I realized that I've basically been running my own museum in my closet. Lol. I decided that it was time that my designer handbags and shoes needed new owners. Yay to the real for allowing to do that and get some cash in return! My consultation w/ Jennifer was informative and fun. Finding out that my stuff was considered vintage was cool, but reminded me... mama is getting older, lol. Getting the price I could make after fees was also more than I thought. So I consider that a win. Hopefully, my vintage stuff becomes someone new obsession. read more

My girlfriend loves shopping here whenever we are in New York. As long as she is happy with the outfits she pic out for herself, i am happy. They have so many good collections of clothes, antiques and designs. Real Real is ok. read more

They pay the owner of the clothes a ridiculously low fraction of what they are worth. Hardly worth the trouble of bringing it in and jumping through all the hoops. Better to give your items to charity than to sell them through this store. They give consignment stores a bad name. read more

The set-up is designed to capitalize on your items.. they will take your item and claim to put it through an assessment process for weeks, then place it on sale on their site for nowhere near the value of the item. Then they will place a discount on the already low cost, claiming that if it doesn't sell in 48hr. It's 10% off. Which allows them to claim it finally sold for a fraction of the cost of its worth. Then the have ownership to sell it in one of their locations for an astronomical price! The RealReal isn't keeping things Real! read more

The RealReal - Brooklyn - Skirt - Accessories Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

This location (maybe all of them?) makes me want to shop online and talk to nobody. The selection isn't great--honestly, you'll find better options on their website. The staff barely acknowledge you, so if their goal is to push people to shop online and avoid interaction, job well done! No real reason to visit in person. read more

I'm a consignor and it's super convenient to have this location in Brooklyn -- hot tip, download the TRR app so you can scan the tickets. A lot of times the price is significantly lower than what's listed! read more

Great easy way to resell and find new styles to try - got a pair of pristine Bottega sunglasses for a steal! Stylists were so helpful and attentive. Amazing shopping experience! read more

Great finds at the brooklyn location of The Real Real. would definitely recommend checking out the selection often as things come in. Will be back! read more

The service is really great, and quick. Everyone is also very nice and attentive while you shop.

I recently sold items online and I regret it ! First of all my items sold are extremely low prices and my items included very hi end designers and gently used. Louboutin pumps ,Guissepes and Sergio Rossi. All a few years old , three shoes I received less than $300 . What a rip off . I was better off selling them myself on eBay . Which I've done in the past and for more money for my prized possessions . I would never sell my items with this company again . . read more

Myron helped us and couldn't have been nicer. This location is a hidden TRR gem!! On the smaller side but full of great finds.

This is the real attitude of the real customer service team! I am your VIP customer. All the packages I sent to you have been updated immediately upon delivery. This package was signed for on March 21st and is still in the "enroute" status now. How could you just throw a package into the warehouse and not even bother to scan it for over a month? This is the attitude you have towards handling customer packages! Then, since March 21st, I have been urging and following up on this matter, hoping that you would scan and verify the contents of the package as soon as possible. But you kept making me wait. This is something that has never happened before. Later, I found out that the package was not scanned at all, but you told me that there were only three pieces of clothing left. I clearly sent out six pieces! I asked you to provide a complete video of unpacking and a video of the warehouse, but you didn't provide them! The attitude of your customer service team is that the package was lost or stolen, but the real real doesn't admit it. They directly pass the problem on to the consumers and refuse to compensate! This is the attitude of your rogue company? And you still want me to contact you? You should contact me! This is fraud! read more

Easiest, most pleasant shopping experience I've had in years! Service, selection and prices were all incredibl.

I brought it a pair of earrings to consign. I was told it will be sent to their authentication warehouse. All fine but that was on 7/4/21. Today, 9/3/21 I still see on my account that it's in "Received" status. I contacted their customer service and the account manager I've been assigned to. Both ignoring my emails. The above issue had me thinking about the store itself. There's a gentleman in glasses that helps take in consignments that I think is very lovely. He is polite and helpful. Everyone else I've interacted here is just alright. Your business does not have the messaging option here. If you truly want to help me, then please have someone from Therealreal message me. read more

I brought in items that cost me over $30k and they sold them for $2k. Shame on them! This is a scam! My items were D&G, Nadeem Khan, Alexander Mac Queen, Alaïa, Balanciaga etc..!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!!! read more

I ventured here with a friend, who is big on Consignment/Second Hand shops. When we initially walked in, I was puzzled because all I saw was women's items, but in a small sector in the back, they had two racks for men. I noticed quickly that many of the items despite being used, where at the retail price, which I found writes. I'm very apprehensive about second hand items and prefer not to have clothing that other people wore. However, I was open to the idea of browsing and potentially finding a good deal. I only saw one shirt that potentially caught my eye, but overall this place was underwhelming for me. Now, I would say it's a much better place for women because they have a much larger supply and many hand bangs, etc.. I would possibly give this place a second try in the future-- maybe I would have better results. read more

I am giving the real real a second chance because I believe that mistakes can happen however I will never visit the Soho store due to the discriminatory practices, the very humiliating experience and because at the end I won the case and they have to deal with it, honestly they lucky i am very busy and don't care to counter suit a company that does the same numbers every years without progression... how will they pay me ? Hahaha respectfully real real, but do you guys need a loan? Anyways... second chance and they didn't failed to disappoint me, but before i get into what disappoint me i want to give a special shoutout to the team from Brooklyn location because they are absolutely amazing people, very welcoming, dropping off is a breeze, every employee even the security is nice and very respectful, unlike soho team (honestly i will fired everyone from soho and re hired better talents who can get the job done like the Brooklyn team do and i mean this in the most disrespectful way) now what's really disappointing is that not only you guys take forever to authenticate, tell us that it's authentic (like we didn't knew), take pictures, tell us that it will be posted soon, not give us an estimated price to see if we want to continue with their service, but nooo they post on they page without any details prior to the owner and once this item which is ridiculously discounted finally sells (example: retail price 1,050$, the real real price $285, the owner commission one month later $25 .... EXCUSE MEEE? Let me go before I start cussing out read more
