Storybook Bakery has the most lovely hot cocoa bombs. My ordering experience was easy and the bombs were packaged up beautifully. They taste really great, too!

We got the Ube Loaded Cake, Ube Cream Puff, Ube Fatty Cookies, and Ube Blondie. Everything was amazing and, next time, we will definitely get more. Our favorite was the Ube Loaded Cake. I loved my Mother's Day treats!!

While there…read moreis no shortage of great filipino food in NYC, this place does something quite special which is hard to find - merging authentic filipino flavors in a well-crafted, delicious and new way. Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.

I called ahead to ensure they had the brownie available and the lady was super sweet on the call. She ensured me that they had a few brownies left but that they were going fast. I decided to order online so I could just stop by and pick it up. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and they started to prepare the brownie. This was my first time at this location and it was very clean and organized. I was in and out under 2 mins. Overall, the customer service was wonderful and the brownie was great. We arrived a minute or 2 before the time slot, but still received our cookies/cakes, so that was a pleasant surprise! The tres leches cake was delicious. I couldn't get enough of it. I wish I had gotten 4 of them. I was not a huge fan of the Chocolate Cheesecake. It was very dry compared to the Trés Leches. Overall, I gave this a 4 star because the Trés leches was so good and the quickness of the service.

Knowing it's veteran-owned makes me even happier to support them. The ice cream is consistently creamy without being overly sweet, which is harder to find than you'd think. Every flavor we've tried has been fantastic, and the staff is always genuinely kind and welcoming. The prices are reasonable, too, which makes it easy to stop by whenever the craving hits. My wife is always getting an "ice cream itch," so she'll randomly decide to "go check out the flavors" and somehow always comes home with ice cream for both of us. I'm certainly not complaining. My go-to order is the ube ice cream mixed with cookie dough, and yes, as a grown man,I still get rainbow sprinkles every single time. No shame. If you're in the Kempsville area and looking for a local business worth supporting, Sundae Scoop is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

I was impressed by the number of different flavors that they had available and they all sound delicious!! I ended up getting a Salted Caramel Butter pecan scoop in a waffle cone and my girlfriend got the banana pudding in a cup. Both were smooth and creamy and not overly sweet. The place was nice and clean with several places to sit and the young ladies that were working were kind and polite! Make sure you try it out and let me know your fave flavor!!

We always choose the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake since there's ample parking available, and the service is very good. Tonight I tried a new salad, the Lemon Basil Harvest Blend, and I appreciated our server, Jackeline M for asking if I preferred the dressing on the side. Yes, please! I'm so glad she asked! This mixed greens salad has some star ingredients that caught my eye: charred artichokes, green olives, and grilled balsamic chicken. Yum. I'll be ordering this salad again. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it! But, we always save room to share a trusty bc favorite dessert: the Wimbledon (strawberries with whipped cream crepes). Although it's no longer on the menu, the Greenbrier location always whips it up for us when we ask. It's an oldie, and a goodie! We enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Baker's Crust and find that our dinner catch ups over their delicious food and dessert are always long overdue. I boxed half of my salad to take home and Jackeline was kind in bringing me extra salad dressing to go. Very thoughtful. We'll be back soon!
