I was not impressed with repairs to 1 of the phones I took in were unsatisfactorily completed; I did not realize this until some days later when I changed the phones wallpaper - the crack was small & difficult to see. The screen of my Macbook Pro cracked while wiping it with my sleeve (never do this). I called around in a panic getting several estimates from people between Clermont and the UCF area and every quote was in the $300 range and estimated needing my laptop for a week or more. They also stated needing to take apart my entire computer. I'd look up the prices on eBay and the screen sold for about $16, however, didn't have the confidence to try it myself. Also, I'm in law school and had no time, nor money for that. I found Device Doctorz by chance. I took my wife's iPhone 5c in for an intermittent "Home" button problem. A couple hours later I got a text from them stating that the phone had been repaired and the total came to $64.19. When we went to pick up the repaired phone the technician informed us that, after closer inspection, he found that the screen had slightly separated from the case and that reseating the screen solved the problem. Two weeks ago we needed a repair on a four-year-old HP laptop that cracked and came apart adjacent to a hinge and power switch. The unit ceased to operate. I didn't see the computer for another 2 weeks and they wouldn't return my phone calls or emails to tell me the status. Weeks later, the computer died again. Again, they sent it out and wouldn't return calls or emails to let me know what was going on. They had it for three weeks before deciding they couldn't fix it. They gave it back and promised a refund. When no refund showed up on my credit card, i called again. They said they couldn't process the refund via their credit card system and would send a check.
