Love the ambience, my burger was really delicious and the drinks were so good. I'm coming back soon. As this could easily become my comfort food spot. Our server was personable and gave great recommendations.

Omg I really enjoyed my solo date! Skylar was my waiter, he was so attentive. Although he's fairly new he navigated the menu like a long time employee. I asked for his recommendations, everything he recommended was super yummy.. I started with some deviled eggs! The splash of hot sauce complimented the eggs so well and the crunch of the bacon put a nice twist to it. I really enjoyed the filling it wasn't too sweet nor did it have a lot of extra ingredients. 10/10 for sure!! For my entree I went with the blackened snapper, I subbed mashed potatoes instead of the potato salad. I'm very particular about my potato salad I was too nervous to try it. After speaking with Paula I wish I would've tried it. No worries I'll come back just to try it. This snapper is good some of the best blackened snapper I've had. It was so moist and flaky the cream sauce made it even better. Chefs kiss for sure! 10/10 For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake, if you're a chocolate lover this will be your go to. Although it says cake to me it had more of like a fudge texture. The raspberry sauce really helped out with cutting the sweetness of the chocolate. The restaurants fairly small, they have a huge selection of alcohol. I wasn't able to order a drink I was still sobering up from the night before. The bartender I didn't get her name she was super pleasant and helpful as well! I'll most definitely recommend lounge here

Lounge Here is another East Dallas favorite. We met friends for dinner before Snowmegeddon happened. What makes them unique is their groovy, kitschy design. They've been a great add to the hood for a long time. The food is solid and they know how to cocktail. The menu changes each season as the bartenders come up with interesting creations. Their execution is really good and we're lucky to have them. I had two nice cocktails. Their Espresso Martini and Vieux Carre were perfect for a cold night. Everyone makes an Espresso Martini these days, but they can be hit or miss. It was the perfect balance of coffee, slightly sweet and frothy. Well done!! If you haven't had a Vieux Carre (photo 4) you should. It's a classic boozy rye cocktail with cognac, Benedictine, sweet vermouth, Peychauds and Angostura bitters. This boozy masterpiece is a classic New Orleans recipe named after the French Quarter ("old square") and created in the late 1930s by Walter Bergeron at the Hotel Monteleone's Carousel Bar. The delicious ingredients symbolize the diverse cultures of the French Quarter. Its well-documented origin story and rich flavor profile make it a classic staple of cocktail history. Go enjoy the fantastic service and quality at Lounge Here next time you're for a groovy evening. Salute @thejohnnycocktail #cocktails #cocktailphotography #neworleans Vieux Carre 3/4 oz. Rye 3/4 oz. My husband and I came in here after an evening at the arboretum and really enjoyed the experience! We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting Will. He was super helpful and patient as we had never been before! He recommended an off menu special of chicken wrapped in prosciutto on a bed of mashed potatoes with Asparagus and it was good!! We also really enjoyed the laid back but sophisticated atmosphere, it seemed like a great spot for a date or a dinner with a small group of friends. It's a smaller spot so I'd think a party of like 6+ check to see reservations.

Excellent vibes. Incredible, welcoming service. Good food. I wanted a little more out of the final product for each dish. Proteins were a little dryer and over seasoned, but maybe it was an off night!' Nothing at all was bad. Everything was good. But none of the food matched the excellence of the vibe and service.

Derby - 3/5 Scarlet - 3/5 Deviled Eggs - 4/5 Steak Frites - 3/5 Linguini Pasta - 3/5 Service was fantastic, a friendly and attentive waiter. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or dinner night friends. It is close and intimate, and even when full isn't too loud that you need to strain to hear. The food was decent overall. The steak was cooked medium but some parts of it came out more chewy than others. It also felt a bit over salted. The fries were tasty though some came out soggy while others came out crunchy. The pasta tasted alright. The drinks were about the same, good enough but not good enough to warrant another one.

Deviled eggs, the hot sauce is a great touch

The Lounge Here has an upscale 70s feel to it without being pretentious. It has been an East Dallas staple for several years now and we're making a point to consciously and intentionally frequent restaurants in our immediate area to keep the character of our neighborhood alive. We grabbed a couple of appetizers and settled in with some drinks, a steamy, boozy chai drink for me and as always for my husband a whiskey, neat. He had the same for round two but I decided to try something different, their cocktails have quirky names and mine was a Pear-odactyl. A martini style cocktail with pear liqueur, lime and I don't recall the other ingredients but it was delicious and I highly recommend it. We can't wait to come back and try their actual entrees but whether you live in the area or have to make the drive across town Lounge Here is definitely worth the visit, I promise you'll love it.

Ask the Community - Lounge Here

Is this place family friendly and is there space for a stroller?

It is a pretty small space but there are booths (if that's an option for you). There was a toddler the night I went, but the staff was overall very accommodating and I do believe they are considered family friendly. Not sure if they have kids menus…

Is there a dog friendly patio?

Are reservations required?

Not required but you can make them.

Music on Sunday?? What time does it start?

None that I'm aware of.

We'll definitely be coming back! We decided to head to Lower Greenville as part of a night out and decided on Apothecary. We made a reservation for 8.45pm and the place was busy but not packed. The space is beautiful, dimly-lit, and intimate with couches or small tables. We were seated at one of the small tables and both decided to sit on the couch side of the table. Most couples were doing the same and the tables were spread out enough so that we all felt we had enough space. We started with two drinks (Private Barrel Old Fashioned and French Kissing) and two appetizers (Oysters and the Cevichos) . The drinks came out with the Oysters. The Old Fashioned was solid; the French Kissing was a beautiful drink and delicious. The Oysters were served with a touch of salsa, and they were excellent. We ordered a second round of drinks (the Loch'D Inn and another French Kissing) and they arrived with the Cevichos. I'm not a huge fan of scotch, but the Loch'D Inn was very good, with the sweet foam on the drink being fantastic (when my date went to the restroom, I tried to get more of it with my fork it was that good... I really needed a spoon ). Now to the Cevichos, which were the highlight of the night. They were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, and I will come back just for those. They were savory while also having a nice citrus flavor... just delicious. The only downside is that you have to eat them somewhat quickly as the chips on the bottom will get soggy if left too long. We closed the night with the Japanese Elotes and a Pekin Tom cocktail, both of which were delicious. The Elotes had so much flavor. Regarding the Pekin Tom, I appreciate that the smoke had a light flavor as the smoke in so many smoked cocktails overpowers the drink itself. That was not the case here -- really well done. The service is also top notch. Our server came by often, but never interrupted while we were deep in conversation. Another gentleman also checked on us twice. I don't know with certainty but I think he was either the manager or the bartender. He always asked about the drinks and made excellent recommendations.

Our first time we went to alchemy, the service and drinks were great. We even got a couple apps for happy hour. The pics are from that visiti. Our second time we went to archive, which has a more traditional feel. And quite a bit later, and probably a better conversation area. How drinks have some classic? But there's definitely some unique ones. We tried a hot dog water, which is not for everybody. And probably not for us but love that they are getting adventurous. We also had a recommendation from the server for a drink that tasted like pozole... I would have never picked that, but it was delicious. Highly recommend for drinks.

Small place but it made the experience a bit intimate especially in the low light. Sat at the bar and had a couple of spicy margaritas which were really great - not too sweet out sour. Bartenders were very friendly and took care of us and seemed to care for everyone at the bar. Saw the manger walking around and genuinely seem interested in making sure everyone was happy. Food was delicious. Started with the Focaccia bread which was fresh and hot and a great appetizer. We ordered the pork chops and filet mignon. Both were incredible and we enjoyed the meal so much I bought some flank steaks the next day to grill and some focaccia bread to bake just to experience something similar at home again. This is definitely a place we would visit again!

Our trio is vegetarian, and the prix fixe options were not v.f. However, Gary and staff were understanding, and adjusted the selections to fit our needs. The dishes were plated beautifully, there was no delay in service, and they did not serve a side dish of "attitude." Thankfully, as we were dining after 6pm, the dining rooms were not SRO, nor were their guests on the patio, or we certainly would not put upon the kitchen crew the adjustments. The setting and space of McRae's is refreshingly unique, cozy and welcoming. Dress up or down, you'll always feel welcome. And the previous times we have dined there, , the food is always prepared with attention, servings generous and the taste is superb. The creme brûlée? Truly, "tres magnifique." With a covered patio, McRae's is ready for any weather conditions in Dallas. There is also a full bar, and our wine pours were not stingy. "Thanks again" Gary and crew, for your hospitality, support and ever delicious food. "Support local and independent" knowing that McRae's is a top choice and standout in this category.

He literally told me, "If a drop of rain comes, then I'll give it to you." It had rained for much of the day, and multiple customers were asking about the same promotion. If the requirement is that rain must physically be falling while you order, that needs to be clearly stated in the advertisement. Otherwise, the promotion feels misleading. I've been to Parliament several times and have never had a bartender interpret the rainy-day happy hour this way. I ended up ordering a smoked Old Fashioned from another bartender I've had before, and it was great. He was friendly, engaging, had great energy, and even did tricks while making the drink. I still enjoyed my cocktail, but it would've been nice to have the option to order from the happy-hour menu as advertised that day. I'm including the Instagram post for reference. I'm very disappointed as I've never not had a good time at Parliament. I really think that the owner should look at the Times stamps around 930 to 10:15pm part night and see the difference of business and traffic flow from when the taller bartender with the glasses versus the shorter Bartender with the glasses was at the front as it was instantly more business. Oh and lastly, I left my Betsy JOHNSON purple umbrella. I'm so sad and they don't have a number to call.
