This is an off the beaten path place as it's a bit hard to find. It's in the back of a business area on the causeway. Mostly locals here. They honor English beer as they have no sours or fruity IPA's. Several ales, a nut brown, and a Blonde make up the group here. You can sit outside on the deck overlooking the sound and order pizza from next door if you're hungry. The bartenders here are always friendly and have interesting stories. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Great local brewery with delicious beers and friendly fun service! Stopped in on our recent vacation to sample some beers. The beers did not disappoint! Inside is pretty small but on a nice day there are plenty of picnic tables outside to sit at and sit by the water. No food on-site but there is a pizza place right next door as well as a coke shop. You can also bring in other treats/food. The bartender the day we visited was extremely fun!

Absolutely my favorite place to spend the afternoon!!!!! Whether having a pint with a slice of pizza from next door, a little trivia or the weekly "HOA" with our neighbors- Lost Colony Waterfront is THE BEST Place to be!!!! Some will say the views are spectacular, they are. Some will say the beer is the best they have had- well it kinda is! But the BEAST of the Beach Best Bartender is really what keeps us coming back!!! Dirt is EPIC!!!! Your missing out if you don't stop in and see what it's all about..... IYK,YK !! Slainte

    A view from the brewery.

This is as close to Cheers as you are going to get. It's a place you can go where everyone knows your name. Whether you are a local (not a real local, a live here now local) or you visit every year, Dirt remembers and greets you like family - the ones you like to see. The beers are amazing and you can feel the love that is poured into each pint. The beer and the bartender are definitely worth the trip.

Good beer. Good spot. Good people. Is there anything more? Definitely stop in and have a beer. Dirt is the man and always keeps the party going! Really glad I finally got to stop in.

    The quiet and unassuming bartender.

From the second we sat down, Jada was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic. If every server were like Jada, restaurants would have far more repeat customers. The food more than lived up to the hospitality. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and generously portioned without being over-the-top heavy. Prices are reasonable and the daily specials make it easy to try something new without breaking the bank. If you're anywhere near Suffolk, do yourself a favor just drop in, no reservations required. And if you're lucky enough to get seated in Jada's section, you'll leave not only full and happy but also with that warm feeling that comes from truly excellent service. Baron's Pub earns a glowing five stars from us-- we'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

We were served by Kylie (Kyleigh?) on the patio and she was fantastic. Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
