When the cakes I was interested in were out of my budget, they offered inspiration pictures of what they could do within my budget. The cake looked beautiful and got so many compliments. It was moist and tasty, not dried out like some professional cakes are. When I wanted more of a certain color scheme, they pivoted and accommodated quickly and were very nice about it. The "icing on the cake" of their customer service was that they were worried about the meringue pops melting if I picked it up the night before because of the temperature change from their cake fridge to a regular fridge, so she came in early the next morning so I could pick it up right before the party. So many companies would have left me to deal with that on my own, but they went a step above to make sure I had a cake and experience that I was happy with. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Custom Cake Cakery!

I was greeted right away. The young lady at the counter was nice, she was patient, and she answered all my questions. The store is a vibe. There are beautiful flowers and decor, and it's pretty and clean inside. There's a table inside, but it's not much space to eat there. So it's more of a pickup type of bakery. They had several different flavors of cupcakes in the display which all looked tasty!! They also sell custom cakes and other baked goods. I grabbed my cupcakes but I was taking pics for my review. So as I'm taking pics, I'm smiling and minding my business. A lady walks in and you can tell she was in a bit of a mood. She started talking to the girl behind the counter in a rude tone. So I went on taking my pics, and the counter where the register was, had several boxes, so I sat my cake box down on this little cart that had toppings. I thought it was too cute not to get a pic of. All of a sudden I hear the same tone say "please don't sit anything there"! I wasn't aware she was talking to me at first so, she said ma'am and I turned around. She told me no, don't put anything on that, we take that to shows or for catering. She said it could get scratched up or dinged. I apologized and moved the box. She was still talking. So I said ok. I mentioned there wasn't a sign up or anything to alert me that it was a problem. But I wasn't being rude or weird. I mean it literally was a small dessert box. When we both walked outside I told her I wasn't trying to be rude, I just wasn't fond of how she was speaking to me and thought the sign would help avoid conflicts in the future. She obviously didn't want to talk about it, so she said we never needed a sign because no one has ever done that before!! As if I'd broken some unspoken law. Lol. By this time I was confused as to what I did that was so wrong, I even had to giggle because this small situation didn't warrant her being snappy. I tried to give her grace because I don't know what kind of day she was having. But I'm assuming she's the owner at this point. She should definitely get her tone in check, because customers can pick up on your nice nasty approach. I thought this was going to be a good experience, but it left me confused and a little disappointed. The whole vibe was light and airy before she walked in. As for the cupcakes they were not what I expected. I got a mystery box so it was a mix of cupcakes they pick out that are leftovers from the previous day. But these had to have been from several days ago because each and every one was hard, none were moist. Very heavy cupcakes. There was carrot cake, I think a maple one, lemon blueberry, and chocolate. I noticed the carrot cake one had the after taste of raw flour.. . The chocolate one and the lemon blueberry tasted the best out of all of them, but each one of them had to much extract, except the chocolate one. I'm not just saying this because of the encounter we had. I don't hold grudges, this is an honest reaction. I had been excited to try this place because I have a sweet tooth. Maybe the fresher cupcakes taste better, so I'll give them that. But these weren't good to me. That's just my opinion, but still check them out, maybe it'll be a different experience and you may enjoy the flavors!! Again it's a gorgeous store!!

We went over the options they had, as they have a rotating menu (I love a good rotating menu! Keeps you on your toes!). We went with various options. My favorite was the DOUBLE CRUST CHEESECAKE! People don't get it, something about the crust is just so....perfect. We've gotta start doing more double crush cheesecakes out there! I also did espresso, sweet potato, and a chocolate one! I also added cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. Everything was soft, fresh, moist, and the flavor profiles were perfect. Every flavor we ordered tasted exactly like what we were looking for. That sweet potato pie cheesecake one was amazing. The guy at the front even gave us a free cookie as a first timer. We've gone twice now and I must say I WILL be a regular. They can count on that. 10/10, no notes at all. Not a single one, which is not easy for a loud mouth NYer like me! Hahaha. I am a fan!

When we walked in we were greeted by Mrs Cheryl, one of the owners. Her and her husband James operate this cute bakery. They were both really friendly!! Mrs Cheryl told us about all the items, and gave us some recommendations. She was very patient. The mini cheesecakes are $4 each or you can get a half dozen or a dozen. They'd be great for birthdays or gatherings. I certainly recommend trying several flavors. We got the biscoff, butter beer, and kit kat, cheesecakes, a lemon bar, and some cookies. The butter beer and biscotti were my favorite choices. The biscoff had good flavor and the butter beer was similar to butterscotch. The kit kat was ok, it just wasn't my favorite. I added caramel to it at home and I liked it a little more. The lemon bar was a decent portion and cookies were good also. My daughter enjoyed hers also. Make sure you eat them cold or the texture will change. So chilled is definitely the way to go!! They're in a good location, with plenty of parking out front. We were in and out with no wait. I'll definitely return. Check them out!!

Our cake was only $326 which was phenomenal because other places were charging $800-$1,000 for a 3-tier wedding cake. I really loved the user-friendly website they had. Ordering was so simple and easy and I was able to order a gorgeous pre-made, 3-tier cake, that Jessica and Erik were able to add our wedding colors to. The cake was a vintage style cake and it quite elegant. The top two layers were vanilla with the bottom being chocolate. The cake was delicious, moist, with the perfect amount of buttercream icing. The guests absolutely loved the chocolate as it had layers of what looked like fudge in between the layers or cake. The slices were a mile high tall and did I mentioned the moistness of the cake?! It was amazing. The vanilla was delicious as well, but the chocolate was the crowd favorite. Our guests loved the cake. We will be ordering from Jessica and Erik in the future for events and milestones. We also support veteran owned businesses. I immediately contacted the owner, Jessica, via email (that's the only way to communicate with them), she stated that UPS probably mishandled the package and I should send her pictures. UPS had no fault in this, as the box they were in was small and not sturdy and FRAGILE was not marked on the box. The box was squished. It was the way they were packaged and sent that caused the entire contents to be smashed. Once I sent her pictures, she would not respond to me any further, I sent 3 more emails asking for a refund and never got any response. I don't understand how a business can operate like that. I had to file a claim with my CC and finally received the refund. This Jessica does not care about her customers in the least, I was devastated that I could not use the planned cookies as favours for my daughert's shower and scrambled to get something else, 3 days before the event.

Multiple shades of purple spotted mushrooms were placed on the side running the entire one side of the cake. Cutest things ever seen. The details were amazing.
