Went here for the first time this past Saturday night for a last minute birthday celebration. We'd…read morehad plans to go to another restaurant in Norfolk but it was closed the whole weekend for Labor Day so had to make a last minute decision on where I wanted to go instead! I have been wanting to try El Korita for a couple of years now so figured this would be a perfect time, I'm sure glad we did! We got there an hour before closing and even though the place is pretty tiny, they were able to seat our party of six with no wait time. Put two tables together for us and quickly got our drink orders and brought us three baskets if chips with both the red and white salsas to accompany them. Red salsa was delicious, I'm not a fan of the white sauce in general but the white with the red together was pretty tasty. They also took our food order quickly and were patient with our requests to change a couple of things with the order. Food came out really quickly, very hot and freshly made, and delicious!!! Our party tried the steak and chicken fajitas, enchiladas Mexicanas, loaded nachos, shrimp taco salad, steak tacos and steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious and really reasonably priced and they never rushed us through, even though by the end of our meal it was closing time. Highly recommend this place, we'll definitely be back!

We arrived about 6:00 pm and we waited about five minutes... to our surprise another party was getting up from the table. After the waitress cleaned the table, we were sat after 8 minutes of walking in. Business was booming! We saw only three workers up front, but they all were on the move non stop. I ordered chicken and beef soft tacos and my babe ordered the fajitas. We both enjoyed our food and ate it all! He ordered a cocktail and I, a margarita. The margarita had too much mix in it and was not good at all... I am taking away the one star. The free chips and salsa... the chips were delish! Not sure if they were fresh or store bought. The food was plentiful and overall we will return if we are in the mood for Mexican. This mom and pop shop closes early, but if you are in the area they are worth checking out. Parking is available on the street. I did not see a garage nearby, but on this day parking was not an issue for us. Have fun and enjoy life :)

So much so that I had to go back the next day. I ordered the corn tacos which were so yummy!! A friend had the balsamic fig jam grilled cheese she said that it was VERY GOOD!! As I stated the tacos were so good I went back the next day for another order! By the way I added grilled chicken to the corn tacos!! The owner who was really pleasant offered me a sample of the brown sugar cinnamon cookie/ bar the description stated that it tastes like a pop-tart very accurate!! It definitely tasted like the brown sugar cinnamon pop-tart but better!! If you come across The Silver Fox I highly recommend you stopping by for a visit you will not be disappointed!

She's a classic BLT girl. The chicken sandwich was delicious! The bread was on point! Fresh and crunchy. My daughter got the rice and said it was a little cold but tasted delicious! Also got the brownie and my wife said it was "the JAM!" One of the better food trucks that has visited Big Ugly!

Bite of Maine has had me in a committed relationship with lobster for YEARS, and frankly, the other…read morelobster spots can stop calling. They simply do not compare. The lobster roll is the star of the show--tender, juicy, buttery perfection piled into a soft roll like it knows exactly how important it is. I will say, the amount of lobster seems to have slimmed down a little over the years...maybe an ounce or so? And yes, I noticed. I have photographic evidence! I've been sending pictures of these glorious lobster rolls to my sister for years purely to rub this delicacy in her face, so I basically have my own unofficial lobster-roll archive. The crinkle-cut fries are another must, especially with a little Old Bay sprinkled on top. That tiny dusting takes them from "good fries" to "hand me another basket immediately." And don't sleep on the fried shrimp platter. The shrimp are plentiful, nicely seasoned, and consistently one of my favorites when I somehow manage to order something besides lobster. I've had the whoopie pies. I've had the Snap Dogs. They're perfectly fine, I'm sure. But this body was not built on "perfectly fine." This body was built on the REALLY good stuff. LOBSTER. Bite of Maine remains my lobster-roll champion. Everybody else is just out here participating. Inside is cool and quaint, lobster eclectic with a community vibe. Service is fast!

My brother is in the hospital and may not see another Friday so I needed a good haddock fish fry to talk about with him .... and I found one even though it was not beer battered. A Bit of Maine offers a perfect seaside ambiance ... it's like stepping up to a clam shack. Yes, you have to wait in line because there is no table service. Young lady greeted me with a smile and gave me a sample of the chowder! Asked for tap water and she provided albeit in a rather small plastic cup. The tables are ready for diners ... ketchup, hot sauce and malt vinegar. Will admit that even for me the temperature was rather cool inside. It's a pleasant CASUAL ... VERY CASUAL ... dining room. Lots of take out orders came and went so obviously something good is happening here!! My platter exceeded expectations!! Lots of perfect French fries!! LOTS of them!! A decent sized cup of a little above average cole slaw. And a really nice piece of perfectly fried oh so sweet perfection (I already wrote perfect didn't I!) haddock ... ok, it wasn't beer battered so it was not a perfect rendering of a Buffalo Friday Fish Fry but I am not complaining because I was happy! The chowder (Yes, the sample convinced me!) was tasty in a briny sense of the word with lots of fish and yes lobster in it along with some potatoes. A large chowder would make a very satisfying meal. And, I hurried back to the ICU to tell my brother even though he couldn't answer. I am sure that like me, he was happy that I had such a great Friday HADDOCK fish fry!!
