    My favorite Lot Less
    Johanna B.

This was and always will be my favorite Lot Less store location. Granted, they are a discount store but there are so many fun things to buy at bargain prices. Who doesn't love a bargain? I wouldn't buy shoes or clothing here but there are some great finds at Lot Less. This particular location has a large Christmas section. I browsed here last night and purchased two very adorable Father Time/Santa miniature figurines-for the tree or just decor. Only $3.99 each. I still like their mini food section with some pretty darn good olive oils and imported sweets. Toiletries such as shampoos and body wash are usually a hit purchase. This location is spacious and orderly. Whenever I am in the area, I'll swing by and usually leave with a bag in hand. A variety of merchandise that's always changing.

YES YES YES! My love for discount stores just went up. Sadly, I had to be mindful that I wasn't at home & I came to NY with only a carry-on -- NEVER AGAIN. If not, I would've bought the store up! Some people knock these types of stores but why pay high prices for a "brand" when you can get that same "brand" for cheap. Is it real? Well can you read is my response. Plus the brand tags are right there for you to see & if that's your main concern then this might not be the store for you. I picked up a nice Perry Ellis sweater with a retail value of $70 and only paid $7.99, a nice winter vest retail value $65 and paid $10 & a plethora of $3.99-$4.99 under garments. I just love a good deal, personally. So if I do make another trip to NY, I will be sure to come with an empty suitcase & stock up !

So, you know how you have Ross, Marshall's and TJmax... well this place is like a low scale Walmart turned Ross. I mean come on Ross has a security guard what does that tell you? I could not make sense of this store, find anything or an employee to assist us. My husband claimed a ladder to get our product we were wanting from the top shelf because we could not find an employee. Things on the shelves were all sorts of a mess. The prices were ok. Definitely lower for some products. Our cashier was great. She was polite and helpful.

To seek bail from the oppressive heat while in the Downtown Financial District, I sought the nearest retail store, Lot Less Closeouts, for a cool down to intake their air conditioning. With a vivid memory this retail space was once the former home to Strand Book Store. There are many good deals where patrons can still take the American Dollar further for home furnishings as towels, shower curtains, books and a limited DVD selection. Aisles are not entirely cramped with merchandise. It appears whatever was unsold at mega department stores from five seasons ago are now sold at half price at discounted stores like Lot Less. Don't bother to inquire for assistance as customer service is nonexistent.

Unbelievable! This place sells expired food. Or food that will expire in just a few days. Had the pleasure of dealing with the "assistant manager" Paris in an attempt to return said food product and he must have woken up on the wrong side of bed today because boy was he a complete bastard! This must be his first real job. Here is some advise to Lot-Less, train your people to treat customers with respect. Your assistant manager Paris was rude and obnoxious this morning to a customer who frequents your establishment on a regular basis. Also, please, get that grill fixed. Yuk!

Lots of discounted items but you have to pick from what they have. Cheaper than most other stores in nyc. Found items like toothpaste and snacks to be much cheaper than cvs or Walgreens.

You sure do pay a lot for packaging. $4.99 vs. $2.99 @ lot less

Are the name brands real? My husband thinks they are knock offs.

They seem real. Help me what you mean by name brands. All of the items in the store are technically name brands vs. Lot Less brands/no frills. I WILL say that among many other things, I've purchased Reebok athletic bottoms from there 6 or so years… Read more

We got to the water / domino park (where they hand out the wrist bands) at 8:50am. They start handing them out at 8:30am. NO ONE WAS THERE. We picked out of the bag and got in the high 50's!! I understand they're trying to make it fair. However, the problem wasn't that we pulled a high number. The problem was that at 11am, security let so many people cut the line. Those who had wrist bands and those who didn't. We even saw one of the security guard's give out a wrist band at 11:30am (which they have been telling everyone they wouldn't do after 10:30). That person is already in the store and we're still waiting in line. We're so upset and refuse to come again on a drop day. FAIL BY SECURITY. Go to the Manhattan store. Don't waste your time at this location. Unfriendly staff when you're paying an arm and a leg. I would give it 0/5 if I could. We were regulars - here 2/3 times a week. No longer will we do that.

They got Hersheys, Lindt, Ferrero, and other Swiss brands that are expensive in other places. Nothing can beat Lot Less when it comes to affordability and practical goods useful for your home. They have almost everything you need from chargers, socks, undergarments, pajamas, household condiments, bath goods, curtains, bed sheets, coffee makers, bowls, pots and pans, and even pet products! This past weekend, I went here and noticed they carry these LABUBU dolls that were off brand dolls called La Bambino. I couldn't believe a lot of stores are carrying these knock offs. They were cute and the face looked almost similar to the real LABUBU. But who were they fooling because there were pieces of plastic on the face. I found that atrocious and just wondered if the manufacturer care to think to make them more appealing and presentable without the tape. I guess they forgot to remove the tape. I thought it was funny and cool to get one to play pranks on someone. They called the LABUBU knock offs LAFUFU so I got myself a brown and beige. They were still pretty pricey in my opinion for a fake one at $9.99! Oh wells. This is the 3rd location that is very close to my job. I cannot believe I have 3 Lot Less locations close by my job. If one Lot Less sells out on a certain product then I can go to the other location. What I like the most about this location is that it is stroller friendly so I don't need to worry about the stairs like the other 2 locations. Although this location is the smallest one.

Right by the entrance got plastic wheeled baskets and large net tote bags to carry your clothes in while you shop. I did not expect the store to have those baskets so big so you know the store is very cheap and affordable. Most of the customers there had a lot of stuff inside their baskets. The store surprisingly was very affordable with clothes averaging $20 or lower than that. They had clothes for women, men, children, and babies with home goods and accessories. This store had many levels you can access by escalators and elevators. There were self checkout systems that you had to scan your receipt to get out of the self checkout section. I've never seen this type of system in any store in New York City before where you scan the receipt to get out. There was so much to look at and it took me around 1.5 hours to check out the whole store. There was so much variety in every department. The style is similar to Old Navy with a lot of clothes made out of in linen. The store is very organized and neat. All the clothes are not out of place and They had cheap flats in stock that were made out of faux leather. They cost $9 and were wide enough and soft for my feet. They were really comfortable and fit true to size. I bought a pastel pink pair of flats in size 7. I keep wearing them to this day. The toddler and kids section had many styles and clothes to go through. They had a lot of t-shirts of different colors and designs for $4. I stocked up on those. They had Henley and cotton t-shirts. Another thing I liked about the toddlers section was the underwear. They had a maximum of 10 underwear in one bag. Also they had nice tank tops and camisoles for toddlers on sale. The camisoles were snugged and small to size so it's recommended to go up one more size. Overall, this store is a nice store for cheap finds. Everything is very stylish and in fashion here. This store is for anyone who cannot afford expensive stylish clothes.

Date of visit: April 13, 2026…read more Initially we thought this was a smaller Primark store due to the footprint of the building, but it turned out to be quite sizable and full of the things we know and love (and don't need but buy anyway) about Primark! On the disappointing side was that some of the escalators were broken and stairs were either not clearly marked or not an option, requiring us to use a relatively slow elevator to make our way to the floor where the Men's items were located. Despite that, and our already heavy luggage, we still found a number of items to bring back home with us as gifts, plus some clothes for us!
