I was not impressed with repairs to 1 of the phones I took in were unsatisfactorily completed; I did not realize this until some days later when I changed the phones wallpaper - the crack was small & difficult to see. I returned to show this to the company & was told that I had dropped the phone. Seems as tho someone thought I was trying to get a repair without paying for it. However, they had just worked on the phone & knew I used a warranty service to cover repair costs. I was less than impressed with the response received from the manager because I thought he could have been nicer in the way he talked to me. He suggested I return when someone else was in. The screen of my Macbook Pro cracked while wiping it with my sleeve (never do this). I called around in a panic getting several estimates from people between Clermont and the UCF area and every quote was in the $300 range and estimated needing my laptop for a week or more. They also stated needing to take apart my entire computer. I'd look up the prices on eBay and the screen sold for about $16, however, didn't have the confidence to try it myself. Also, I'm in law school and had no time, nor money for that. I found Device Doctorz by chance. They somehow were able to understand, when no one else did, that it was not the LCD but the actual glass screen that had cracked and were able to repair it within an hour (after ordering the piece) for $79 bucks. I took my wife's iPhone 5c in for an intermittent "Home" button problem. A couple hours later I got a text from them stating that the phone had been repaired and the total came to $64.19. When we went to pick up the repaired phone the technician informed us that, after closer inspection, he found that the screen had slightly separated from the case and that reseating the screen solved the problem. I didn't see the computer for another 2 weeks and they wouldn't return my phone calls or emails to tell me the status. Weeks later, the computer died again. Again, they sent it out and wouldn't return calls or emails to let me know what was going on. They had it for three weeks before deciding they couldn't fix it. They gave it back and promised a refund. When no refund showed up on my credit card, i called again. They said they couldn't process the refund via their credit card system and would send a check.
