My first time going to Primark was the location in Downtown Brooklyn. I did not know what was Primark and decided to check inside. Right by the entrance got plastic wheeled baskets and large net tote bags to carry your clothes in while you shop. I did not expect the store to have those baskets so big so you know the store is very cheap and affordable. Most of the customers there had a lot of stuff inside their baskets. The store surprisingly was very affordable with clothes averaging $20 or lower than that. They had clothes for women, men, children, and babies with home goods and accessories. This store had many levels you can access by escalators and elevators. There were self checkout systems that you had to scan your receipt to get out of the self checkout section. I've never seen this type of system in any store in New York City before where you scan the receipt to get out. There was so much to look at and it took me around 1.5 hours to check out the whole store. There was so much variety in every department. The style is similar to Old Navy with a lot of clothes made out of in linen. The store is very organized and neat. All the clothes are not out of place and They had cheap flats in stock that were made out of faux leather. They cost $9 and were wide enough and soft for my feet. They were really comfortable and fit true to size. I bought a pastel pink pair of flats in size 7. I keep wearing them to this day. The toddler and kids section had many styles and clothes to go through. They had a lot of t-shirts of different colors and designs for $4. I stocked up on those. They had Henley and cotton t-shirts. Another thing I liked about the toddlers section was the underwear. They had a maximum of 10 underwear in one bag. Also they had nice tank tops and camisoles for toddlers on sale. The camisoles were snugged and small to size so it's recommended to go up one more size. Overall, this store is a nice store for cheap finds. Everything is very stylish and in fashion here. This store is for anyone who cannot afford expensive stylish clothes. read more

Date of visit: April 13, 2026 Initially we thought this was a smaller Primark store due to the footprint of the building, but it turned out to be quite sizable and full of the things we know and love (and don't need but buy anyway) about Primark! On the disappointing side was that some of the escalators were broken and stairs were either not clearly marked or not an option, requiring us to use a relatively slow elevator to make our way to the floor where the Men's items were located. Despite that, and our already heavy luggage, we still found a number of items to bring back home with us as gifts, plus some clothes for us! read more

This Primark store is in a prime location in downtown Brooklyn, inside CityPoint. The store has three floors full of merchandise from children's clothes, toys, beauty items, women and men's clothes plus travel luggage and bags including some household items. The service lacks due to limited staff. The products I've purchased are very good quality for the reasonable price points. It never fails, each time I visit the store I always leave with something. read more

Had a nice mommy and daughter day. My daughter was able to pick out a few outfits and a cute purse, as well as scroll stitch items. I had to return something & forgot about it. On the last day I remembers luckily so I end up returning my items here. I didn't realize how huge this primark is & so many items aren't actually there on my island's store! I will definitely become broke if I come to shop here lol..! Too addictive to avoid, I am so glad it's not near me ! Customer service wasn't that great, it was little disappointing! Hope it's not like this every day. Visited today and tried to buy an item at the self checkout on the 2nd floor. Oh Lordy... - Scanned item and it came up with the wrong price. Manager finally came over after helping someone else withba faulty machine and manually input tbe correct price. - Paid for it with credit card, processed it and then the screen froze before printing my receipt. - Manager had to get a PAPER FORM in 2025 to request a refund from my credit card company. If I wanted the item, I had to BUY IT AGAIN!! Too much stupidity for me. I left without it. I'm assuming I won't get a refund either, since apparently this particular store appears to be located in BEDROCK in a prehistoric time zone. Such a complete waste of my time. This is the main reason why online shopping is the only way to go. read more

Pay for a paper bag or be harassed by store security. I literally had receipt in hand, walked right passed the security guard and was still stopped, meanwhile people packing their purchases in paper bag or personal bags don't get stopped. Not to mention the actual shoplifters. And if you tell security, guess what? They don't even do anything. Also, if you're shopping for a baby, its so difficult to find most sizes here. You're better off going to the Staten Island location. It is much better. Many clothes on the floor here, when asking the workers about it, I was given the answer "if they don't have a hanger or tag, we just place them on top of the shelf hooks"... so basically clothes being on the floor is a normal thing. Didn't see anything I'd get for myself, but i must say, they had nice pajama sets. I decided on just grabbing a few things for my nephew. I hope he likes them. I only recently became somewhat familiar with Primark. I walked through the store in Kings Plaza, a few years back, but never really knew what they sold. However, within the last two years, my daughter got a few clothing items there, that she liked. When the Downtown Brooklyn location opened and took over the former Century 21 location, I figured I'd give it a shot. My daughter was gifted a plaid sweater jacket from here and I came to purchase the same jacket, but in an alternate color. The store is similar to an H&M, in terms of quality, but they also sell home items and other trinkets. The staff here was friendly and helpful. I had never heard of Primark until visiting New York recently and found out it's a pretty reasonable discount retailer out of the UK. Smashing! My partner wanted to come here because they had seen online that there were Barbie merch exclusive to the UK being sold here. We came and conquered - left with some pillows and keychains that meant we needed to buy another duffle to take everything home. The store itself was really nice. Three floors of discount shopping with a variety of home goods and fast fashion. If I was more in a mood for shopping, I'd likely spent a bit more time here browsing. read more

I came to NY all the way from CA, and we don't have any Primarks where I am so I wanted to see what all the hype was about! I have seen Primark mentioned online by UK bloggers and seen so many cute clothing items from them so I was excited to go in person. Immediately upon entering the store I thought dang this place is huge! And omg this cute hat is so cheap, so are these trendy sunglasses, and these T-shirts, and socks, shoes, home goods...the list goes on! As a bargain hunter, Primark hit the spot for me. As for the quality, time will tell. It's definitely a fast fashion place. I mainly got a few trendy items, a Tshirt for working out, a couple of basic tshirts (one that I wore during the trip because the weather was so hot and I wasn't prepared for the humidity here), some socks, a bra (I heard they have surprisingly good underwear), a hat, and a couple pairs of shoes. I'll try to make an updated edit here after a few wears and washes, but I don't think anyone is fully expecting these cheap items to last very long. My bar isn't set high, but I certainly love a pleasant surprise. This place satisfied my shopping itch, and for the price you really can't beat it. It's very similar to Forever 21 or Target, but I think the prices are lower and the clothes are cuter. Maybe it has to do with its UK origins. I love their low prices and selection of clothes. However, I am not liking their aggressive security guards who decided for me to take out every single thing that I bought, even though I scanned my receipt at the self checkout, which allowed me to leave. They told me it's because I used my own bag. Well, I chose not to buy a bag and your cameras also took pictures of when I loaded my own bag and my receipt was required to scan. They told me to take out every single item and then had to cross check it on the receipt, but they let probably 5 to 6 other people who also use their own bags to leave without stopping them which I pointed out. They said they were busy with me. I told him I did everything I was supposed to do what is so suspicious about buying three items and putting it in my own bag when you don't give me a free bag. The security guard was so slow that he didn't even know how to cross check the receipt and the item. So I had to point out what numbers to look at on the tags for him to check on the receipt. I have no problem with being checked but the way they did it and their explanations were totally unacceptable. If you're going to check me know what you're looking for and actually check other people that also have their own bags. I had to go through three different types of checks and some people did none. It wasn't clear why they were doing what they were doing, and I felt like they were just making up reasons to stop me. I've never even been stopped this extensively at a Walmart. So if you're gonna go be prepared to be thoroughly screened for no good reason and for the rules to be made up as they go. read more

Open the self checkout registers. To only have 3 self checkout stations working when there are more than 10 there is unacceptable! More than half an hour in line for card transaction for 2 socks??? Located in the former Century 21 (which I still miss), Primark recently (as in a few weeks ago) found a home here. I randomly dropped in yesterday and wasn't too impressed. The quality of the items are kind of cheap but this is a discount store after all. There were some positive points--clean layout, a few good finds and self checkout. I could see myself buying pajamas and socks here but as far as clothing and shoes, they probably won't last long. That could be a good thing considering the inexpensive price points. Men's and kid's sections were extensive. Funnily enough, I did end up making a purchase. It was a small cream colored backpack I'll use for my laptop. Happy shopping! read more

If you've ever thought to yourself "boy do I love H&M and Old Navy, but they're just waaaay too pricey," boy do I have the spot for you. Seriously unfathomably low prices here--e.g., $4 for two pairs of fleece gloves, $4.50 for a t-shirt... I kind of presumed the quality of the items would be atrocious but they are not bad at all. It ain't designer, but not does it look like the proverbial "you get what you pay for" - again, considering you paid like $2-$4. Beyond clothes, seems like a good place to pick up useful home or electronics accessories (bought hangers and a phone charger) at incredible bargains. If they skimp anywhere (and I assume they have to) it's in packaging and bagging--my bag fell apart quickly despite not being too heavily filled. I also can't help but have some latent concerns about the potential larger scale implications of such prices, or wonder how peoples wages might be negatively impacted. But knowing nothing and wandering into this store post-movie, I couldn't help but be pleased with my small, affordable haul. read more

Pretty Cool Brand New Primark, This Brooklyn second own. in the heart of Fulton Street mall-Downtown Brooklyn. The other is located in the Kings Plaza Shopping Mall on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue U. I love Primark. I remembered before it was popular in New york. I would go to the Primark in Danbury, Connecticut (Danbury County Mall). I believe there is an Irish-English (British) Clothing company. I'm glad to see there Grew there Presence here in Brooklyn. there open today on their Grand Opening day December 20, 2022. I'll definitely shop here in the Kings Plaza shopping mall location. Primark is a store I heard of on Instagram it has always been a place I wanted to shop at. I was super excited when I heard there would be another location in Brooklyn closer to me. Because I could not deal with the long travel to Kings Plaza just to visit Primark. I had to make sure I was there for the Grand Opening which was a mad house there was a long line of people for it but luckily I got there early a beat that crowd. This site is huge with a wide variety of different merchandise in store from adult clothes both male and female to the kids section, home accessories to luggage, shoes, coats, sweaters, bags and lots of accessories to style up your wardrobe. Primark has arrived in downtown Brooklyn! Finally a location that is easier to get to from Manhattan on the subway without switching trains or taking a bus. This massive store carries affordable clothing and accessories that are decent quality. I once bought a scarf at the Boston location over 5 years ago and it's still in great condition. Expect to find fashion for the whole family. Excited to finally have them here! The store is three floors with escalators and stairs and attached to a mall. They have a restroom too, just ask for a code. A quick walk from the subway Q train. I happened upon this store after seeing a movie nearby. My friend suggested I take a look and I was amazed by the size of the store with many floors of merchandise. I saw a carryon luggage and decided to return with my daughter who was interested in one. We returned and we each bought one. We did notice that the children's area was the most popular! Not too many staff walking around but many by check out area! This was our only purchase but we'll be back. read more
