Lowe's does not take care of their customers properly and their managers are absolutely terrible especially at the southwest Columbus store. They are the worst I've ever seen in my life. They make sure you will not stay as a customer and even when I called corporate, they said that they were going to call me back with a resolution because the manager was not taken care of me at the store.. Of course they never called back and I will never shop at Lowe's again and I will encourage every single one of my family members and every single person on social media to never work with them again because they do not care about retaining customers at all. I used to really like Lowe's but now they're just a bunch of snakes and just trying to pull a fast one on people and that's all they are if I could've left a zero star I would've left a zero star. read more

Shout out to Zach and Lucas for going above and beyond to help us! My sister and brother in law needed some bug repellent items that were on "buy back" - where the manufacturer re-purchases their items. The system still showed it in stock but we didn't see it on the shelves. Lucas located it in the system. It was in boxes above the shelves. Lucas promptly hopped on the forklift to retrieve the items. Both couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Awesome -- thanks! read more

I made an order on August 10 for two different items (A and B). For convenience, I schedule the delivery date for August 18 since it was the only day both items could be delivered on the same day since I need to be at home for collecting. August 18, they gave me 4 hours window between 8am-12pm and nothing arrived. After several calls, we were able to reschedule for the day after. August 19, it was given another 4 hours window but now between 8:30am - 12:30pm. This time, one of the item (B) was cancel and automatic reschedule for August 27. Of course I called and after another long wait in line, it was reschedule for August 20 but that the first item (A) would "definetely arrive today". I waited for the full 4 hours and nothing. After more time making calls and being on hold for several minutes, we were able to confirm both items for August 20. August 20, no window given this time but I received a call from the driver and he is arriving with item B, finally. But no trace of item A. I looked up on the app, item A was automatic reschedule for August 27. Here we go making more long calls. This time they said they didnt have the product so they are given the order to a different location. The problem is, it's been 10 days since I have made the order. I still havent received item A and now I feel like writing this because I reserved 3 days of my week for this to happen without working or getting paid because I work by production. Thank you to Sandy!! I came in yesterday with a in store credit gift card that I was having a problem using because I had a totally new drivers license. When I was issued the credit, my old drivers license was recorded with it and I needed to show it to use it. She offered to contact someone in corporate to see if it could be reissued and it worked. Thank you for offering a solution. You told me it was not 100% going to happen but the important thing is that she offered a solution. That's customer service. Order online and then curbside or in store pick up is always chaotic. Order is typically delayed. When you get there they look lost hunting for your item and it takes forever. After waiting 10 minutes for the tools associate on 6/19/2025. And watching the associate assist someone else who arrived after me. The associate proceeded to be rude and unwelcoming towards a simple request for a random orbital sander in the locked tool cage. After I disclosed I didn't have a lot of time the associate said I should come back later if I was in such a hurry. not only was he rude but he also walked my tools down to register ( he did not do this for the older Caucasian couple or anyone else only me) and scanned the tools himself. He didn't bother asking me if I was "ready" to check out, he didn't allow me to touch the tools he was incredibly rude and very discriminatory. Until this point in my 37 year old life I've never been profiled. I've opened a formal complaint with corporate because I was unfairly treated and profiled for the amount of money I spend in Lowe's. If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience with Lowe's Dublin, OH, was horrendous. Not only did I face rude, biased, and dishonest behavior from the staff, but after reporting it, the store manager, Liz Wozniak, has ignored my follow-ups for over five weeks. She initially promised to treat the complaint with urgency, but since then--complete silence. For a company that supposedly values customers, this behavior is unacceptable. I've been trusting this Lowe's for years for home and the yard. They always have everything my father, fiancee or I are looking for. My dad is like the Lowe's valuable customer if there is such thing he is that because he knows everyone there and they know him because he's there like everyday.They know whenever my father comes in what paint to make for him and primer. I recently just bought my lawn mower here and the guys were awesome at explaining everything to people that have never mowed a lawn in their entire life, aka my fiancee and I. We've always been spoiled because our parents or apartment area had lawn work done by companies they hired. Now I feel like I'm shopping at Lowe's much more than my local grocery store because it has everything I need for my home right now. When your spending so much time in a store like this it means your working pretty darn hard off to the side with home improvements. Today the gentlemen were awesome at the garden center and loaded the mulch into my car even though I managed to carry two bags myself to the car. Yeah, I'm building muscles but I try not to overwork them so I had the guys do their jobs!! That's what men are for right? I'd like to give a shout out to this Lowe's store. I ordered two plumbing items on line. Used curb side pick up for both to avoid going into the store given COVID-19 concerns. I ordered the wrong size for the second item so I had to enter the store to make my return and purchase the corrected item. There are social distancing floor markers, the return was touch free and the self service check out was sanitized by an employee before I used it. Well done! read more

We ordered a front door in June and we were told it would be installed in Oct. Due to COVID, we understood when it was late. They called with an installation date in Dec. we spent the day home waiting. No one showed up and no one called. We were told they accidentally gave us the wrong date. Door was installed in Jan. Walls around door were damaged and not fixed, doorknob was broken and didn't work within a week, and the door would randomly blow open throughout the day. We called and sent emails for 4 months before they sent someone out to fix. They kept telling us it was an issue with the Installers and we would have to communicate with them. We did not hire the installers, we hired Lowe's who should have taken accountability. read more

Yet another place I'm surprised I haven't already reviewed. It used to be my neighborhood Lowe's, and is still on my way sometimes. Yesterday I stopped in for some project supplies. They had what I needed; a good selection of options, too, at reasonable prices. I have gotten plenty of things here over the years: home project stuff, paint, garden stuff, etc. On the whole, I think Lowe's leans more towards appearance and slightly higher prices, while Home Depot leans more toward practical supplies and lower prices. But Lowe's has plenty of the stuff you need for projects large and small, and some inspiring displays. Sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you, but when I've asked, I've always gotten helpful answers. read more

Keep up the great work! Friendly employees come from a great management staff that respects and appreciates their employees. They need to work on that dark entrance though. We have been debating on getting new flooring on the first floor of our house and today we finally decided to go ahead and pick out some carpet and vinyl flooring. As we were walking to the flooring section, an employee asked if we were finding what we were looking for. Then right when we got to the flooring section, another employee asked if he could help us. We're used to being ignored whenever we go to another home improvement store, so this was pleasant! The man was extremely helpful and explained to us about the different carpets and which ones he recommended. The only reason I give this a 4 star is because we wanted to set up an appointment for a free measurement, but the one person who could do that was involved with another customer. We waited for about twenty minutes to talk to him, but never got to. Apparently that customer had been there for hours trying to verify and get his carpet purchase ready to go. I wish he would have taken a few minutes away from that customer to help us, but I understand how frustrating that must be. Either way, we'll be calling to set up a measurement appointment and hopefully the flooring install will go just as well! read more

I purchased a $300+ item that was over 150lbs so opted for $69 delivery. My home is 15 minutes from this location. My delivery had to be rescheduled twice because you MUST be home to sign for the item and they give you 4+ hour windows. Cool, it's almost 2020, just drop the item off on my porch already. If I paid for the item and opt for it to be dropped off on my porch, sitting in a cul de sac, I should be given that option! I am currently still waiting on the item that had an ETA of 1:15. It's now 3:20 and every time I call for an update no one is quite sure when it'll arrive. This is probably because this is a 3rd party delivery service ran by a call center where no one can actually get ahold of the drivers. I've gotten "it'll arrive by 6pm and also it should be any minute". Unless you truly have a day where you have nothing to do, don't pay them a dime to deliver! read more

Staff knowingly endangers it's guests. I waited patiently for a section to open up in the lumberyard. A Lowes associate opened up the section and told me it was safe. I entered the section and began to shop. Minutes later I was told that I wasn't allowed in there and that I needed to vacate. I told the guy that I had permission to enter and they would just have to wait till I was done. His response is that it would be my own fault if something fell and hurt me. I am no lawyer but I am sure if something fell and hit me it would be Lowe's liability not mine. There was a lack of care and respect for shoppers. They were more interested in stocking the shelves than assisting me, and getting me out of the way. Came back today after spending thousands of dollars at Home Depot instead of this place because of a not so great experience. I must say they have revamped the safety measures and the staff was extremely friendly. Very good customer service. I would also like to point out that their inventory of stuff is far larger than Home Depot. I like more options. Good job Lowe's management for fostering a safe happy shopping environment. read more

Went to Lowe's and had my items in 4 minutes. That's right, only four minutes. Menard's is not bad, but Lowe's sure did impress with service and variety of choices. Early June I was charged by Dublin Lowe's the cost of a storm door and installation. Prior to determining the cost of installation, an installer came to my home to take measurements as well as determine any unique features that would impact the cost of installation. On 6/6, the manager of the door dept called to notify assessment completed and I was required to pay cost of door and installation prior to delivery. I was in the Dublin store within the hour. I paid the full price and left. In a week the installer arrived with the door. He set up his tools, I went inside. Within 5 minutes he t Asked if I had tools to use for the nest doorbell. Full disclosure: I have been known to use a meat tenderizer to pound a nail into wall. My non tool box did not include the tools needed.his response, "Lowe's doesn't give me the tools I need". I told him to leave with the door. Long story short, Lowe's would install after I paid a 50% increase in the price of installation, because I'd already paid for installation I refused. Fast forward, the Dublin store has agreed to install at the price I paid. However, 7 weeks later, no door. I have talked with a myriad of customer service reps, each sympathetic. My mom had to call to see if they were coming, and apparently they mixed up the dates and clearly decided there was no need for a courtesy call. Whenever I need something for around the home or yard, I always am able to find what I need here. As there is tons of merchandise here, it is quite a large store. Good thing about chains is that they are usually laid out the same. Seen one Lowe's, seen them all. Whenever I have had trouble finding something, the staff have always been willing to help me out. Last night, I was looking for some clamps. After walking around a bit, I asked one staffer. She was not quite sure as it was outside her department, but helped with getting someone else that knew. Turns out .... I walked right by them earlier. Prices are competitive with other local hardware and yard stores. They just seem to have more of the products that I am looking for and like. Alrighty, I'm in the middle of a home renovation, which means I am up to my eye balls in appliance, flooring, etc. choices, and I was shocked at how helpful the staff was. I had six people (!!!) ask me if I needed help--which I definitely did--and I walked out 1.5 hours later with a great burden off my shoulders with all my questions answered and purchases made. Came in for a credit card promotion on my lunch break, filled out the app, response came back "unable to process application". So not denied or approved. Weird considering my credit score. Sarah behind the counter offered 10% on any store purchase (she was nice), so I grabbed a weed eater and attempted to check out. There all 3 credit cards were denied. Now I panick and call the cards, all are fine. Its the store, they have me try again and once again all are denied. The manager then refuses to ring it up manually. Not just refusing, but angerly and rudely. Telling me again it is me and my cards. So now I've wasted an hr lunch on good service that turned bad. Return from lunch to hear chick filet and kohls credit card machines were all down. Go figure. Won't return due to the manager at the machines. I'm sure she found out later the credit machines were down, but too late. Her attitude and inability to realize there was another issue already sealed Lowes' fate. read more

On 4/23 I went to the Dublin Lowe's because I had a minor plumbing problem to fix and took the opportunity to pick up a few other things while I was there. Not a good first impression with no sanitizer for the carts. No social distancing in the isles. Paint department had 4 employees behind the counter in a confined space with no mask, no gloves, no sanitizer and no service. After waiting 10 minutes to get a gallon of paint mixed I left. At 72 with a heart condition I was wearing a mask and gloves but no one else was that I noticed. Then to top it off two customer's were blocking the exit with their two carts as they visited. Again no 6 feet, no mask, no gloves, and no consideration. I will not return. read more

Lowes is usually the go to place for both my stepfather and I, my stepfather is in the field of remodeling/renovation, I am more of a geek (into computers and electronics) though I do follow in my stepfathers footsteps a bit, so I'm more of a jack of all trades When it comes to renovation or even simple home improvement, this place has got you covered, need some laundry detergent or cleaning agents? They've got that too My most recent time there, I went to get a replacement garage door opener remote, before going to Lowes, I went to places like Walmart and Meijer, neither of them sold remotes for any garage door opener, let alone one for my model, when I went to Lowes, not only did I find one that worked for my opener (a universal opener remote), it also happened to be the same model I had previously, this made the search for the remote extremely easy There are a couple small issues that keep it from a 5 star review though For what they offer, and their wide variety of products, I feel they would benefit from staying open 24 hrs, there have been times that Lowes would have exactly what I need, but I would need it around say the middle of the night, making me have to go to places like Meijer, Walmart, etc. which do happen to have locations that are open 24 hrs, but are further away from me, and most of the time either don't have what I need, or do have what I need, but not work for my specific situation, so I end up having to wait anyway until Lowes opens to get what I need Another thing is changing of brands or products, say for example you went to GameStop, and all they sold was the PS Vita and and the PS3 and the games for them, so you buy a PS Vita and a few games, later you want to get more games for your PS Vita, so you go to GameStop only to find out now they only sell the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS/2DS, and games for it, now instead of buying just the game you want, now you have to buy a new console just to play it, sometimes at Lowes, you have the same issue, if you buy some cabling supplies and the tools required for it, they sometimes change brands or products so there is no guarantee that the tools you bought before will work with the supplies they sell now, standards like keystone jacks do help with situation though read more

Went in with my baby to try to pick up some items for a home project and I had my toddler in one arm, cart in the other hand trying to maneuver it to check out, Clearly struggling! I recently sent a customer over to the store to purchase a toilet, and I stopped in to pick it up for her. I went to the customer service desk, And was told they were getting the order ready. After 45 minutes of Waiting for the item should be brought up, I was told it was out of stock. This however was not a one time occurrence... I have a literally had similar experiences every single time I walk into the store. I will absolutely never allow customers to purchase items from the store on my jobs. It's a Lowe's and it has all of the usual things that any Lowe's would have but what makes it a standout was the help! Every time we turned around there was someone offering to assist us in some way.
