I've had my Z Flip 4 screen protector replaced last year and the process, workmanship and professionalism was all there! Service was just incredible in 2023! In 2024, had to come in recently to get my Z Flip 5 screen protector replaced and this experience was just undoubtedly disappointing compared to last year. I could only assume the employees last year no longer work here or something because customers would come in and a line will form yet no sign of acknowledgement was made and there were at least 5 more people in the back. The length process was undoubtedly shown. After patiently waiting after being told it would be an hour, turned into three hours later, I got my phone back only for the bottom left corner of the screen protector to be crinkled and wrinkled with a nail print indentation.... Like what? It was visible and yet the sloppy work was given to me past the counter. Smh. I brought it up and the tech that came from the back was not too pleased that I asked for it to be done again. As they didn't have a screen protector in stock, they made a file in the system that I needed the work to be done and they mentioned either the following Tuesday or Wednesday they will get a shipment and they would call me. I called Tuesday and they said no stock came and that once the screen protector comes in, the system will notify my work order in which they would call me. Come Sunday, I called and they said they had it in stock. Smh. I came, told a two hour labor turned three and half hours and finally got my new screen protector properly installed with no sign of scratches, crinkles, wrinkles or tampered. I work in retail and customer service so I was patient throughout the whole ordeal and showed no hostility unlike the other patrons, but I don't blame them as they were paying so this review would've been 1 had Samsung not covered it under warranty. read more

worst customer service. I brought my phone in for a screen repair that is under warranty. Phone was initially fixed, but when I called to pick it up I was told they were waiting for google to approve it. I called google got the approval, showed them, at first it was okay, then it was no I still owe 279.00. After much back and forth They put the broken screen back on and gave it back to me. So after 4 1/2 hours of waiting, plus a 2 hour round trip. Nothing was done. Not sure if this place really makes money because repeatedly people came in and were given excuse after excuse as to why an item couldn't be fixed. Besides the rudeness from "workers" and lack of truth , just don't waste your time. read more

I never thought that I would be the one to drop my phone in the toilet but alas, here we are. I dropped my Iphone X in the toilet for less than 10 seconds and immediately noticed that my phone started to lag and did not work. (Water Resistant my butt!) My FaceID was not recognizing me and my phone was stuck in a constant boot loop. I decided before I buy a new phone, I might as well check out UbreakIfix to see if there was anything that could be done regarding the rebooting. When I took it there, the guy at the counter was super nice and they said they would be able to at least open it up and do a free diagnostic. I went ahead and left it there and a couple hours later I got a call from them. They were able to clean out some of the water damage but also let me know that my screen was starting to come off due to it. (I'm not sure if that is the case but oh well) I decided to pay the extra money in order to get a new screen and was given my phone back later that day. I paid about $150 for the screen and even though they gave me a LCD screen instead of a LED screen, the phone works fine and it will hold out until I get a brand new one. Absolutely horrible. They lied to me, they broke my device and still made me pay. And I left with less than what I came with. Nearly two months before this ordeal was settled, I came in with a new 2dsxl with a cracked top screen. They told me it would take about a week to repair it and would cost about $130. That sounded perfectly acceptable, so I left the system with them and waited. After a month of having to keep calling and being told that that they were still waiting for the part, I got sick of it and just took the system back. If that is where the story ended, I wouldn't be writing this review, but it only got worse from here. I had discovered the reason I believe that it took so long, I turned the system on, when I pressed a completely unrelated button the power shut off. I believe this mishap occurred early on, and they tried to fix it while giving me the runaround for a month, stalling to figure out how to fix it, I have no proof of this, but that's what I believe. So I came with my father, and met Estabon the store manager, and Misael lead technician. I told them what had happened, and they kept shifting the blame to some phantom technician, whose name I had never got, and who allegedly was no longer working there. I don't believe any of that, but that's what they said. I asked what they were going to do for me, and was told they would fix the screen, and try to fix the other issue for free, and if they failed they'd replace the whole console. As I said, I brought my father with me, and he said it doesn't seem fair that they should have to pay for the whole console. I don't know why he said that, and it came back to bite me later. Two weeks later I met with Misael he tells me that small connectors in the system had broken, that's what caused the power issues. He first says that this is because I didn't take care of my system. I said it worked fine before I brought it. He then shifted his argument to say that it was because the console was so old. This makes no sense, as the system was released in 2017, not nearly enough time for the materials to become so brittle that they can't be worked with. He refused to admit that it was anything they did. In the end, he told me that he couldn't fix it. I asked him again what he was prepared to do, he told me he would buy a used one on ebay, and that I would pay half the cost. I asked him how he thought that was fair that I would still be paying to fix his mistake, and his response was "this is a business, we still need to make money". Again I was unhappy with this answer, and he proceeded to quote my father to me, holding me to what he said. He and Estabon refused to budge or offer any reparations for breaking my device, they pressured me and left me no choice but to either accept, or be stuck with an unusable device. I told them my device was modded, so leaving with another used ds would be walking away with less than I had walked in with. The device now has been totally useless after the second visit. The device will no longer stay powered on. Half the buttons don't work, the touch screen doesn't work at all, so I can't even perform a system transfer with the new device because of how badly they damaged it. Either they didn't handle it with care at all, or maybe they just broke it more to make me more desperate. It was the manager and the lead technician screwing me over, there was no one higher in the store I could turn to. I had to accept the terms begrudgingly, but still dissatisfied I asked Misael for a corporate number to complain. Misael then gave me a wrong number. Thankfully, there was a number on the wall that I used. The person I spoke to was nice but was no help at all. When I said I shouldn't have to pay this much to walk away with a lesser product, her solution was leaving up to the store manager, the one I had been arguing with, if I should pay or not. Shockingly, the guy who screwed me over in the first place didn't side in my favor. I can only hope that call at least caught the attention a higher up so this doesn't go unnoticed by corporate, but I doubt it. After a week of silence, I went back, Misael had the replacement, saying he'd had it for days, and that he tried to reach me, which was a lie. I finally just paid for the system and left. So almost two months after my first visit, I am left with a blank device that I can't even transfer my data to because of how bad a job the technicians did. Please do not come here for repairs. They don't care about you or your device. If and when something goes wrong, they will shift the blame to whoever and whatever else besides themselves. I work at a game store and when someone tells me they are having problems with their device, I am more than happy to tell them not to come here. They have screwed me over so badly and did next to nothing to try and make it right, I didn't get so much as an apology from these people. My husband's Samsung flip phone's screen started to separate. The phone was still under warranty, and we called Samsung, they recommended another local business in town and when we called that business and they told him that they did not have the necessary material to fix the phone. That business recommended he call uBreakiFix. My husband called the associate and told him he could fix it right away and uBrekifix is an approved repair business for Samsung accepting our warranty. he did, the phone looks like the day he purchased the phone. They were friendly and efficient and we did not have to pay for the repair, increasing the value. read more

I was able to watch the team work with other customers and they were patient with those less tech savvy. Chris and his team are awesome! My iPhone XS was cracked for quite some time and I put off the repair out of fear of cost. When I found out the actual cost, I brought it right in. The stock they had on hand wouldn't work but they ordered the necessary piece for the next day. Screen arrived and was installed in about an hour. My name is Marina. I am so disappointed with this company. They lied right on my face. They don't have knowledge of my samsung cell phone. I tell you my story: Wednesday April 28th 2021. I went to the store after work and I told the salesperson that my phone is not charging. He said it is the battery and I replied that it's not the battery. I said I did some Google research and before come to you I did all the troubleshooting. I changed chargers, I used different outlets and the battery is brand new. I just bought. I told the guy that the problem is the part that connects the phone to the charger. That part is loose. The guy said: come back in 2 hrs. I said I will come back tomorrow in my lunch hr to pick up the phone. So you have plenty of time to work with the phone. Thursday April 29, 2021 I went in my lunch hr to pick up the phone. He said that the phone wasn't ready they were waiting in the new battery. I said to the person: it is not the battery. Listen to me. I asked to have my phone back and he replied that he wasn't able to give back because the phone was in pieces. I said ok I will be back after work. I left work and I went to pick up phone. The salesperson saw me and said that the phone wasn't ready. It would take 30 min. I said ok I wait in my car. After 30 min I went back to pick up the phone and I had a feeling that they were lying to me. So I said is the phone good now. They said yes. It is fix . It is 40% charged. I got the phone, I paid and I went out of the door. I decided to call my husband and for my surprise I can't make any phone calls. No sim card. I went back I had to wait in line again until it is my turn. I told the person that it is missing the sim card. He open the phone in front of me and I realized that they changed the battery. I said that the problem is not the battery because the battery it was a month old. I asked for my old battery back and he gave back to me. He replied again that the problem was the battery. I said ok . Let me give a try. I took the new battery home and I keep for the night. My phone all night long charged 14%. What I had to do is: my husband has the same phone as me. I gave to him my old battery so he could charge for me. My old battery was charging using my husband phone. Today I will go back to the store and I will give back their battery back and get my money back I have to find another place to replace the problem that is the part that connects the phone to the charger. That part is still loose. I cant keeping using my husband phone to charge my old battery. Stay away. read more

A few months ago I brought my iPad to ubreakifix in Clermont to have the cracked screen replaced. When I brought it home I noticed there was some dirt particles under the screen. It didn't appear to affect the way it operated so I didn't bring it back. I should have as now a few months later, the iPad is ghost typing and the screen is unglued in one corner. Today I brought the iPad back to the same ubreakifix store and they won't do anything or back up their shoddy workmanship. Instead I have to replace the screen with a new one for $169 plus tax. All they want to do is sell you insurance for $25 a month. All I can say is "buyer beware" as ivreakufix will not back up their work unless you buy their $25 a month insurance. I've taken hundreds of photos and video under and just below the water with my Pixel 4 XL. This was nothing out of the ordinary with my Pixel 4 XL. However, when uBreakiFix Clermont replaced my screen they didn't weather seal it to OEM specs, and they refused to do anything after it was water damaged. BTW - It was water damaged by sprinklers, not going under water in the pool - LIKE I HAVE DOZENS OF TIMES. Rain and sprinklers should NEVER be an issue for an IP68 device. However, since they did such a poor replacement the phone is now ruined - with zero recourse. Their techs are hacks and need to be replaced with actual technicians that know and understand what they are doing. The crew at this store has no concept for time, no concept for customer service and clearly no concept for how to PROPERLY repair a phone. - DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION - DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE CELLHELMET SCAM - THEY DON'T VALUE YOUR TIME - THEY DON'T ACCURATELY ESTIMATE TIME OF REPAIR - THEY CONSISTANTLY OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER My wife had a horrible experience with her screen replacement, as well. They told her it would take 2 hours. She spent two hours shopping nearby, came back and they said another 30 minutes. She waited in her car 30 minutes, went back inside and they said another 30 to 45 minutes. They did this two more times for a total additional time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Had she known it would be a 4 to 5 hour repair she would have dropped it off and went back later. Instead, she wasted the better part of her day waiting on their bad information. You have choices - you can go to other locations to avoid the poor service choices here. If I have to use this joke of a company, I'll use a different location. I will avoid the Clermont store completely. I have three secondary devices that need out of warranty screen replacements and I'll find another tech that actually cares about the quality of what they do. Back to the point - the tech was adamant that the screen was replaced properly, but I can tell you with certainty that my phone had been submerged time and time again without issue - until they did a horrible, shoddy, haphazard screen replacement. As a result they ruined a nearly $1K device. They should be ashamed of the poor quality that they are perpetrating on their customers. read more

I've never had a store not honor a tax exempt letter for a church. We took a computer in for them to work on and when I went to pick it up I made small talk and got distracted and as soon as I cashed out using a credit card I told the guy i'm sorry we are tax exempt. He said no problem do you have the sheet, I had a different car then normal so I didn't have one one me and told him i would come back. 3 days later I came back and they were unwilling to help or take the taxes off! They said because it wasn't presented when I checked out. It was the same guy i reminded him of the chit chat and how I told him right then but he refused to fix it. If i bought a product I would have returned it but this was a service. Terrible customer service. read more
