It's cute, it smells like love and comfort and grandmama's house as she cooks Sunday dinner all at once. You order a half a pound of ham; you grab a jar of peach, pecan, and amaretto jam and on a whim--you get a Va ham sandwich with that same jam on it. Soft music lulls you as you sit on a swank couch that could easily be found in the corner of a speakeasy or a jazz club in the French Quarter. Your sandwich arrives and thought it's simple in its construction, the flavor explodes on your taste buds! Trust me on this bit of advice, order the Freaking Fabulous Fullers sandwich and switch out the mayonnaise for that peach, pecan and amaretto jam. I felt like I was HONORED to be here! Yes, it's a whole vibe, folks and the customer service--they are personable as the decor! You will come here and you will love it. I know I do!

Here is what I got: - Mini Turkey Hamburger Sliders & Fries: Good flavor & the burgers are actually pretty big! The fries were good & tasted great when I reheated in airfryer. - Salmon, fontant potatoes, & asparagus: Delicious & healthy. I really like that they have Sockeye available to choose too. - Greek Quinoa Salad w/Shrimp: Great salad & love the rectangles of feta, just good flavor all-around. It's hard for cos like this to pack salads with protein, as it does make some of the spinach (or lettuce) wilt a bit on the 1 side, but that's how all salads are that we buy anywhere. - Roasted Beet Salad: Delicious! Again it's hard when we buy pre-packaged salads that have any kind of nuts, as they may not be as crispy by the time we eat - this is the case for all salads tho. - Chocolate Cake: Wasn't my favorite & was pretty dry, so would rather try the bundt cake next time I order. I definitely recommend! I think the delivery is $10, which is worth it!

Many of the other places we found required a minimum of 10 people so they weren't feasible for us. We ordered from Catherine less than a week before our trip and she was super accommodating, delivered to us at arrival, and included easy to follow reheat instructions. As an extra perk, her portions were very generous so the food lasted far more of our trip than our originally anticipated 2 days of food. We ordered a charcuterie board for 2-3 grazings, two breakfast dishes, tacos for 6 (intended to be two meals for our family of two adults and two toddlers, but plenty for many more), and chicken and steak for 3. Highly recommend and we'll definitely call her for our next trip to the area!

I was so happy to see this yellow food truck with all the goodness that I long for daily... popcorn!! And a favorite...kettle corn and it's super delicious! I first fell in love with this popcorn at Yelp's Summer event that took place at the Children's Museum in May of this year... Mike's Italian Ice was one of the vendor's present. I usually travel to Williamsburg Outlets for that Infamous popcorn there but no need to travel unnecessary when Mike's Italian Ice is right here minutes away from my home. I purchased the large bag of kettle corn for $7 and they have a regular size bag which is $5. So worth the $7, please spend that extra $2 that way you can share with family and friends and not worry about all of it being gone in one sitting. He also has Italian Ice which is great as well. My daughter tried it today for the first time. She ordered the regular size Italian ice with two flavors...watermelon and green apple and she said she absolutely loved it! Mr. Mike remembered me from the Yelp event too!! He definitely stacked the Italian ice in that regular cup so shout out to him for looking out. Mr. Mike...such a friendly guy willing to deliver over the top customer service and focused on delivering freshness. Not sure if he had other food for sale, I did see other beverages for sale. I definitely recommend you give it a try like I said he's going to be outside of the Sam's Club tomorrow Sunday July 16th as well from open to close (Sams Club hours). Have fun | enjoy life

I see On The Spot Creamery (OTSC) food trailer parked at the 3W Farmers Market parking lot often,…read moreso when we saw it parked there yesterday, on our way back from a birthday party, I did a sharp turn in! According to the man in the trailer, they make all their ice creams in the food trailer. At the time of our visit, they had five flavors of ice cream available, but only in cups. He said that they had had a busy day and ran out of cones. He had also shut down the milkshake machine. In terms of savory items, they had lobster rolls (not sure if this is a regular item), but they also had a few varieties of hot dogs. My kids had asked for a sample of the watermelon sorbet. I thought it had more of a citrus hint to it, rather than the pure flavor of watermelon itself, so we opted for the vanilla and chocolate flavors. Both sorbet and ice creams had a great, creamy texture though! For a kids cup, it'll run you about $4 which I think is about average for an ice cream spot/food truck prices. It was a nice cold treat on these awful humid days! Eat it quick! The man said that he will be there next weekend, which I am assuming with the frequency that I've seen him there, is that he may be there every weekend on the regular. Enjoy, Friends!

Buyer BEWARE. I agree with some of what the "hidden reviews" below have to say about The…read moreUnforgettable Gourmet. Angela is a very nice person. However, my experience with her professionalism left a very poor taste in my mouth (before I even got to taste her food). I was planning two events in 2020, a birthday party and a bridal shower. I reached out in February 2020 and Angela was extremely responsive, she emailed me immediately, called me, even pinged me on gchat. She was enthusiastic and charming and we narrowed down a delicious menu at a really reasonable price, and I was excited to work with her. A couple days later, she sent a request for a catering deposit via GooglePay, which I paid. The following week (still in Feb 2020), I reached out again about the 2nd event. Similarly, we developed a menu. Agreed on a reasonable price. This time, she asked for the deposit via Zelle, since GooglePay took too long for her to receive the funds. I agreed and sent payment. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, I had to cancel the first event. I reached out to Angela on March 30, she responded immediately and said that the deposit would be returned before the end of the week. It was not. I reached out and she said she'd have to refund the deposit at the end of the month instead (April 2020). I understood the situation and agreed. On April 23rd, I made the decision to cancel the 2nd event (again due to COVID).I reached out again, but got no response. I reached out again on May 7 inquiring about both refunds. She responded saying she was "waiting on funds to clear" and would respond again at the end of the following week. (Are you noticing the pattern?) No payment or communication. I emailed again on May 21, May 31, and June 25th - no response. Angela responded on June 25th saying that she'll refund both deposits on July 3rd. That date came and went with no payment. I emailed on July 6 and received no response. So I emailed on July 20 expressing my frustration with this process and her lack of communication and professionalism. I told her that if I did not receive the refunds by July 24th, that I would take further action to collect. She immediately emailed and called me. She said that she had a family emergency and did not have the funds to reimburse the full amount. I offered to accept half on July 24th and the balance on July 31. She agreed and I followed up with an email to document our agreement. On July 23rd, Angela texted me that she only had a portion of the 1st payment and said she'd try to get the remainder and send by Sunday July 26th. I followed up via text and requested that she NOT delay payment and instead send the amount she has in hand. I recommended that she add the remaining balance from this week into next week's payment. No response received. As of today, July 27th 2020 (4 whole months after initially requesting my 1st refund) I have not heard back from her and have not received a SINGLE reimbursement. Small claims court is in our future, unfortunately. Buyer BEWARE. I do not believe this is a legitimate business.
