LOCAL REVIEW: I had a great experience visiting the Clermont Lowe's. The store was clean and bright. I came with the specific purpose of getting two keyed alike deadbolts. I could easily find the bay where the locks were located. There was a handy doorbell style button you could click to request assistance. A man showed up (I feel terrible that I forgot his name) and he asked how he could help. I asked him about their service to make two deadbolts work with 1 key. He was unsure so he called their resident expert, Danyielle over to help. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She actually informed me that Lowe's will rekey at no additional cost if you purchase the locks there in the store. But it wasn't necessary anyway since she was able to show me how I could find two deadbolts that were already keyed alike. She was kind and educated me which I think is invaluable for any shopping experience for home improvement. Pro tip: call your Lowe's ahead of time if you know you'll need help with something very specific like rekeying locks (as I thought I needed). I had called multiple stores because they usually only have a handful of employees that can rekey. This is what lead me out of my way to this particular Lowe's. But honestly, both employees were much more helpful than I have experienced as other locations, so this location feels worth the trek for me. read more

Generally most employees are helpful when in the store. Recently I called the store to find out about two specific products in the garden department. The employee bluntly told me I had to go to the store in person. If that's the case, why do they even spend money in advertisement? read more

Do not use ARS Rescue rooter. Multiple requests for a copy of the inspection I paid for yet they do not provide. All it is was I had to pay to be added to a sales pipeline. They are selling me hard on a new AC unit despite my 7 year old unit working fine. Lowes ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will never "trust" Lowes again.. approached by someone wearing a Lowes uniform in one of their stores. read more

I love Lowes. BUT, I went to Lowes tonight Anna's now I remember why I but everything I can on AMAZON! I am sick and tired of these self checkouts! I have a job. These last thing I want to do is checkout and badge my purchases. If I had the stones I'd put half my items in a bag and walk out. read more

My review is of my experience at the Clermont Lowe's this afternoon where we bought steppingstones concrete blocks and 2 bags of rock and other heavy items when we checked out our cashier Carrie called for help but it never came so when a forklift guide came out we asked him for help he looked at our items and said he has a bad back ,and continue to help other customers that checked out after my wife and I . My wife is 70 years old and myself have had several back surgeries she had to load all the items on our pick up because no one ever showed. When I spoke to Felix the manager he said sorry we will" try better next time. There will be no next time we find better service at mount Dora and leesberg Lowes even though they are farther way.I've had my business account at Lowes for years and clermont Lowes is great if you don't expect any service after the sale. read more

I just want to give a special recognition to Dylan B from the Clermont store for an OUTSTANDING customer service experience. I was actually trying to do a self checkout with a gift card purchase and Dylan approached me to offer assistance and was kind enough not only to offer help, but to listen and understand the issue I was having using gift cards online. Dylan went above and beyond by taking me to a separate cashier and not only helped me with the gift cards, also offered to order the item that I was trying to buy online and is not available in store yet. I have to genuinely say that this is probably the BEST interaction I have had at Lowes, and the customer service experience that Dylan provided, greatly exceeded my expectations. Great job Dylan B! read more

We are remodeling our kitchen . We spent 4 plus hrs over 2 days selecting appliances. We were told everything was in stock, except the stove. We were told we could have everything shipped on 04/13/2024. Today we went to purchase before the sale ended. We were told we can't pay for the stove. They said it's policy. lol We went across the street to Home Depot. They had everything but the refrigerator. No problem! We paid for everything, and it all will be delivered on the 18th. Thank you Home Depot. Also it was about $450.00 CHEAPER ,with no hassles. Clermont Lowe's customer service has very little to be desired. read more

This Lowe's is fairly far from The Villages , so was a much more pleasant shopping experience than The Madhouse up in Lady Lake. Well stocked and clean. Too far to go to just to avoid going up north, but worth combining with other south errands whilst down this way. read more

I prefer Lowe's over HD if I have to go to a big box store. If I'm looking for basic hardware stuff tho I don't go to either if I can help it. Lowe's is clean, has good products, and prices are decent. read more

Waited 17 minutes at the pick up counter after checking in. Not sure what the point of the pick up counter would be at that point.

Lowe's turned it around this time. We didn't have a great experience with the loss of our patio furniture. However, with our new oven after 17 years, we are all stainless steel and the cats that delivered were professional and chill dudes. We are glad to have our new oven and though tonight is a grill night, the new addition to the family is so far boss and on time. read more

Went in to exchange my 5 gallon water bottles and as I was walking in 3 employees cut me off and walked in before me. Next 4 employees standing around talking and I needed help with the exchange rate on the water and had to interrupt them to get help. Then they went to the front by the exit near the water talking to another employee, they all saw me loading 3 -5 gallon water bottles and no one asked me if I needed help and barely moved over when I tried to load the water in my basket. No bye, have a nice day, do you need anything, thank you...just continued to talk with other employees!!! What happened to customer service and helping women??? I will get my water elsewhere from now on. 5/25/23 @ 3ish read more

I seem to have a standard hardware store experience. 4 stars. Staff is always around, helpful, and many registers to ring you out. Went to grab some TOUGH tape for a TV commercial shoot and they had plenty type in stock. The store was well organized and clean. I'm very disappointed in measures taken against COVID 19. Today customers and employees weren't wearing masks. Zero social distancing. In general not a safe store for me to spend my money. Even the store at the checkout lines fails at the social distancing. These are basic things our President has said we should be doing. Nothing more un-American than ignoring your President. read more

This was a fairly typical Lowe's. We went in and hope so finding some after Halloween merchandise left over and were sorely disappointed with the small amount they had left. They did have a ton of Christmas stuff that gave us a lot of ideas. While we were there we picked up a few items that we needed but have been in no hurry for. Employees wear masks and the store was well set up with dividers by the registers. I was surprised to see they had dividers between the self-checkouts which I have not experienced at other locations I have been to recently. This is always a dangerous place to shop because you can always find something that you could use. read more

I picked up 14 bags of pine nuggets and several bags had large holes and rips and I saw these bags hanging in front of the bags and I started to use them to stop the debris from spilling out and I didn't want this mess in my car and then I hear the lawn and garden Lowe's supervisor (DARRYL COOPER) yelling at me from another aisle because I used these bags and then he came over and actually took the bags out of my cart as if I was a child . He made such a commotion that five other customers were watching ! I hope this made DARRYL COOPER feel like a man because in reality he's a BIG LOOSER!. read more

When a store has reviews mostly of one stars there is a reason. We've had issues here twice with getting our military discount and we will not be returning. We talked to Amanda at customer service after the first issue. She told us to go to customer service if we had an issue again. This time the cashier told us she's "head cashier" and above customer service. We have a physical Military I.d. Card. I know we're just one customer to them but we spend a lot of money at Lowe's. We will not be returning. Shame on you. read more

I shop here all the time but I used the rest room today for the first time and I was disgusted. It reeked of urine and is dirty with paper towels all over. As l left outside i noticed numerous cig butts by entrance and trash all over the parking lot. Seems like they need a designated cleaning person to police area? I walked around for 30 mins with a dazed look just to see if anyone would ask if I needed help. Nope, not a one. read more

We needed something they had that was not provided elsewhere, so we ordered. The associate was exceedingly rude so I hung up and used the website. When my $600 product was not delivered, I called twice. Both times the phone rang and rang and rang and rang. Sometimes someone will pick up and say they are transferring you but you get nowhere. Really sad situation for a store that I loved in the past. read more

Gavyn who helped us load our truck is incredible. We had several bags of cement, 6 x 6 wooden poles, nothing light weight. He was very friendly and professional and even said that he wants to hear how our screened porch comes out. He needs to move up fast in this company! Rick in plumbing was also very helpful and so nice. He gave us different ideas of things we could use. read more

I've gone to 4 Lowe's today trying to find one that could cut the 1 board I wanted to get. None of them have saws that work. They each told me that the saw had been broke between 4 weeks-4 months. Don't you guys sell things like... saws? Are the repair people on strike or something? I'm going to have to return a good number of other Lowe's purchases related to my project if they get their act together. read more

Without a doubt, the most terrible retail experience of my life. I bought four cans of paint, and the woman who prepped it was on her phone the whole time, not paying attention. The cans weren't even pounded shut and spilled all over my trunk. I took them back and no one in the store could even offer an apology. Anyone can make a mistake but the way this store handled this was so embarrassing. Assistant managers Christine and Keith couldn't even offer an apology and expect me to pay for the paint that spilled everywhere. The management is so embarrassing. I cannot believe how poorly I was treated after paying top dollar for defective paint cans. read more

Ordered multiple appliances with promised delivery in 5 days. This location says they are in stock yet has rescheduled delivery 5 times in 2 weeks. They promise to deliver again, nearly 3 weeks after purchase, with no reason for missing each prior scheduled delivery. Each missed delivery we have to call them, they don't call us. Why should they? They already have the $$$$$ spent and can string customers along indefinitely with complete absence of customer service and never-fulfilled delivery promises. Would give Lowe's zero stars if it was possible. If you need anything delivered for your home, do yourself a favor and don't shop here until this location's management does their job and fixes their delivery problems. read more

I have had mostly good experiences here. Good deals on Black Friday and efficient service for the most part. Dinging them a point for when my dad and I loaded up all this plywood (Lowe's employees walked by and waved, said hello) only to be told a few minutes later that their saws have been out of order for a while. I mean, who's got the means to take home an huge 8' x 6' board? So, didn't buy the wood from them, went to the other place. read more

Customer service is horrible. Long lines and no manager around to help to open more registers. I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

Beware! I purchased a range from this store with cash. The company Lowe's uses to deliver their appliances will not deliver it to me. After a back and forth blame game that has gone on for a week now, Lowe's refused to give me my cash refund until that delivery company emails them that they have it back in their warehouse. This is certainly not how you treat a loyal customer tjat spends a lot of money in your store! read more

Ugh! This store is so frustrating! Nothing is ever priced right. The price on the shelf under the item you want is never the right price because it was stocked in the wrong spot. Always double check as you check out. The app will claim to have an abundance of an item and no one can ever locate it in the store. It shouldn't be this hard! Get it together Lowe's! We will be taking our business across the street to Home Depot. The Lowe's sale price is usually higher than the regular price for the same item at Home Depot. Again, why?! read more

Rows and rows of parts, tools and supplies for the home and garden in an order that only my husband seems to understand. I am lost but he knows every inch of this store and its competitor's store. This particular Lowe's is very clean and orderly. It is set off the road with a non-descript sign, so you have to look for it. We generally can find what we need here. I really do love their appliance department - if you are have good credit and it is during their promotion period, you can finance for six months for free. read more

I shop Lowe's quite frequently as I am in the construction industry. Today was the first annual last time I will ever be shopping at this specific Lowe's. Every employee inside of the store seems like they hit their life and they had no idea where they were supposed to be. It took me nearly 15 minutes to reach the front of the line at the customer service desk. I was exchanging a craftsman tape measure for a new one as my old one had broken on the job today. The lady that did the exchange is very unpleasant to deal with and made me feel like that I had done something to the tape measure to cause it to break. It was a very unpleasant experience read more

At least 4 times in the past year and a half I've TRIED to take them up on hiring them to install their ceiling fans. Tried- as in they have signs offering the service but refused to let me do it. I was sad today to see they no longer sell the fans I've been trying to buy. It says you can only set it up when you purchase. So after at least 2 associates in the section tell me "it's too expensive. Do it yourself." I leave without buying one because it says I have to do it at purchase. Today the guy once again said "it takes 20 minutes do it yourself." I said it's 18 feet high, I'll pay it! I've done everything else myself, flooring myself, tile (install and removal) to name a few. I am not doing this myself. He then told me to "hire someone off Angie's list". Why on God's green Earth do you advertise offering a service you refuse to let someone use? I've done several renovations in other States. I have always loved Lowe's. This one really has killed that love for me. read more

Lowe's you know your running a special so plan accordingly don't just have 1-10 at this price, or set a limit of the amount you can purchase so others can also enjoy the savings. This will be my home store!! A washer and dryer was purchased Nov 27 and they keep delaying delivery due to the vendor. I called the store directly and spoke with Angie who followed thru to see what the issue was on the delays, explained and further researched to see if it could be delivered earlier than the last date promised! Angie said she would call me back, she did! She set up delivery for the next day! She made sure accessories where in the truck, the drivers said they weren't and when I called and spoke with Angie she talked to them and sure enough they were on the truck!!! I must say she has restored my faith in Lowe's and in customer service!!! Thank you Angie!!! read more
