I will start out by saying that I was never a fan of Marshall's. That is until I found this one glorious example of what every Marshall's should model themselves after! I have only known of this Marshall's location for about the last 2 years. You'd never think a Marshall's would be there. On Washington Street across from One World Trade and a block away from the water by Battery Park City. I only noticed this because I was headed to the Battery Park Regal. I had some time before my movie so I figured I'd kill some time. I wasn't terribly excited because I never had a good Marshall's experience, but I digress. This location is two floors down deep which kills cell service so if youre waiting for any important calls, you won't get them! I cant express how highly impressed I was with everything about this Marshall's. From the items in stock to the cleanliness and the layout, to the selection and the very friendly associates. 2 big floors. The first floor has women's and children's clothing, shoes, holiday items, and health/beauty items. The floor down has men's clothing, pet supplies and household items. A few times a year they have big clearance events. Each department will have their own separate clearance shelves. I've found some GREAT deals during those huge sales. I've found a few different Kate Sommerville cleansers, that are normally $30, for only $10 or $12. Even when they dont have these big events, they always have the clearance sections. I always make a beeline directly to them. Especially the beauty section. I love how they group and display the beauty items in separate colors. Very pleasing to the eye. They have Nars, Anastasia, etc. makeup for awesome prices. I even get my Secret Clinical deodorant for only $6 here. Lots of clothing variety as well. Lots of my favorite brands like Michael Kors and Lucky Brand. Gotten so many cute items here. Got a $110 Michael Kors burgundy hoodie here for only $28 on clearance. Got an Abercrombie sweater for only $8! A decent sized plus-sized section. Spacious and clean dressing rooms. So many different candles. Got the best ever non-stick ceramic pan. The pantry section is surprisingly great. Found so many great new snacks here. Awesome pet section, too. Again, especially in the clearance section! I've done A LOT of damage here. They have cashiers on both floors but mostly just the ones on the upstairs level are ever open. The line could get long at times but they do go pretty fast. Theyre CONSTANTLY asking if you want to sign up for theit credit card. One day I'm going to spill the beans and tell them that I'm very irresponsible when it comes to shopping so stop asking me to sign up for that! I feel like I come here at least once a week. I'll be there tomorrow! My favorite days are hitting up Gong Cha, shopping at Marshall's, going to the Regal down the block and then sitting by the river. Thats my zen place. read more

Date of visit: April 12, 2026 This location is very sneakily hidden on the edge of the World Trade Center complex--we actually had walked past it a couple times without even knowing it was there! There are signs as you enter that they are remodeling, and while this is true, there are areas that were not being remodeled that definitely needed some TLC, such as the entry area that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since before COVID. The store is multiple levels and probably the largest Marshall's I've ever been to, though the layout of the building makes navigating a bit tricky in some instances, such as the L-shaped men's area. Staff were nonexistent as we navigated the store and were barely present for checkout as well. We did find a couple things and took advantage of the no sales tax on clothing in New York, too! read more

I returned and I like this Marshall's a lot. No, not for the clothes although their clothing section resembles a department store. I usually buy my clothes at Banana Republic or Macy's. There is a lot going on at this Marshall's. Gift giving season is here and there's so much to choose from. I see myself buying dog toys for those in my family who own pets and houseware stuff. A great selection of coffees (try Bones if you see it), kitchen and bath towels, soap, children's toys, holiday decor and more. Hey if Marshall's is your thing, this location doesn't disappoint. read more

This location was cute. It's big and had about two the three floors. It was very clean and organized with plenty of gems to find. Located all the way downtown, like around the corner or across from the World Trade, it probably would benefit from tourist who are visiting and may want to drop in and shop. Customer service was just like all the other locations, pretty good if you find someone besides a cashier to give assistance. The beauty section was a plus. You could find all kinds of goodies from designer to Korean skincare. The prices are always good as well. If your in the area for whatever reason its a good one to visit. This is a nice Marshalls but couldn't find any baby items in this location. It is very deep down. You have two levels underneath the first floor so there is no phone signal but there is WiFi. Although the WiFi did not work on my phone today so it sucked. My phone just did not have service! There are cashiers on both levels so you don't need to line up on the first level. They have a good amount of beauty and cosmetics in stock. Nice selection of kids' book bags and purses. Today I came here to check out the Halloween decor and they have a nice selection of Hello Kitties that dance and sing. There was also a 2 feet big Hello Kitty witch stuffed animal for $29.95! It's a good price for that size! I quickly bought it because it was so cute and big. They got a lot of Martha Stewart decor that is very pretty for any holidays. Lots of decor for sale. The clothing section especially with the dresses are mostly flimsy in my opinion. The laced ones are very thin and sheer. Not enough coverage. I love their 99 cents shopping tote bags! They have nice prints although some of them look weird. It's a repetitive patterned print. This time for 2025 Halloween, they got the ghost theme with cute ghosts everywhere. read more

I have to say, I was throughly impressed by this Marshall's location with their variety of literally everything. I was staying downtown with one of my very good friends and she recommended this location and said it had a great selection. I believed her, but I was leery per my recollection/experiences with Marshall's stores in the past having poor variety. But my friend was right. Amazing deals to be had and I was able to find rare items for killer prices to stock up on. For now, this is my favorite Marshall's location and I plan to continue shopping here. read more

This location is very well hidden. I was wandering around Lower Manhattan when I spotted this store. This location is huge, and not very busy. I am amazed that Marshall's is able to sell high end goods at a deep discount. I found Godiva Truffles for $16.99. The Secret Garden Tea for $4.99, and a Dwell Studios coffee mug for $5.99. My mom is a huge fan of Marshalls. Seems like a very 'mom' place to like-- endless racks filled with floral blouses and designer brands at a discount, has lured my mom into visiting her local outpost in Brooklyn several times a week to snag the best deals. When I took her on a mom & daughter hang for the day, we toured lower Manhattan, where she went to college, and when we realized we were passing her favorite store we had to step in. This location is decidedly mid. For one, you have to go down into a basement, so the whole place is windowless, giving it a stale feel since the only lighting is the yellow-ish mall lighting. I've been to this location twice with my mom and everything has been picked over to to death and the selection is never good, whether for shoes, dresses, tops, or home goods. Don't even bother looking at the meager sunglasses section. Century 21 nearby has not come back with a force, but it has returned, and I found their selection to be much more modern than the one at Marshalls. read more

Seeing Marshall's in NY was very refreshing!My son and I walked from our hotel near the World Trade Center which was a short walk from there. Why refreshing? From CAlifornia, it was cool to see what kind of product would be carried. Fashionable merchandise, cute shoes, shoe bags for travel!--Items, a variety of my merchandise needs were taken care of which truly helped settle my nerves before getting on my 4-hour flight back to CAlifornia. This place was a life-saver! I literally wore my shoes down from all the walking I did to the point that the soles just came off!?! I was desperately in need of footwear to get back to my hotel. I had come across a Target but they very oddly did not sell shoes (at least that's what the Customer Service desk rep said). I mean, how hard should it be to find a pair of shoes in NYC!? It was legit a nightmare, especially in this area...I was told about the Oculus, but did t want to drop $150+. Thankfully, as I was walking the shortest route back to the hotel, I came across this godsent of a Marshalls! In and out in less than 15mins w/a new pair of deeply discounted comfy footwear!!! Marshall's Washington Street Financial District I'm a huge fan of these stores that sell brand names for less. I know where all the Marshall's Stores are located and have been to each of them on various occasions. This store in the Financial District is not one of my favorite due to the layout. It's way down in the bowels of the building. For some reason I get frightened being down there. I only visit this location when I'm with my daughter. There's times when she has me searching everywhere with her when she's looking for a particular item. That's one good thing about Marshall's, you can usually find what you're looking for. Customer Service is typical hit or miss depending on the mood of the employee. Check out this cost savings location if you're in the neighborhood. read more

Stumbled in here almost accidentally. It's hidden pretty well, but it really is nice. Very clean. Well organized. Spots to charge your cell phone in those "locker storage" type cases. I love THIS Marshalls. I remembered when it first opened by my job and I was there during lunch every other week just so I could browse! It's open space floor plan and organized shelves keep my department store anxiety at bay for majority of my shopping time there. Pros: did I already mentioned how organized this place is? I've been to plenty of Marshalls where I'm greeted by overturned shoe boxes and clothes on the floor. But not here! I like how I can actually see in between aisles and not feel claustrophobic. I feel like they have a bigger selection of things and more trendier clothes (at times). I appreciate the home goods section on a completely different floor as well. I don't need to be distracted when I'm on a mission. In terms of waiting on the cashier line, in my opinion it's never excessively long. Don't get me wrong, you'll wait on average 15 minutes but I've never seen a line that made me question whether it's worth it or not. Cons: I don't know what kind of witch craft this place has that makes me spend twice the amount I budgeted in my head beforehand. Also, if you don't know the area, it may be hard to find because it's in a nook. Overall, this location is my go to savings place and would recommend anyone who's probably already shopping in the area to just add this to their stop. read more

This is my favorite Marshall's location. The store is big - 2 floors down - and the sections are plentiful and the inventory is never lacking here. I always find something nice that I would want so it's on myself to not always purchase something from the store. The store is neatly organized and the items are grouped in a way that make sense. If you are not familiar with the area then this location is a little hard to find since it's not in a super heavy pedestrian zone. This is the least appreciated Marshalls in NYC. The reason for that is that nobody knows about it. If you are trying to locate this store travel west on Barclay street and then turn left onto Washington, just past Greenwich, and walk 200 feet. This location is very large and very clean. I went in as the store opened and I found it to be eerily quiet. There were bargains if you knew where to look. I spotted Magnolia liquid soap on sale for $4.00. I found a Eurographics Puzzle for $12.99. Next was Cremo shave creme for $4.99, and lastly Abercrombie and Fitch men's cologne for $14.99. This marshalls is pretty big for being where it is. I usually like to go to TJmaxx on wall st but it gets pretty packed on the weekdays. Marshalls on the other hand is more spacious and there isn't as much traffic. My only gripe about it would be that it's 2 floors down so you get no reception what so ever. The clothes selection is ok. I tend to find pants here more than shirts. I like how organized the shoes are compared to tjmaxx. The home goods are also pretty large in terms of what they have. They also have bigger designer brands compared to TJMaxx. I would find bags that are $1000+ here. Not that they are my price range, but it would be nice to get a lower price range selection too. Overall, I enjoy shopping here from time to time. read more

Sometimes this location has great deals which is really rare lol and the staff is not so friendly. We even seen security following people that wasn't sealing and the people that was sealing got away. Their inventory on larger men sizes are low and all the same. Sneakers for men are like non existent. read more

I'm a huge fan of Marshalls. It's one of those stores where you find everything (clothes for everyone, home decor, toys, electronics, make up, etc.) at a reduced priced. I'm so glad they open one near FiDi. This location opened not long ago and it's a bit off the path so you might miss it if not looking for it. It has 2 full floors and little mezzanine. I don't know if it's because this is a new location but this store is very clean and organized. The staff working there is friendly. The cashiers are a bit slow, even though the line wasn't long. This is like a dungeon Marshalls. I would have expected better from New York fashion but didn't get it here. It seemed to be the Thrift store of Marshall's! Didn't like it at all. Visit this Marshalls, if only to see what a discounter could look like if their shoppers returned stuff back to the racks they found them, if patrons didn't feel the need to toss toilet paper in the bathrooms as if they wanted to play soccer with toilet paper sheets, and if forlorn, overworked retail workers weren't too run down to put everything back in place that were misplaced by inconsiderate shoppers. This Marshalls just opened, and late at night when I visited, it was still clean, shiny and organized. As with all discounters, my strategy is always to stop in, see if the store had the item I needed and flee before I get a headache from all the messiness and shopping in general. This Marshalls was a pleasure to pop into, even though it was downstairs(stores below ground have never been favorites of mine). The sales staff were friendly, and quite helpful in pointing out where departments where. There were even phone chargers on one floor and seats for weary shoppers or people waiting for their shopping buddies. If you've ever shopped at Marshalls, you would know they have everything from active wear to luggage to scales to kitchenware. Due to this location, I could see this store becoming a favorite among tourists. A nice addition to the area for people who can't afford the pricey designer stores in Brookfield place or for those who can and still want a bargain. Check out this five star location because in a few months, it will probably lose all that gives it the high rating! read more

Very very nice Marshall's. I was really impressed how big the store was and well stocked being In from Ca and Marshall's are sometimes hit or miss. You would truly be encouraged to purchase anything from the store had you just came to browse. I even used the cell phone charging case that was available to customers upon entering the store, that an additional star alone. The only downfall was the wait time of the checkout line there were about 6 lines opened but I guess everyone decided to come to Marshall's al at the same time. Just wish the associates had better customer service skills being they were talking amongst one another when It was my turn to checkout. That's really a pet peeve of mine for associates to have a conversation while assisting their guest. The young pregnant associate waited on me however never once said one word to me and I just stood there while they talked amongst one another. I would definitely visit again read more

I dont understand why this dept store is always empty. They are never fully stocked always look like it's going out of business. They rotate the merchandise to fast not giving the customers who work in the area enough time to come back to purchase items they saw a week prior. read more

This is the best Marshall's I've ever been to in the country and probably the best I ever will! It is HUGE. It's way bigger and less cluttered than any other Marshall's. There's ease walking through the aisles regardless of the time of day or day of the week because it's so large. It's two floors. It's also extremely clean comparably. There is a good selection of beauty products and home decor. Their men's sections are also bigger than usual. The children's section is also big. They seem to get the most trendy selection of street wear and their shoe department is also a good size. I've never had a problem with service here and the line always moves fast. The only drawback is that the store can be difficult to find. read more

The seasonal staff is pretty nice. The store manager was a poker-faced nasty woman. I think her name was Mary Ann. The checkout took forever since someone had taken off the tags of one of my items. I should bill them for wasted time. The staff doesn't know the products. One lady who was selling credit cards was very helpful and sweet. read more
