What was a big deal is I was getting an upgrade to and iPhone 12 and the man helping me - I wish I'd caught his name - royally destroyed my phone. He somehow put in two activation requests? And therefore when I got home my new phone wouldn't do anything remotely phone related aka make calls, send texts, etc. The store was closed at that point so I couldn't go back. Cue me then calling Verizon and spending nearly an hour on hold with them... the first person was pretty useless and said I wait until the next day and go back to the store, we went back and forth a few times until eventually she transferred me to an actually helpful person who said that he would fix it but it would take a few hours and at ~some point throughout the night my phone would activate. It does work this am thank goodness, but no thanks to the workers in this store. Thanks goes to the IT guys at Verizon corporate. And even the people I spoke with on the phone were like "wow, this guy really messed up your phone" soooo Update: two days later it's not working again - so I'll be going back to this store attempt to remedy the problem. Second update. Changing my review to two stars because the manager fixed it all up for me today and was very kind... doesn't negate the four days I've spent being annoyed & not having a working phone though.

In 2024, had to come in recently to get my Z Flip 5 screen protector replaced and this experience was just undoubtedly disappointing compared to last year. I could only assume the employees last year no longer work here or something because customers would come in and a line will form yet no sign of acknowledgement was made and there were at least 5 more people in the back. The length process was undoubtedly shown. After patiently waiting after being told it would be an hour, turned into three hours later, I got my phone back only for the bottom left corner of the screen protector to be crinkled and wrinkled with a nail print indentation.... Like what? It was visible and yet the sloppy work was given to me past the counter. Smh. I brought it up and the tech that came from the back was not too pleased that I asked for it to be done again. As they didn't have a screen protector in stock, they made a file in the system that I needed the work to be done and they mentioned either the following Tuesday or Wednesday they will get a shipment and they would call me. I called Tuesday and they said no stock came and that once the screen protector comes in, the system will notify my work order in which they would call me. Come Sunday, I called and they said they had it in stock. Smh. I came, told a two hour labor turned three and half hours and finally got my new screen protector properly installed with no sign of scratches, crinkles, wrinkles or tampered. I work in retail and customer service so I was patient throughout the whole ordeal and showed no hostility unlike the other patrons, but I don't blame them as they were paying so this review would've been 1 had Samsung not covered it under warranty.

Needed a new part on my phone having to do with the charging port. I stopped at Techy Clermont to…read moresee if they could repair/install a new piece. A very nice tech named Rimon checked the phone and said he could repair it but he would have to order the part. I was told it would be delivered to his shop by 2:00pm the following day, but I should call to make sure it arrived. As requested I called Rimon around 2:00 and the part had arrived so I headed to the Techy location inside the Clermont Walmart store. Rimon was finishing up with another customer but was ready within minutes to fix my phone. It only took about 10 minutes and Rimon had removed the broken piece and replaced it with the new part. He checked to make sure it was working as promised asks if did. The fee for the part and service was $40.00 which I gladly paid. Rimon made the process from ordering the part and replacing it very easy. If you need an urgent repair, Techy is the place to go. And more importantly, Rimon is a great "Techy" and he is excellent at what he does. Five star service from him!
