He stared, checked the register, and handed me $5 and a quarter without a word. Yes, only two cents short. It's not the amount, it's the lack of communication. If there's a reason you're not giving exact change, speak up! Previously, a clerk answered a menu question with "I don't know." I had to prompt him to ask someone else. On another visit, my drink was forgotten. Today, the waitress made about three specialty drinks and poured six to eight fountain drinks before he even started my mangonada. Customers arriving around the same time and after me received drinks and food first. Between ringing people up, he paced and watched others work while I waited for one drink. Then it came out loaded with half-blended frozen mango chunks. C'mon man, 32 minutes, and it still wasn't properly blended? The kitchen and waitstaff were hustling. Heck, the owner was bussing tables, delivering table orders, and seating customers himself. The counter was another story. If you have downtime, check on the customer still waiting instead of watching everyone else work.
