Yesterday I went in for my first bra fitting in years. Dakota made the entire process seamless, comfortable, and empowering. In the past bra fittings have felt like being poked, prodded, and measured, but Dakota used her keen eye to help me find my perfect size within minutes. I really appreciated her patience as I tried on dozens of bras and her attentiveness to every little question or adjustment I needed. She also helped me find the perfect styles for my body (something I'd never even considered), expertly explaining all the jargon in an easily understandable way. She also wrote me a card to take home with my size & best styles - a detail that I really appreciated. I felt no pressure at all to tip, but even 15 minutes into the fitting, I felt compelled to due to the excellent level of care I was receiving. Furthermore, the shop was filled with a range of pieces - from basic nudes to vibrant colors. I would recommend the Rack Shack to anyone who is looking for a bra/underwear/lingerie. I first came to this store around when it opened almost 10 years ago and loved it. Great service and really inclusive sizing. This rating is for my recent visit. While the selection still seems great and most of the associates seemed friendly, the associate I ended up with did not seem interested in talking with me. We spoke briefly but in the end I didn't feel there was space to ask in depth about what I was looking for and I ended up leaving without buying anything. Still 3 stars because I do love this store and plan to give it another chance next time. I ended up going to the Manhattan location and had an excellent experience there. read more

Service was not good the store is not inviting you are not greeted and they measure you by eye balling not measuring tape very odd. Did not buy anything it was dingy and very little lighting. No selection and just not what is said online. I can't tell you about the value because I didn't buy anything however they need to put money into the store and make you feel like they want you in there! My friend popped in the other day looking for some special pieces. She got fitted and got expert advise. She left so happy with her new purchases and talked about it all the way home. She got a few pieces for under $300 I feel like that's a great value for a boutique experience with prices about the same as Victoria Secret. I'd love to come back and shop for myself sometime. I came last Tuesday 5/20 and had the best experience! I forgot her name, but the lady helping me out around 5pm was one of the friendliest people I've ever been around. Bra shopping was always hard and scary for me, and I never got to be actually fitted (other than the BS Victoria's Secret fittings). Had a boob job earlier this year and wasn't sure what my new size was and trying on bras at the mall/department store just wasn't working out. It felt like nothing fit right or was comfortable. I had an amazing experience. Chanel was able to deduce my size just by looking at me and the very first bra they had me try on was already a perfect match. They let me try on many different styles and answered any questions or concerns that's I had. Trying to leave with only a few things was so hard! I went with two friends and we had the BEST experience. We're all members of the big titty committee and not only did the Rack Shack have bras that fit, but they were cute and comfortable! They even had teddies in our size. The two ladies working at the shop were fantastic - helpful, knowledgeable, and just the right level of checking in on how we were doing without being overbearing. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, but Laura, the owner, took all the time to get to know my boobs and what I wanted. I am over 60 and wanted a bra for good support that is also very sexy. I have a hard time finding bras that fit. The combination of my band and cup size can be challenging to find (small band; large bust), and even when I go to stores that ostensibly specialize in hard-to-fit people, I walk out frustrated and disappointed. From the minute I walked into The Rack Shack I knew it was going to be different. Nani's expertise was immediately apparent, and she quickly put me at ease. I knew within the first three minutes that this was going to be a different bra buying experience. Rather than a measuring tape, she efficiently used her hands and eyes to determine my size, left the dressing room for a minute or two, and promptly returned with her hands full of options, almost all of which were excellent fits - in her words, "No notes." For someone used to either finding nothing or making do with ill-fitting garments, I was honestly overwhelmed with happiness and choices. I walked out with three gorgeous new bras and ordered two more in different colors - both will be made to order in Poland and shipped to me since I don't live in New York but was only here visiting. And the cost is exactly what you would pay for any higher quality bra in a department store - that is: very reasonable, given the quality, not to mention the incredible customer service. 11/10 recommend. read more
