They also were really good about getting us water when we asked for it and not forgetting/ignoring like happens and some other clubs. The place was clean and beautiful, and it felt like a safe place where women can have fun without worry of unwanted sexual harassment. We loved the waterfall fixtures and lighting by the seats. Music was okay... though the DJ had a real dependency on using alarm SFX. It became a joke by the end of the night. We loved the staff. The bartenders were awesome when we arrived. The bouncer and front desk attendant were very nice. Our favorite was David, the security guy, who was kind enough to fix one of our girls' broken shoe and also pulled an intoxicated guy out of our dance circle. Overall, we had a fun time and decided the lower key scene was more our speed than the club across the street that had a police K-9 unit parked in front of it.

My best friend, who lives locally, told us about the place. We were hesitant leaving the comfort of 2nd street, but we followed her down Pine Street and stopped at the entrance to "Madam Knock's Pine Street Beauty Parlor." After giving the bouncer the weekly password (this can be found on their facebook /knock.hbg, twitter @knock_hbg, or instagram @knock_hbg), we went up a flight of stairs and entered the Beauty Parlor. The Beauty Parlor was set up perfectly, and after giving the password one more time, the bookshelf vanished to the side.... and TA DA! We entered the Speakeasy, a whole new world. The music was pumping, the drinks were flowing, people were dancing, the lights were low, and we were in for a good time. The entire bar/ club has a Prohibition-era style fashion with dark hardwood floors, lots of purple, and chandeliers. The bar was located all the way to the back, which is also where the exit is. There is a dance floor in the middle, and centered is a DJ. There are a few seating areas in addition to the VIP sections. I think there was a total of 3 VIP sections which ran about $250 + per a night. The drinks were fruity and presented well- I wish I could comment on the price, but I really can't recall. You can browse their drink menu on their website. Knock is only open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM until 2 AM. This is a Harrisburg MUST.
