Thankfully, I was not injured, and I'm especially grateful that my elderly mother did not have the piece that was in my biscotti. What was most concerning was the response when I returned to the bakery to report it. The employee told me the owners had already left, but there was no apology or sense of urgency regarding what could have been a very serious safety issue. I brought the glass back to the bakery and made them aware of the situation. At this point, I believe it is the owners' responsibility to contact me and address this matter. Finding glass in a food product is extremely dangerous, and I hope they take the necessary steps to ensure this never happens to another customer.

Snd at the end we were not sure if we were clearing our table or not. So it took us a few minutes walking around and trying to watch people. I'm still not sure if there were other things we could have ordered or if it is what you see if what they have for that day. We stood in line and that went very fast. Ordered the veggie slice and the marinara slice. When we got up to the register to pay she rang it up and said do you want anything else. Well I said do you have drinks available? You get to choose your tea. I absolutely love that. I got chamomile tea. But she should have asked if we would like something to drink or have a drink menu or something. There was just a disconnect with how this place works. And if it is your first time I'm clueless. The food was wonderful and they had plenty of ice water that you serve yourself. We were riding our bikes at the oceanfront so the nice cold water was great Pros and cons -Friendly staff, but not super informative -the food was wonderful, but not sure if that was the whole menu. -tea selection was good and my chamomile tea was wonderful, but I would have liked to have read a menu of what drinks were available. When we walked in we were greeted by Mrs Cheryl, one of the owners. Her and her husband James operate this cute bakery. They were both really friendly!! Mrs Cheryl told us about all the items, and gave us some recommendations. She was very patient. The mini cheesecakes are $4 each or you can get a half dozen or a dozen. They'd be great for birthdays or gatherings. I certainly recommend trying several flavors. We got the biscoff, butter beer, and kit kat, cheesecakes, a lemon bar, and some cookies. The butter beer and biscotti were my favorite choices. The biscoff had good flavor and the butter beer was similar to butterscotch. The kit kat was ok, it just wasn't my favorite. I added caramel to it at home and I liked it a little more. The lemon bar was a decent portion and cookies were good also. My daughter enjoyed hers also. Make sure you eat them cold or the texture will change. So chilled is definitely the way to go!! They're in a good location, with plenty of parking out front. We were in and out with no wait. I'll definitely return. Check them out!!
