TERRIBLE customer service. Just went in for a French tip pedicure, bitch refused to get a different pink for the base than SHE wanted to use. Left out without a full service and she still charged for a full pedicure. I asked to have it adjusted, they refused. I decided it was time to treat myself to a Mani pedi after being locked in the house forever due to covid. Finding a nail salon open on a Sunday was a challenge all it's own. When I drove by day they were open, I really didn't care what I was getting, I just need a place that was open. I walked in about 30 min after they opened and it was already full. I did have a bit of a wait but I was expecting that. The staff was working as fast as they could. If you go on a Sunday, go early or pick another day, it was 11:30 and they were having to turn people away because of the wait. This place has SO many colors to choose from. It was almost overwhelming. LOL There is plexiglass at all of the nail stations. Masks are required, and all staff present was wearing masks, properly, at the time of my visit. The bowl at the pedicure station had a disposable liner that was changed before I sat down (nothing to do with covid, it was nice to see I wasn't going to be setting my bare feet on the same bowl others had). Overall everything is nice and clean. The pedi was great. My legs were wrapped in hot towels and my feet and legs were rubbed with hot stones. It was long overdue and very nice. Manicure was a typical natural nail manicure. Great color, everything is shaped well, and cleaned up! Mani and pedi was $45. I will be coming back here again soon! I'm not to happy with my visit. I was told my nails were to short, with my job I can't have nails any longer than I currently have. The shaping on the nail isn't even. My one ring finger nail is on a slant, my one middle finger nail comes to a slight "point" almost. An hour later, no design on my toe ( she told me because I wanted regular polish it couldn't be done- never heard that excuse), my toes were expertly polished and feet were smooth. But no design. I had also asked for an American or French manicure and ended up with straight pink; cuz two hours later I was cold, hungry and just wanted out of there so I didn't get that either. Tech was super particular about cuticles, but there certainly needs to be a line between efficiency and perfection. I love this place! I have been coming here on and off for years and now I will be coming here regularly. My two favorite nail specialists are Helen and Tina. They are so talented and really spoil you with the pedicures! I get shellac pedicures and for my manicure I get acrylics with shellac over it. They have excellent pricing! I went here for the first time to get a fill in and shellac. My nails peeled and in the past 10 days, I had to go back 3 times because my shellac lifted. I have been wearing shellac for 2 years so I'm certain it wasn't me. I was looking for a new nail salon closer to where I live now, so my best friend brought me here. I'm so happy :) My nail tech really took her time to shape and smooth my nails to make sure they were perfect. I've had bad experiences with many nail techs at other salons who pile on the acrylic and make my nails look lumpy, and then they're filed and painted unevenly. I was so relieved to see how little acrylic she was using, and how detail oriented she was. They have a lot of color and style options, including fun trendy ones like the 'mood changing' polish, and ombré technique. The prices are also amazing for the work that was put into my nails. This is my second time here and I came back because they do good work, but after they were done and I handed them my card, they said that they needed cash and didn't take cards right now because so many people pay with cards. They even offer coffee with your service :) the man who did my shellac really took his time to make sure everything went well. Ok, admittedly I tried to go here once. There was nowhere to sit and I wasn't waiting! So we went on a rainy Friday night. We ever seen right away! Yay. My nails looked horrible, I peeled all my shellac off.. oops. Anyways manicure to the rescue. She took her time cleaning up my nails. I would like to say- if you don't get your nails done too often it can be hard to understand them. This women came in and the women who was working on my nails said "how can I help you?" But it was hard to understand unless like me, you go every week and a half. The chick couldn't understand her.. Then copped a huge attitude. By the end.. She got up and threw the colors and walked out. Life goes on, why be moody.. I think the owner and his wife handled it pretty well. Back to my manicures She took her time and my poor fingers needed it. She was patient as I can never pick a color. Let's hope it stays.. It doesn't deserve the 1 star but I had no choice..... This used to be my go to for mani/pedi but not any longer and I live 5 minutes away. The first bad experience was several years ago. The tech (I won't mention her name), who always did my nails kept saying how tired she was and it was definitely showing in her work. She drew blood while doing my cuticles on a couple fingers! I didn't go back for a long time then I decided to try them again. All the techs used to compliment me on my natural nails (they were nice if I do say so myself) but they are no longer nice. The lady this time, (the mother of the tech that I had issues with before), after a few visits with her totally ruined my nails. They used to "lightly" sand your nails and then soak off the gel and scrape the remaining off. NOT any more!! They sand most of it off then soak for maybe 5 minutes. Because of all the sanding they did, my nails are paper thin and tear. They are so bad that I've been using press-ons so I don't rip them. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THAT PLACE!! read more

I use to come here a lot. Right by my house, convenient, did a good job. Then I stopped going about a year ago. They just didn't listen to what I'd tell them about my toes when getting pedicures and my toes would still be sore after. Well, I tried to give them another chance Sunday since they were the only place open on a Sunday nearby. Got there 10 minutes after they opened and then waited 1.5 hrs, there was only a few people working and 3-4 people ahead of me. Got my pedicure first, and still nothing has changed with how they do it. My toes still hurt. Then it was time for my manicure. Of course, like most nail places, they pressure you to get shellac or dip. I just wanted regular polish. I knew it would chip quicker but only wanted them done for the holiday and my birthday. Well, it last less than 4 hours before the first 2 chips on my nails and after 24 & 48 hours, you'd have thought I had them done weeks ago and worked in a rock field. So disappointing. What a waste of my hard earned money. They should not have chipped this bad after such a short amount of time. read more

I normally see my usual nail tech at a different salon but because of timing and life I decided to stop in and get my shellac re done! The guy doing my nails was very rough & dismissive. Multiple times I told him he was hurting me & he didn't even stop to ask why. I felt rushed through my whole service and was under the impression he was annoyed with my requests. As someone who works in the service industry I felt very uncomfortable by the way I was being ignored and mistreated during a service I was paying for. Let me first start out by saying it's hard to find a decent nail shop open on Sunday's unless you go to the mall, and they are usually extremely busy. I was up early and heading towards the Sterling Heights area and decided to find a place to get a mani & pedi. This came up on Yelp with decent reviews so I figured I'd give it a shot. Arrived at 10:45am, they open at 10:30am on Sunday's. They have a sign that says Grand Opening, the owner said they've been open for about 3 months so far. The salon is extremely clean, workers are very friendly. They started getting really busy after I arrived so I suggest getting there when they open. Pedicure was awesome, she really took her time and my feet feel baby soft. I didn't get a full manicure, just filed and painted. Only $31 total for both. And, you can tip on a credit card at this location. I would definitely come back to this location again, even though it's out of my way! read more

My feet have never felt that good before. I had a really long massage. My polish stayed on for almost six months! My friend had a manicure here the same time I had my manicure and her polish stayed on for a while as well. My little sister also had a couple polish changes done here too. Good experiences every single time I've been here. And I've been to a lot of different salons. Sure, it's a pretty typical Vietnamese owned nail salon. But every time I've been there, I had great service for cheap prices. I also had my eyebrows done here once. **** THIS IS A LONG, BUT DETAILED REVIEW FROM A NEWCOMER TO A SALON AND TO ACRYLICS **** I came into the salon today to get a full set of acrylic nails for the first time. I came in an hour before they close and I got started wth my acrylics about 5 minutes after I walked in the door. I love that they were willing to help me as soon as they could. A guy was helping me out on the nails and I felt like I was almost treated as a customer that knew everything about acrylics and I was not really explained everything. I was new to this and I was kinda confused on some things. The man working on my nails was obviously one of the owners because he was very distracted by other things. He would answer the phones, talk to other employees constantly. Because of that, he was rushing my nails, slamming things around and he even started to shape my nails incorrectly because he assumed that I wanted coffin shaped nails. I had to correct him and tell him that I wanted square... you think that he would ask what shape I wanted before he started to shape them! I just realized when I got home, that my nails were really a rounded square shape instead of a square like I asked for. And I was completely new to a nail salon and everything. He was also looking up and talking to other customers, taking phone calls, writing in appointments and his attention was not on my nails. As a result of that, some of my nails are crooked, weirdly shaped and don't look as good as they should. I felt uncomfortable with how he was treating my nails and it was hard for me to stick up for myself, as I am only 16.. I then had a younger lady paint my nails. She was much more compassionate and she asked me a lot of questions and informed me about acrylics. However, she didn't paint them as well as she could. She was rushing and she didn't cap (polish) the free edge fully. The nail beds are fine, but the free edge is patchy. She was very considerate of me as a new customer and a new person to acrylics. After all, I do have to say that the prices are very reasonable. The student discount helped a lot and I only payed $22 for a basic white acrylic set. In conclusion, I wish that they take their time more, didn't assume the customer's knowledge of nails and focused more on the nails and not got distracted. **** I don't really recommend this salon for newcomers to anything. Please do yourself a favor and never take time out of your day to get your nails done here- this is an absolute embarrassment of an establishment. This is a pretty lengthy, honest review- so if you don't feel like reading just know if I could give 0 or even negative stars, I would. I've been coming here for years as I live down the road and have been a loyal customer (besides when I went away to college). There have been multiple instances where they have up-charged me for the EXACT same service (dip manicure with no nail tip nor shape)- first few times I was charged $40, then once I was charged $45, the next time $47, and the very last time I ever decided to do dip with them I was charged $50- mind you, this was PRIOR to the covid outbreak. Yes I did bring it to their attention and they told me that that's how much they've always charged me. As civil as I was, they kept telling me I was wrong and would start small arguments- I would go back and find the transactions on my phone and they'd tell me I was wrong and that I had another service done. Not to mention, every time I've done dip they have only lasted two weeks MAX- and that's being generous. The nail salon in my college town would charge $40 for dip WITH NAIL TIPS (typically $45 at Lovely Nails) and they would last 4 FULL WEEKS. How are you about to buy cheap products and then charge your customers $50 for average nails? Another issue I have had with them MULTIPLE TIMES is they value walk-ins over their appointments. I can't tell you the amount of times I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour after my scheduled appointment and STILL had walk ins take the next open seat because they were a customer known to pay with cash. Please save yourself the time, money, and energy you would've given this place and look for another. Subpar nails, RUDE staff, and scam you out of money!! read more
