I'd known about them for a long time and was eager to visit their Orchard Street shop with my son, who is a big fan of this great brand. Upon arrival you find it's a relatively small space, but the layout, the decor, and the vibe are very impactive, very impressive, very inviting. I was magnetically drawn into what felt like a treasure room that begged to be explored. And what you discover here is amazing. Amazing. Rings, bracelets, pendants, earrings, cufflinks, chains, wallet chains, pins and clothing - all variations on their distinctive, soulful, striking themes focused on rock 'n' roll, heavy metal, and biker subcultures. But anyone can wear these incredible works of art because they are absolutely beautifully designed and executed pieces. The prices seem fair to me given the obvious love and care poured into each item. Now what really made this experience special for me, in addition to being there with family, is the interaction with the staff. They are very nice and clearly very happy to have you in for a visit. They demonstrate genuine passion and pride for their store and for their jewelry, and when they bring a piece out of the showcase and let you examine it, their delight is on display. They have great stories and are happy to answer questions and give advice when asked. I have since been back to the store several times and purchased some beautiful rings for myself, and for my family. And each time, the staff here have shown that they want to achieve a perfect fit, both in terms of sizing and in terms of style. What a great store and what a great team. I have also since visited some of their other stores in other cities. You can find them in London SoHo, London East, New York (this store), LA, New Orleans, and Tokyo.

Eimear helped me through the process and now she loves her gift! Highly recommend Thomas Laine.

They helped me select the most beautiful bracelet. I am petite with tiny wrists (less than 5 inches) so I never thought I could wear certain bracelets. I believe that as of now, this is the only store in NYC that represents the work of the rich community of metal workers that are present here, working out of mostly Brooklyn and who otherwise mostly sell via Instagram or their own website. It's rare to see their work together in person. If you are on the hunt for a truly unique piece of jewelry, I think this should be a stop on your itinerary. Though I saw no engagement rings currently on display, I am sure the store staff would be happy to put you in touch with one of the jewelers whose style you fancy for a private commission (which probably will cost you the same as some boring piece from the diamond district, but be a piece like no other).
