My fiancé and I ordered the Dominican breakfast, its eggs over medium, fried cheese, fried salami, mashed plantains with onions. Now I'm Hispanic and I love me a good Dominican breakfast but this was one of the best I've had ever! And trust me I've had many! Firstly the salami and cheese pieces were nice and big, I'm used to people being cheap and making them very small. Also we did pick up- so we were there a few waiting as it was made fresh, which I appreciate! The server I wish I would've got her name had us have a seat at the bar and got us water while we waited. She was such an aunty vibe and I loved it. I was observing others who were sitting down eating and their food looked so yummy! They were also equally out loud expressing how much they enjoyed their food. Also the plates are all decked out and even the tables they gave off love vibes! This place while very small, packed a punch. Me and my fiancé are going to come back probably this weekend to sit down and enjoy a meal and I'm so excited. Give this place a go for sure. My friend opted for a western omelette.. and devoured her meal. The tables were set lovingly The water glasses were the most sparkling I've seen at any restaurant in a long time. The water tasted great ...bright and clean. There were cute heart shaped themes throughout in RED GREEN AND WHITE. Music was the best! A combination of LIVELY LATINA & COOL CALM BLUES ... a nice way to relax on a Saturday morning. Didn't know about this spot until it appeared on a tiktok. They have just about everything you'd want at a Dominican carryout place and it's reasonably priced. You can get pork, chicken and beef cooked in various ways. Multiple rice options and pastelitos to choose from. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. The woman behind the glass was friendly and patient explaining to me what everything was. They have some tables there if you want to have a drink while dining in. I typically order take out Dominican food from providence so I was excited to try something close by Warwick saving me the drive. However after ordering from here I'll have to continue ordering and driving to providence for good Dominican food. First portion size for the price- portions were very small barely any protein on the steak dish. The chicken had enough protein but not enough rice to make it worth close to 30 dollars. I ordered pepper steak with plantains and grilled chicken with rice and beans with an order of sweet plantains for a total of 65.00!!!! dollars. This same order from several places in Providence would come in around 35.00 and much larger portion. I don't mind paying a premium for being closer however this is outrages. The chicken was missing flavor and not very typical of what you would expect from Latino cuisine. The pepper steak had zero sauce and was over cooked you should be able to dip your tostones in the sauce of this and that was not the case. One saving grace was the tostones they were fresh , crispy and tasty. read more
