She taught me how to lace a corset and let me try it myself, which is no small task, but she was always right there to help. She was honest, genuine, and never salesy. The reason I walked away with so much is simple. She didn't have to push a thing. The quality of this store speaks for itself. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing details about a limited edition piece, one of only 15 in the country, and explaining how this brand created corsets for Beyoncé's Renaissance team. And she was absolutely right. The corset I purchased is the most comfortable, flexible, and beautiful piece I've ever worn. I can breathe, move, exist. I could honestly wear it all day and sleep in it, and I look incredible. I never felt rushed. Tiffany's timing was perfect. She was present when I needed help and stepped back when I didn't. She even brought my partner and me water. As a queer couple, we felt completely comfortable, welcomed, and celebrated the entire time, which meant more than I can express. For context, we were supposed to go to The Metropolitan Museum of Art that day, but this experience with Tiffany at Agent Provocateur was better than The Met so we skipped our booked entry time to the museum entirely. She listened. She was thoughtful. She was warm. Truly, Tiffany is a wonderful human being who should be highly favored in any room she walks into. As others have mentioned, returns are impossible. The sizing online is ambiguous and my order made me look ridiculous. I got a gift card that is completely wasted and I feel terrible for the person who gave it to me. The customer service is plain rude and I wasn't allowed to exchange a very expensive order. I will never order from there again and you shouldn't either. Instead, find a store that sells good quality lingerie near you and go into the store. I used to frequently purchase lingerie from Agent Provocateur, spending a significant amount of money on the brand. Recently, I ordered a corset in my usual size, but when I tried it on, the cup size was far too small. It was obvious that I wouldn't be able to wear it, so I decided to return it. The return shipping cost me $39. After that, I received an email saying, "Sorry, we cannot process the refund because glitter was found on the corset." They further added that I would need to pay an additional $40 for the return shipping or they would discard the item. Let me clarify: I only tried on the corset, which obviously didn't fit. I usually wear a 34DD, but this corset was at least two sizes smaller. It still had all the tags attached. The corset cost me $400, and now, on top of that, I had to pay $39 for shipping, and they are asking for another $40 to return an item I will never be able to wear? I didn't wear the corset, so how glitter ended up on it is beyond me. Thanks to your customers, you became the brand you are today, Agent Provocateur, but this appalling treatment has opened my eyes to how little you actually value your loyal clientele. Beware when buying here. My Husband bought me a beautiful lingerie set as a surprise. He bought the wrong size. All I had to do was take it out of the box to see it was too small. All tags attached and obviously not wore! When he reached out to find out how to exchange the items, they told him he could not return or exchange for a different size. Of the 3 items, only one was on sale, but they would not exchange any of them. You cannot call them, you can only email customer service. This was my first AP visit and I was very disappointed in the experience. The review is solely on the customer service* The place was empty (one customer trying something on with one rep helping her) and had two reps available on the floor. I saw the team I liked online so I went in knowing what I wanted and asked for it. When the garter belt from the Love collection wasn't quite the kind I was looking for, she knew exactly what I liked and brought me a garter belt from the Lacy collection - a high waist lace detailed piece. I was beyond thrilled when I stumbled upon this SoHo Boutique - I thought AP was only in London! As I have had a longtime obsession with their website (truly one of the best of all time), I simply had to try on a few things. AP makes some of the best lingerie around, for a number of reasons: 1. Unique. La Perla is nice, but it's not exactly new. AP is new on the block, and has, in my opinion, a more modern/stylized product line better suited to younger women (though the older ladies can rock their stuff too, I have no doubt). 2. Great quality, in design, craftmanship, and fabric. A majority of their items feature high-silk blends, which feel so much better on the skin than typical polyester satins. The stitching is immaculate. AP offers a wide variety of items - bras, panties, girdles, corsets, garters, sleepwear, hosiery - which range from sexy to classy to practical to fun. There's something for everyone here, and the colours! Wow. I must however, note that like virtually all lingerie, the underwire bras really do not work for those of us who are small breasted (small B and below). Fortunately, AP offers a broad selection of soft cups styles which provide perfectly adequate support. The saleswomen, dressed in delightful pink dresses to match the equally feminine decor, were friendly, knowledgable, and in the end, quite helpful. I waltzed out with a lovely matching set of bra and panties - fuschia silk with cream mesh soft cup bra and matching cream mesh panties with fuschia silk ties. What I don't understand is how Kate, who is tinier than me, could fit into any of the stuff. Even the smallest sizes are big and falling off. That's probably a defect of my body and not the product though... Anyway, the salesgirls are gorgeous and really helpful with fittings and whatnot. The store is small and relatively empty, so you can expect them to be really attentive and brutally honest. They kind of just barge right on in on you, adjust you, bring on other things to try on. Which I'm completely cool with. There are a lot more styles than are on display, a lot of the stuff is stowed away in drawers. The stockings are amazing and very affordable for the quality. Having visited the one on Melrose in LA, I honestly did not expect to see one of their stores when I turned a corner in SoHo---score! I love that they have super sexy yet durable stockings! I probably came off as the non targeted audience of this type of store, but this place definitely has stuff for the petite ladies such as myself, so bras don't come off falling off a girl's shoulders or stockings that will make a girl under 5'5" like moi look sexy and taller! The Agent kept complimenting me when I asked her to look although she obviously had better knowledge than I did at the time, so she was just trying to make a sale.
