The sfogliatelle (shell-shaped pastry) is worth a trip from Kempsville. In addition to the great food, I have to send a shoutout to Erin. I was meeting a friend, she was late, not reachable by text or phone, which is highly unusual for her. After a half hour wait I was convinced my friend was having a health issue. I thanked Erin, explained the situation to her, and left to drive to my friend's house. Needless to say, five minutes later (still in the parking lot), I got a message through Messenger that my friend was safe inside the restaurant. Erin volunteered her personal phone to help us out and was very kind through the whole debacle. Almost needed a daytime glass of wine to recover! (no go - driving) The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. But I get distracted on my way to the table by the amazing pastry display! And they're not just pretty, they back it up with good taste.
