Additionally, since I spent my teen years in "middle America" I def associate AE on the same wavelength as Hollister and Aeropostale *boos, heckles* But, apparently AE jeans are THAT GIRL. I happened to see the Dreamy Drape jeans on Tik Tok and fell in love, especially considering they were on sale for $20. But, I highly doubted they'd work for my body considering my spoon-shaped figure (totally didn't know this was a body type til recently). Well, this team got me right. They got me right into the perfect pair of jeans. I'd been out here rocking jeans not realizing they were two sizes too small *hides* Then, I got them in multiple colors. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left, the staff at AE Store 2354 made my shopping trip feel like a pleasant experience. I used to live near this store and used to frequent at least once a month. I have had both good and bad experiences here. The good is that they have tons of sales, someone is always out front to greet you, and they have a clearance and Aerie section in the back. They usually have a decent stock of items. The bad - the cashiers are usually slow or rude, the lines are long and sometimes, its hard to find someone to help you. read more

Staff is rude. I didn't even want the stuff I had. They told me I to check out on the 2nd floor then nobody was there to ring up. When I went downstairs the heavier manager was snippy with me and everyone else in line. Will not return I was trying to give AE a chance but they're not elevated. read more

I come here more than I should, always leave the store with something in hand. They seem to have new merchandise every few weeks, and sales to go along with it. The wait time on line can be a little long depending on the time of the day/week you visit, otherwise it goes quickly. I must admit I was a bit apprehensive to visit this store....I'm a creature of habit and this store wasn't habit. I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. (Ladies the first floor is yours while us men are one level up). The staff here is extremely helpful and they do "have more sizes in the back" unlike most stores who claim "this is all we have". Don't you hate that BS line? I know I do. Anyway, I went there yesterday looking for new denim and didn't expect to find anything I fancied because to be honest, I'm more of an express kinda guy :/. I went straight to the second floor and grabbed the first three jeans to catch my eye. The young lady in the fitting room was very helpful and gave me the raw deal ("that one doesn't sit well on you", "the green ones really fit you well and they're cheaper", "that's your fit maybe you should see what else fits you that way". I respect her honesty. I ended up walking out of there with two of my three selections and I'm very happy. Looks like I'll be returning those express jeans today. #shrug. I absolutely hate this location. I have been in here twice to process online returns over the last few weeks. I have bought over $1K worth of clothes from AE over the past few months so there are bound to be some returns, which I prefer to do in store since the funds are processed faster and then I can browse the store. However the staff has made me feel like I'm a terrible burden. The associate seemed annoyed (mumbled to herself rather than making pleasantries with me) and the floor managers came over constantly to look over her shoulder and ask 'she is still returning?'. SHE is standing right here and can hear you; referring to me like that is RUDE. No one smiles, they lack simple decent courtesy, and they seem like they hate their jobs. Then when I am done and want to browse the store, I am tailed like a criminal. It's really uncomfortable. Even though the union square location is a few stops away, it's worth it. First time I have shopped here, or any AE for that matter. I must say, I don't think I have ever received perfect customer serve from every single employee I encountered in one location. The two girls in the fitting room were not only helpful but super nice. The security who greets you did it with such a genuineness. The cashier Ezequiel was very professional and very welcoming .
