He has seen both doctors here and thinks they are both great. A plus is that he could use his frames from last time and just get new lenses. They ordered the new lenses and we came back a week later for them to replace. It only took them about 45 mins, so we went and spent time in the circle. A note on insurance- they will have you pay out of pocket and then when insurance processes, you will receive a reimbursement check in the mail.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

I came in specifically because I was feeling unwell and suspected a blood sugar issue--especially since lab work from a different clinic the prior week showed a fasting glucose level high enough to indicate diabetes. Despite explaining this, the Physician Assistant (PA) dismissed my concerns, told me I "didn't fit the profile" for diabetes, and ordered a thyroid panel instead. Three days later, the support staff called to tell me they lost my blood sample and needed me to come back in. When I expressed frustration that they lost my sample for a test I didn't even ask for--while still refusing to run the metabolic panel I actually needed--the staff member literally hung up on me. I only returned the next day because it is within walking distance of my house and I was having the same feeling again, wanting to get to the bottom of what was happening. While the PA on duty that day was attentive, she ended up sending me to the ER for my blood pressure. After waiting four hours at the hospital, the ER doctor confirmed it wasn't an emergency at all. To top it all off, I received another call from the urgent care informing me that they did eventually run a metabolic panel, and my A1C and fasting glucose levels are, in fact, indicative of diabetes. Between the PA completely dismissing a patient's concerns, the staff losing blood samples, and being hung up on, the lack of professionalism and competence here is alarming. Go somewhere else.

Of course, the second reading was better. He was very professional and compassionate! I saw Dr. Victor Nekrasov, who did a thorough examination and discussed the symptoms I've been having. I felt that his questions were good, and I did not feel rushed at all during my time with him. He prescribed a few meds, and I was on my way. They confirmed which pharmacy I preferred, and I opted for CVS located across the street. I was encouraged to return to the clinic and/or follow up with my PCP if symptoms did not improve. It was a very good experience overall, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend this facility to others.

I was looking for a new optometrist last year and since I work in Irvine 4 days a week, I decided to find one close to work that I could visit in the middle of a work day (instead of making a Saturday appointment in SD... who wants to go to appointments on their days off?!). To be honest, I just went with Love Optometry because #1 it was super close to my work (2 miles), and #2 it had good Yelp reviews. Well Yelp... thank you again for another great recommendation! Dr. Hwang was able to see me the same day as I had some discomfort with my eyes and also needed my annual exam so I could order more contacts. Turns out I had an eye infection :( Dr. Hwang was very detailed in explaining the health of my eyes and did not rush through any of our appointments. I've gone to Dr. Hwang a total of ~5 times since last year, and every single experience has been great. I can say this is the first time I've had an optometrist not make me feel like I was just another patient. Oh and he also remembered me after I called in for this year's appointment. :) If you want an honest, detailed doctor optometrist that cares more about your eye health than $$$, go see Dr. Hwang! a million thumbs up! I found this optometry through my insurance and did not know what to expect. I was greeted with friendly customer service and Dr. Hwang did my examination. He was very legit, straight to the point, didn't try to sell me on stuff that I did not need or upgrades on my glasses. I asked for his opinion on Lasik and he revealed his passion of optometry during this time. He did not try to refer me, instead he educated me on the pros and cons, so that I could make my own decision. Dr. Hwang is genuine and I like how it's a mom and pop store that doesn't try to sell you a bunch of upgrades; instead, they just want to help you maintain your vision. BEST Optometrist/doctor ever!!!!! I had an eye infection and after my visitation to 5 different doctors including MDs, they couldn't figure out the cause of it. I went to see Dr. Hwang and he was able to cured my eye infection and now I introduced all my friends with eye problems or needs prescriptions to see him. David is very good and knows his ways to help client improve vision issues. It is easy to get appointment with him, sometime even on the same day. The only down side, is the lense takes forever. They send the prescriptions to a lab and takes at least a week for it to be ready. read more

I…read moreonce switched to another optometrist because of my insurance and I ended up going back here for a second opinion from Dr. Bowman after the other Optometrist told me I needed corrective procedures. He explained and cleared things up for me, the other optometrist just wanted my insurance money! My experience has been great here.
