I assume. She told me my order hadn't even been processed. She couldn't tell me when it would be processed. So I asked if I could just cancel that order and go back and get the item myself. She wouldn't cancel it because she said it will just close itself out. Here is why I am giving a low rating. 1. If you are in a customer service roll, TAKE YOUR EARBUD OUT. Customers feel ignored. 2. Put some sort of timeframe on the online/pick up orders. Give customers an idea of when to expect to pick up the order. 3. When a customer says they want to cancel an order, DO IT. This day in age, to all types of online transactions can be trusted. So when you tell me to wait it out, I'm worried that a million dishonest things will happen and my order will not be cancelled. read more

This Lowe's is the worse lowes store. The managers and customer services have absolutely no education in customer service and can barely understand whatever language that they are speaking. Today I tried to returned a item that was new with the original store scan tag. After the return desk people said that they couldn't issue a store credit due to no receipt, I told them That it was a gift and there was no receipt. I then ask why they are not issuing a credit so I can get something equal to the amt of my return. After waiting over a hour getting the run around. The manager from Nigeria that couldn't speak English well, and wasn't trained in customer service finally came to the returned desk. Ms Lwawwaniiaa or something like that said, they just changed their return policy last week, I asked them being a regular customer why wasn't some notice sent out about this change. I then said, that I would never shop at that particular store again due to their rudeness, no customer service. Now I know why this Firewheel store is rated with a 1 star!!! Their are better Lowes stores that have descent people that are employed at their stores. I ended up going to the Lowe's that is in a better part of Dallas and they were very nice and accommodating and issued a store credit, where I ended up buying a $1700. 00 gazebo, so glad to spend my money in a well run and better store. read more

Having a roofing business, every time we place an order for shingles, it's typically a 4-5K order. Last week I called to inquire on the price of some shingles. After being transferred 5 times, the gentleman said he would need to call me back. Still waiting for the call! I received the best customer service from Kevin in appliances! After receiving a damaged range, Kevin contacted several stores in the area to find a replacement for me. When I arrived to the other store (N.E. Dallas on Inwood) for the replacement, the department manager in appliances didn't want to help me... I called Kevin at Firewheel and he redirected me to a manager in the customer service department. Finally, the manager (Eugene), was able to take care of the situation and I was able to take home the replacement range as an even exchange. The next day, Kevin followed up via phone call to make sure I was taken care of. His customer service was amazing, and because of it, I will continue shipping at Lowe's Firewheel for my appliances! read more

I purchased 3 major appliances from Lowe's on black Friday. All major retailers in the area were running the same special but we chose to shop with Lowe's given our previous experiences. We had no problem getting two out of the three appliances. Our refrigerator was set to arrive at the warehouse 12/17-12/21 which was a week later then we needed it but we loved this model so agreed to this. We were told we would get a phone call to set up delivery as soon as it arrived. Well the 21st rolled by so I decided to give them a call. During this call we were told it was pushed to arrive at the warehouse on 12/24--nobody bothered to call to let us know it had been pushed. We were told, again, we would get a call when it arrived to set up delivery. Christmas Eve we were getting ready to gather with family when we got a call from the delivery men that they were "two minutes" from our house to deliver our fridge even though we never received a call to set up delivery. We agreed to wait and when they arrived they wanted to confirm that we purchased the "dented floor model" which we did not. They apologized and told us they would handle it and call us when our model arrived to the warehouse. We did not hear anything from anyone until this past Thursday 1/3 when I got a call during work that once again the delivery men were at our front door to deliver our fridge--with no warning at all. I let them know I was unable to be there as I was working and was told he would "try tomorrow". When the delivery man showed up the next morning he once again was delivering the "dented floor model". I went straight to Lowe's and went to the appliance department and asked to speak to a manger. The sales representative told me that he could handle whatever my issue was. I explained the issue and he said he would call around to see if anyone had any in stock. He proceeded to make phone calls but was unsuccessful at finding a fridge that was not already spoken for. He said he would look into this issue and give me a call that night. I received no phone call. I decided to go into Lowes again today to speak to the store manager and when the sweet lady at customer service called him he would not come up front to speak with me instead spoke through the customer service lady because he "recognized my name and the fridge was out for delivery today"--again I STILL have not received a call to set up delivery. Its very poor customer service that the store manager would not take the time to speak to me added to this nightmare of a delivery process! I could have gotten this same deal anywhere else on black friday however, since I chose to be a loyal customer I am being faced with this horrible service. I will not be making future purchases at this Lowes location and suggest you go elsewhere too. ***Update received call from delivery man today stating that he does not have our fridge and it appears they have not even ordered our fridge. I had not been too enthused with either Lowe's or Home Depot Home Improvement stores in this area, but this visit put this Lowe's on a whole new level. Usually I cannot find any employee to help me, but on this visit, every time I turned a corner I was being asked if I needed assistance. I had a very specific reason for being there, and knew where to go, so I had to decline their assistance each time, but if I was their 2 weeks prior instead of a sister location, I would have been ecstatic to have these offerings, instead of saddened to turn it away. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (1st mistake) in Feb 2019 with the extra protection plan. My ice maker has froze up on 5 separate occasions and they refuse to honor the protection plan and buy it out so I'm able to get a new refrigerator. They claim that 2 of the 4 visits don't qualify. Called again today and Pam refused to transfer me to her manager. I will never recommend Lowe's to anyone and I will be letting all social media outlets know of my experience. I purchased a sliding glass door from Lowe's on November 22nd, 2020. I paid in full over 2000.00. I still do not have my door or any knowledge of when it will be in and installed. I get conflicting information each time I call or visit or email. When I call the corporate office I am on hold for so long I haven't been able to talk with anyone yet. It has been almost 6 months since the door was purchased in-full and I still do not have it or any idea when I will get it. This is the store in Garland, Tx. I ordered a 32" storm door about three months ago. After two months of waiting for the door to arrive at the store, it took about a week and a half to actually schedule the install job by one of Lowe's' "contractors". The "contractor" came out and confirmed it was a 32" door. Two weeks later, the "contractor" showed up with a 36" door. The "contractor" states that Lowe's must've ordered the incorrect size and that it could take a couple of weeks or MORE to get the correct door, then we would have to reschedule with the "contractor" which could be an additional few weeks. Here I am over $600 out of pocket and no new storm door. This is why I never pay contractors up front. I even told Lowe's that when the asked for a prepayment. After they insisted that everything would be done right and warrantied for a period of time, this happens. You never treat any customer this way. It's safe to say that I will never higher Lowe's for any project nor special order any item from them again. read more

I have always had good experiences at Lowes but today I needed almost 10 bags of mulch and as I walked in there were about 6 young men no one spoke to me saw me pulling one of those big blue carts never asked if I needed help . One guy was beside me taking pictures of merchandise ,as I , an over 60 year old woman loaded all those bags by myself . Never even offered to help me . When I got to check outs cashier was very apologetic told her it wasn't her fault but it's a shame all these men never spoke to me or offered any assistance. I loaded them in my car by myself .
