She walked my friends and me through several sections of the store to ensure that we found exactly what we were looking for. Ms Corita was personable and funny. But Mr Richard at the Customer Service Desk was beyond rule and unprofessional. We were shocked and a little bit of shopping excited dimmed after our encounter with him. He should not represent Macy's while interacting with customers. We were not deterred. Unfortunately we spent tons of time and money on three floors. Many department stores have sadly faded away over the years. Think, B. Altman & Co, Barneys, Henri Bendels, Lord & Taylor, Bonwit Teller, I miss them all like old friends who passed. However, we still have Macy's! - with its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade aired on NBC, plus don't forget Macy's lush Fresh Flower Show display in April/May, and the ultimate 4th of July Fireworks on the Hudson River or East River by the Grucci family over 100 years, now by Jesse Collins Entertainment of the Superbowl halftime shows. There will always be Macy's. Make Macy's your destination even if it's just for the nostalgia. Moving along, went to the store on a busy Saturday afternoon, and there was indeed a great selection of clothes that i was in search of. The downside is that the dressing rooms don't have a seat inside and due to a knee injury i had to wait a long time for the only stall to become available. The dressing room area is extremely busy and the staff appeared overwhelm with the consumption of clothes left behind by customers. The space in the store is good, nothing appears cluttered or scattered and the floors are kept clean. Needed to use the restroom and that is also an area that only has one per gender and the lines become a bit much. Due to the restrooms overuse it definitely requires additional cleaning to maintain it clean and stocked with toiletries. Overall ok experience, I was not asked if I needed assistance by a staff member.

Very close to all the train routes. Shelves are stocked and neatly organized for the most part. This spot is supposedly smaller than other locations in the city. But that's okay, at least I didn't see anything like toys lying on the floor. No kids running around. Clean aisles + brightly lit area + decently spacious to walk around on your own. Surprised to see some Squishmallows peeking out in between other plushies. So, I was trying to reach for the ones from the top shelf. Staff from afar saw me struggling to reach but didn't offer any help + kept looking on and went back to chatting/joking with a coworker. This was around 9:30pm on a Sunday evening. I guess just a minor hiccup there, I will let it pass. Customers can find a limited yet decent selection of things like electronics, groceries, beauty and skincare/makeup, hygiene related products etc in each of their specific sections/aisles. The designs on greeting cards looked lovely. Some things were on sale like cat food - $10 for 12 cans. You just gotta stroll around to find out. It's convenient to have a Target in Midtown/next to the major train lines. Maybe I will stop by again, hopefully the service from employees will be better next time.

I like that there are plenty of cashiers -- check-out is generally quick and organized -- AND that Marshalls is located in the same building. Take the escalator up to TJ Maxx, and down to Marshalls. A few weeks ago I chatted with a fashion merchandiser who mentioned all the lines and stores her company services. When she included TJ Maxx, I said I was surprised. "Don't they get surplus from other stores to discount what hasn't been sold?" "Not necessarily," she replied. "That's what they want you to think!" Hmmm.... doesn't make a difference to me, but I thought it interesting that they have their own lines under different labels.

I have found that in the past when I purchase shoes at Macy's in the regular shoe department I spend too much money for shoes that hurt my feet. I wasn't sure if this was a thrift store at first, or a discount store. It is very similar to Job Lot. Everything's here. They have clothes, snacks, makeup, books, home supplies etc. but no neckties. This store is pretty messy, and very random with its inventory, but the prices are very low. I had to walk around for a while to find someone to ask about their merchandise. It is nice to have a store like this in an expensive and overpriced city, especially for the residents.

There is a staircase on the first floor that leads up to a huge second floor filled with goods from all over Asia, primarily Japan. They sell a huge amount of imported goods. You'll find a lot of supermarket items - snacks, candies, drinks, pastries, frozen goods and more. There is much more than food though. You can also find manga, movies, beauty products, many household products, and a huge collection of plushies. There is something for everyone here if you are looking for Asian products. And I find that their products are cheaper than similar stores.

The entrance lobby is big with 2 elevators and escalators. The thing about this Target is that it is extremely small and is not a super store like the ones in the suburbs. It's cool how they made space for this Target in Times Square. They do not have the $1, $3, and $5 value item section in this location. I wish they have that. There are many good steals with that. They have many self checkout kiosks in this location and a ramp to the food pantry towards the back of the store. They have many travel essentials by the checkout section for tourists since Times Square got a lot of tourists.
