Customer service is horrible. Buyer beware. They told me explicitly: "we don't do contracts anymore" when I signed up a new line and purchased a new phone during a "promotion" for the phone. Turns out they most certainly DO have contracts because when I went to pay off the phone, they said they wouldn't honor the price I was quoted for the phone because the "promotional plan" only applied if I kept the line for 36 months AND paid off the phone over 36 months. No mention of a pre-payment penalty, no clarification that the PRICE of the phone was tied to the line AND the 36 month plan even though I SPECIFICALLY asked about that (as I'm aware that's the way it used to be done by phone companies). I was pleasantly surprised and believed the salesman so I bought the new phone. Big mistake on my part!!! Never did I imagine they would outright lie to customers when asked a specific question. The Asst. and General Store Manager's both told me to refer to my "contract" (not the document I was given at the time of sale, but the one that was emailed, days later, without my signature. Staff member Dave had the audacity to tell me to "tone is down" when I complained about the appallingly bad service I had received from tech support, after more than 6 hours and 3 days on the phone with outsourced tech support. He then told me to not "yell" as an attempt to try to intimidate me into submission. I guess he has never dealt with an assertive woman before. I also truly believe he would have never dared to talk to me that manner if I had been a man. Go anywhere else for service, better yet, do not get service with AT&T ever!!! read more

We were told by an AT&T rep. to return new Streaming Boxes to an AT&T store. I took them here. Nate (the so-called manager) & Israel said that I would need to bring my husband's D.L. & then they MAY accept the return. WHAT??? Or call Customer Service & mail them back. When I asked for help to reach Customer Service, Israel heard me complaining on the phone to my husband about the situation and said that he wouldn't help me to connect with Customer Service. I went a couple of hours after i got the notification to give them enough time, I came to the store and I had to wait another 30 mins. Do not give these reprehensible human beings your patronage or money. They are bullies and incredibly misogynistic. I implore you to NOT waste your time here. I purchased a new iphone online (to be picked up at this store) May of 2021. I received notification that the phone was ready, went to this store at approx 6pm, got the phone, went home. At around 8pm, I opened the iphone box to begin the process of transferring all of the data from old phone to new phone and disabling the old phone. Except...the new phone never turned on. EVER. It was a dud right out of the box. I called corporate ATT (at approx 8 or 9 pm) and after wasting my time trying to "troubleshoot" the person with whom I was speaking finally determined that indeed, the phone was a dud. They provided me with a return confirmation number and I was told to just go back to Clermont ATT the next morning for an exchange. I charged it all night thinking *perhaps* it just needed a good charge. Nope. I went to Clermont ATT first thing in the morning- barely 12 hours after I picked the phone up from that store and provided the two male workers there with my return reference number and all of the original packaging. They attempted their own troubleshooting efforts and also determined that the phone just doesn't work. And that is when the two men turned their attitude from *barely* helpful and pompous to downright rude, misogynist gaslighting jerks. They told me it was not their problem, that I would need to return it to the apple store- even though I had purchased it from them just 14 hours before. They insisted that I need to call ATT if they wanted this rectified. So I insisted that I be given the opportunity to call on THEIR phone. After a lengthy discussion with the ATT representative, I placed the phone call on speaker and the male workers heard for their own ears that it was their obligation to return/exchange. They then stood each on either side of me, worked to intimidate and bully me and spoke in a filthy patronizing manner eventually kicking me out of the store when I told them that they HAD TO return or exchange the phone as per the ATT representative. I was treated in the same manner by two misogynistic male workers at Winter Garden. My husband and I then spent over 24 hours of the next two days trying to get a dud phone returned. Once ATT finally provided a return label (which- by the way- I was not refunded the $1,000 until July), an inquiry on corporate ATT's end was opened up regarding the deplorable customer service the employees at this store exhibited. The customer service we received today was above and beyond! I took my mother in because she needed some help with her bill. We were greeted immediately. The gentleman that helped my mother was extremely helpful, kind and patient . ISREAL gave her top notch service and did it all with a smile . Thank you for all you did in taking care of my mom today. Came in here today to get my grandmother a new iPhone, was helped buy a guy named Corey on getting her a new iPhone 11, everything was fine at first then when we started to get into setting up her new phone he seemed very agitated that he had to help us set it up and the fact that my grandma who has beginners dementia couldn't remember her iCloud information, when I helped her reset her password to get the process moving along he made several rude remarks and gave quite an attitude throughout the phone buying process, on the way out I caught him shaking his head and rolling his eyes as a sign he was relived we were leaving! Been to this location a few times. Upgrades, questions, and to purchase accessories. They are on it. Sometimes they are busy so you may have to wait. Be patient, they devote their time to each customer, just because you're standing there waiting isn't going to prompt them to rush. I wouldn't want that if I was sitting in that chair. Very knowledgeable and great about filling you in on new promos and deals going on. My recent visit with Andrew to upgrade my phone was excellent. Highly recommend this location if one is needed. read more

On vacation, had the time to exact warranty exchanges, they would not exchange accessories purchased from ATT via my account. I was only granted partial exchange. I called my home store, explained the situation. I was told that some exchanges are to the discretion of the person who assist you, perhaps making those exchanges would've affected their metrics. He went on to say to hold my exchanges until I return and his store would do it as it's best to satisfy the customer. read more

The lady at the door today was extremely rude, unhelpful & very disrespectful. Absolutely no customer service skills!!! I arrived to the store with my family all I had was one simple question, she didn't even take the time to hear what I had to stay, told me take the phone to the Apple store if I had a problem.....seriously! I just brought the phone at this store less than a week ago for my 12 yr old son, sending me to Apple almost an hour drive is unfair without having someone at the store take a minute to check the phone. I requested to speak with the manager, it took him one second to figure out what my son did wrong! Again if she would have taken a second to listen to me or allow me to tell her what I needed instead she was un-knowledgable & unhelpful. Sadly I was so upset at her behavior in front of my children that I failed to get her name wish I had it to post on message. One star is too many for these folks. This has to be the WORST AT&T store I have ever visited in doing business with AT&T for 30 years. Bought a $600 phone there last week. They refused warranty on the phone even after corporate said they would replace it. The manager I dealt with was EXTREMELY arrogant and rude and even laughed at the issue. LG agreed to fix the phone at no cost if I ship it to them but I should have not had to contact them or go through this. This store needs a few lessons on customer handling skills or maybe a manager that cares. I would also advise to stay away from the LG G3 phone as the screens crack without being dropped.
