This place is pretty much equivalent to Lot-Less, Dollar Store, and 99¢ Store combined together. Pricing usually ranges from low to moderate depending on how well do you know your prices in general. For example, a gift bag costs $3.75-$4.00 at Target but a gift bag here is $1.99 instead. So of course in this case, it would be cheaper to get the bag at Lot Stop compared to Target. Shop around the store, compare the prices with other places and you'll see what I mean... Has huge selection of different items on each of the three floors at Lot Stop. Plus, it's conveniently located near Target & right across the street from the L Train. What I find the most fascinating: there's actually an aisle full of assorted arts and crafts with colorful beads, strings, yarn, wooden baskets and boxes, paint, watercolor sets, and etc. Never expected to find that section from Lot Stop at all. Service is fast from polite staff members.

Luckily this Nordstrom Rack is close to the train station so it is very convenient to commute here…read more Came here to find a sterling silver bracelet or necklace by Argento and there were a few sterling silver left. I must admit Nordstrom organizes their jewelry well. All the boxes were neatly displayed on their shelves. Just the bad thing is the top shelf is very high and you need assistance or a ladder to look at them so that sucks. This is one of the most organized stores ever with all the accessories lined up and stored in an orderly fashion. There are rarely any loose accessories or misplaced product in the store. Made the shopping vibe feel a lot better. It is also very clean and carpet is nice to walk on without any dirt or loose garbage. By the checkout, there are aisles of mini and travel size lotions and facial cleansers from Kiehl's and Clinique that are almost winding down so they are that popular! I thought the cashiers were kind of slow because there were 3 of them working on the customers when there were so many cashier registers available for employees to go to. I wish they open more registers so the long line can go faster.

Also appreciated the proximity to the train station, which made the entire errand a lot quicker than I anticipated!

This was my first visit to this location where I saw specific Customer Service people stationed…read morethroughout the store. Ms Corita was beyond kind and knowledgeable about the entire store. She walked my friends and me through several sections of the store to ensure that we found exactly what we were looking for. Ms Corita was personable and funny. But Mr Richard at the Customer Service Desk was beyond rule and unprofessional. We were shocked and a little bit of shopping excited dimmed after our encounter with him. He should not represent Macy's while interacting with customers. We were not deterred. Unfortunately we spent tons of time and money on three floors. We'll be back and we'll search for Ms Corita because she was outstanding! #HappyShopping

22 March 2026 New York, NY…read moreSunny 50°F As a thoroughbred New Yorker, Macy's Herald Square is the only barely existing quintessential Iconic New York "department store" It is literally the "World's Largest Store" - as is emblazoned on the marquée above their Broadway & 34th Street corner entrance. Many department stores have sadly faded away over the years. Think, B. Altman & Co, Barneys, Henri Bendels, Lord & Taylor, Bonwit Teller, I miss them all like old friends who passed. However, we still have Macy's! - with its annual Thanksgiving Day Parade aired on NBC, plus don't forget Macy's lush Fresh Flower Show display in April/May, and the ultimate 4th of July Fireworks on the Hudson River or East River by the Grucci family over 100 years, now by Jesse Collins Entertainment of the Superbowl halftime shows. There will always be Macy's. Make Macy's your destination even if it's just for the nostalgia. They still have those chunky wooden escalators on the upper floors built in the 1920s by Otis Elevator Company. An Iconic Five stars **Thanks to fellow Yelper, Fawn for the trip down memory lane!**

I will start out by saying that I was never a fan of Marshall's. That is until I found this one…read moreglorious example of what every Marshall's should model themselves after! I have only known of this Marshall's location for about the last 2 years. You'd never think a Marshall's would be there. On Washington Street across from One World Trade and a block away from the water by Battery Park City. I only noticed this because I was headed to the Battery Park Regal. I had some time before my movie so I figured I'd kill some time. I wasn't terribly excited because I never had a good Marshall's experience, but I digress. This location is two floors down deep which kills cell service so if youre waiting for any important calls, you won't get them! I cant express how highly impressed I was with everything about this Marshall's. From the items in stock to the cleanliness and the layout, to the selection and the very friendly associates. 2 big floors. The first floor has women's and children's clothing, shoes, holiday items, and health/beauty items. The floor down has men's clothing, pet supplies and household items. A few times a year they have big clearance events. Each department will have their own separate clearance shelves. I've found some GREAT deals during those huge sales. I've found a few different Kate Sommerville cleansers, that are normally $30, for only $10 or $12. Even when they dont have these big events, they always have the clearance sections. I always make a beeline directly to them. Especially the beauty section. I love how they group and display the beauty items in separate colors. Very pleasing to the eye. They have Nars, Anastasia, etc. makeup for awesome prices. I even get my Secret Clinical deodorant for only $6 here. Lots of clothing variety as well. Lots of my favorite brands like Michael Kors and Lucky Brand. Gotten so many cute items here. Got a $110 Michael Kors burgundy hoodie here for only $28 on clearance. Got an Abercrombie sweater for only $8! A decent sized plus-sized section. Spacious and clean dressing rooms. So many different candles. Got the best ever non-stick ceramic pan. The pantry section is surprisingly great. Found so many great new snacks here. Awesome pet section, too. Again, especially in the clearance section! I've done A LOT of damage here. They have cashiers on both floors but mostly just the ones on the upstairs level are ever open. The line could get long at times but they do go pretty fast. Theyre CONSTANTLY asking if you want to sign up for theit credit card. One day I'm going to spill the beans and tell them that I'm very irresponsible when it comes to shopping so stop asking me to sign up for that! I feel like I come here at least once a week. I'll be there tomorrow! My favorite days are hitting up Gong Cha, shopping at Marshall's, going to the Regal down the block and then sitting by the river. Thats my zen place.

Date of visit: April 12, 2026…read more This location is very sneakily hidden on the edge of the World Trade Center complex--we actually had walked past it a couple times without even knowing it was there! There are signs as you enter that they are remodeling, and while this is true, there are areas that were not being remodeled that definitely needed some TLC, such as the entry area that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since before COVID. The store is multiple levels and probably the largest Marshall's I've ever been to, though the layout of the building makes navigating a bit tricky in some instances, such as the L-shaped men's area. Staff were nonexistent as we navigated the store and were barely present for checkout as well. We did find a couple things and took advantage of the no sales tax on clothing in New York, too!
