Just a quick update. The employees appear to be hired for this outlet, and didn't receive the same type of training like the ones in their stores. They didn't know how to answer a few basic questions. As for prices, a 'heavily marked down' item was only $50 less than a brand new one at their competitor's store, and the new one included the manufacturer's warranty. So I ended up saving money for a brand new one since I didn't have to purchase Lowe's extended warranty. The outlet is ideal for someone who knows what features and functions they want w/o having to ask too many questions, and don't mind appearances in order to get a lower price. Poor customer service. The phone automation doesnt offer you choices of what you need help with or even an option to just speak to someone. I have questions, i dont what all the parts are called, so its hard to be specific. Ive called several times to speak to someone and the phone just rings. The first time I came here, I was just browsing to see what kind of markdowns and how damaged these appliances were. Some of the dents are not that noticeable, and the markdowns range from 10-15% from retail price. By the time we moved into our new home, we needed a new gas dryer asap, so we came here on a Saturday afternoon. They only had 3 associates and there were at least 10 customers that needed assistance. If you weren't ready to write up an order with them, they did not want to help you. Once you wrote an order up with them, they just tried to upsell the Lowes credit card like no other. Yes, it is a pretty good deal to apply for the Lowes credit card, if you're buying an appliance, because you get up to $100 off your first purchase. However, that doesn't include delivery, installation, and haul away. At Lowes outlet, they charge $99 for delivery, $30 something for installation, and another price for haul-away, so the 10-15% markdown for it being dented isn't really a markdown at all. So lesson learned, if you're willing to wait for a good deal to purchase it brand new and not dented from Costco, Home Depot or Lowes retail store, then I would wait because they usually include all those additional services into the price. read more

Got helped out at first by a lady I believe "Leanna" she was nice great customer service then I was passed on to a guy named "Marco" what a D!** to say the least. I asked him to show me where the item he was talking about was and he just rolled his eyes and went "UGH!" When I had seen him previously he was just sitting talking to one of his coworkers so needless to say he didn't have anything to return back to. So far so good (it's been 3 months) No extended warranty needed. My refrigerator deal was a steal! Retail $2000 paid $600. I was a bit disappointed discouraged about the delivery process as I was told it would not fit through my door as they were standing right in front of the door. I was told I would need to take my door off. I told them I will not be taking the door off and that it would fit (I took measurements prior to my purchase). Good prices, terrible customer service. On 09/28/24 at around 4:30 we were ready to check out with our three small items. We stood at the register for about 10 minutes until I decided to see if someone was available to help us. I kindly asked the gentleman in the red vest with the ponytail if anyone had a moment to check us out. He condescendingly said to me (a woman), "go wait in line!!! And when we are available we will be there!!!" There was nearly no one in the store. We waited around 25 minutes after asking three people. Not really sure this is how you run a business. read more

Buyers Beware! I bought a Hisense Refrigerator at the beginning of June and it worked for less than a week. I called the warranty department and it took my 30 minutes to work through the prompts to be able to speak to someone. This company goes to great lengths to wear you down so you hang up and go away it's unbelievable. After being drug through a lengthy list of ridiculous questions the representative told me a must perform some tests on the unit myself by pressing a combination of buttons waiting 24 hours and then call back to go through this process all over again. After I did this and proved her wrong that this didn't fix the problem they sent a repairman out two weeks later whole I'm without a working refrigerator. The guy comes out and says it's unplugged so you need to plug it in and I'll come back in 24 hours to look at it ( More Bullshit) after calling for a week because he never returned they tell me that the warranty is void because the unit was at a commercial office and not a residence. At no time or on any paperwork or receipt was this stated. Hisense and Lowe's are despicable in the way the are out to deceive the public here so stay away! read more

I heard about scratch and dent places. Given that it is a corporate company even if an outlet store, I still expected somewhat decent customer service. I had one person help me out. When showed the refrigerator I ended up buying, I expressed interest in another style. Mind you had only been there for 10 minutes after choosing their refrigerator I ended up buying. There wasn't much customer service from anyone and making sure I would be happy with my purchase, especially that it's final sale. Employees didn't know much about the refrigerators or just didn't care. On top of that, their delivery fee is $125. Their delivery truck ended up having issues and did not deliver on the date they said they were going to. I waited around all day within the four hour window they had given me. I called an hour before the window ended, letting them know I hadn't been reached out to and was wondering if I was still supposed to expect a delivery. They told me that they were having issues and the delivery guy was supposed to reach out, but he never did. I was told the delivery would end up being on Saturday and would receive a call Friday night for another delivery window. Did not receive it so I called an hour before the outlet store closed Friday. The gentleman that answered gave me attitude as if I was bothering. Paid for the haul away for my old refrigerator. They were not able to complete the hall away, which is fine, however, when I called to ask about the refund, I was hung up on. I tried calling back, there was no answer. I legitimately had to block my number to see if they were just choosing not to answer my call. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and even though I still paid over $1200 for the refrigerator. I'm sure if I went to an actual Lowe's store the service might've been more up to par. read more

Don't pay for delivery. I bought a fridge and the installers will only leave it on the floor at the front of the kitchen. If they need to do any extra work beyond wheeling or removing the fridge door to get through a hallway, they absolutely will NOT do it even if the store salesperson tells you they will. Don't believe it. Had to wait another day for new installers who never called. Ending up asking a favor from family to get the job done. Not worth it. We bought from the outlet because we needed a fridge asap because ours died. Three days later I would have been better off just ordering a fridge with fast delivery options new from elsewhere. read more

I have been here for a few major appliances. Nothing but great experiences. But it is a place full of returns and damaged goods. That is why you pay a fraction of the price. You have to weigh it out. I was looking at dryers and saw a price that showed $1200. It was marked down to $600 because of a dent. But when I researched it, you could buy it on sale new for $850 at another retailer. Not worth the risk, considering there might be unseen damage. But when I was asking, turns out there was a Labor Day sale and it was $325. Now, totally worth it. You have to be smart about it. Reading these reviews is frustrating because they sound like they are expecting top dollar service and product for a majorly discounted rate. Not realistic. read more

The racket on the other side of my house that undoubtably my neighbors can hear is the second dryer which will now be headed back to Lowe's outlet. This one sounds like some sort of jackhammer; the last one refused to heat up. The problem with the Lowe's outlet is that they do not keep a record of why things were returned and sent to the outlet, and in the case of our failing dryers, they sold broken appliances. Came here to get a fridge. My sister in law referred us here. At first walking in it felt odd because there was few employees on site but not one of them greeted us or offered to help us. Like 10 minutes walking around a male employee named Aaron or (Erin) came to us and was just amazing. He made up for the initial un-welcoming .He was very friendly, and took his time to make sure we found the right fridge for us. He answered all of our questions regarding the fridges we had in mind. We scored a hit. Layer on another gentleman named Ralph helped to load and he was just so sweet and helpful. There should be more people like them both. Ordered a fridge and paid for delivery from their 3rd party vendor DSI. When we purchased the fridge from the store it barely had any marks on it . Upon delivery it had multiple dents made by the delivery company. We returned the fridge and made another order . The order was suppose to arrive two days later . I ask them if the cost included hooking it up, they said it did. The two delivery guys showed up did not even say hello or introduce themselves. I bought the hose for the hook up but when I asked them if they were going to hook it up, they said no! I told them in was including in the delivery cost. They said nothing and left. NOT JUST A SCRATCHED OPEN BOX MODEL. I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher here in August. It appeared to have nothing more than a scratch across the front. It was supposed to be just a scratched open box of a new dishwasher. I bought the extended warranty to be certain. It was installed by Lowes staff. It was not operating correctly. When I called for service, I was told to call Frigidaire because it was under the original warranty. They came out and looked at it. A week later they called and told me it was a 2017 model (3 years old) and would not be covered. I called Lowes back and told them. They told me they will not cover me for the first year until the manufacturer's warranty runs out. I spent more than 5 hours on the phone back and forth and both refuse to cover me. NOw it is December and no one will help me. I can't get it fixed until the year is up. So that is a year with a new broken dishwasher I paid almost $1000 for. I saved 10-15% on a thousand dollar dishwasher that I can't use correctly for a year. Don't buy here or this may be your story too. read more

Supervisor Hector was very rude and unprofessional. I walked in at 7:45 and he walked over and asked me "Are you almost done because the store closed at 8:00 p.m."! I glanced at him and I said no I'm not done and I am aware what time the store closes. I then heard him tell another customer that she doesn't have enough time to look around and the customer stated it's 7:50 pm. I told him that he has been rude since the moment I walk ed in he said that I was harassing him. I told him I am a nurse and I would never treat him that way if he ever came to my hospital. A little disappointed by my experience with buying a new washer and dryer. Just got it installed and dryer doesn't work. The manager is swapping it out with another one. Very inconvenient. First thing to note is this is an outlet store so the products they are selling are not in the box from the factory. These items have been transported outside of the boxes so many of them have imperfections. Some of them were floor models. You have to pick through some that are missing a leg peg, dents, minor scratches. The new dryer they are swapping the broken out with has 2 dents! Another heads up- The employees here are not sales pros they are just there to make a transaction. The store manager will answer your questions begrudgingly. Don't come here and expect them to walk you through the different features and products. Not going to happen. The ONLY reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the prices are legitimate discounts. I got the dryer 30% off and the washer 50% off. BUY THE WARRANTY. As I experienced my brand new dryer is a dud! The store manager is swapping it out but it's a complete time sucker to have to come back to the store to pick another one out and wait another day before they can deliver it. read more

They get inventory frequently so items get sold pretty quickly as well. Staff greeted us and were nice but the 1 star review is for the products available. This place is a complete rip off!!! The appliances do not have "minor imperfections" these appliances have significant scratches, dings, and dents that are very noticeable. And that's fine if some folks don't mind having imperfect appliances, the problem is that they are charging you as much if not MORE than what you would've paid for a brand spanking new appliance at a regular Lowe's store. I know this because my husband and I were just at Lowe's in Burbank, CA. Do not purchase here if at all possible. I would rather get something from a used appliance store at a fraction of the price.
