    Wine flights

Absolutely gem with wonderful wine and friendly people. I love the concept of bringing in small batch wines - and those that a bit more conscious of sustainability. We went for flights and enjoyed making our own selections. The staff was great at providing wine recommendations and back stories to the wineries. They've got a great bottle selection to purchase to take home. We had already eaten but they do have charcuterie boards!

Great find yesterday while wandering around downtown Manteo. We love wine and we're happy to stop in. We had a bottle of Merlot and a bottle of Pinot noir both of which were good but the noir was definitely better. We ordered a charcuterie board which was good too and bought three bottles to give as gifts for friends that had joined us on the trip. 4 stars because several of the wines we tried that were from behind the bar tasted much past their point of drinking and were quite "vinegary" despite the argon gas seals the owner said kept open bottles of wine for up to 30 days after uncorking. Otherwise, great vibes and met some cool locals!

Super friendly place, chill vibes, good food and good drinks. The Charcuterie is so so good! We came in for the weekend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and decided to come here, ended up here both nights we were in town.

Leave your kids at home. Extremely rude to us and our friends. Maybe a sign saying kids are not welcomed at this establishment?

Neither one was worth the money. Everything is expensive anymore when you eat out, I don't mind paying if the food is good. The soup had no signs of fish or seafood in either serving. It tasted like a spicy vegetable soup. It was good but no fish and not worth $9. The Quinoa bowl was average, tomatoes were spongy and tasteless and 3-4 pearl mozzarella balls. How is that $19? Very disappointing. I gave 1 star for our wine and our waitress Emily did an awesome job. She was prompt and took care of all the tables in the dining room. She did a fantastic job ensuring we had everything we needed. It wasn't her fault for the food. We are both locals and wanted a girl lunch, and appreciate the challenges restaurants face. Trio is always busy So not sure why today's food was so poor. I still bought wine at the store, again great shop.

This tiki bar, which opened its doors in June of 2024, has quickly become a hotspot in the area. During the weekends, the bar is buzzing with excitement and is always packed with people eagerly waiting to check in. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, creating the perfect setting for a fun night out. I had the pleasure of trying their margaritas, and I must say, they were truly exceptional. The bartender at Duck Dive Bar really knows their craft and made some of the best margaritas I've ever had. They were perfectly balanced and simply delicious. One unique aspect of Duck Dive Bar is their Friday morning yoga sessions. For just $20, you can participate in a yoga class that includes a drink afterwards. It's a great way to start your day and unwind in a beautiful setting. I also appreciated that they had mocktails available for kids, making it a family-friendly establishment. The kids seemed to enjoy their drinks just as much as the adults enjoyed their cocktails. Overall, my experience at Duck Dive Bar was fantastic. From the lively atmosphere to the delicious drinks and friendly staff, it's a must-visit spot in Duck, NC. I highly recommend stopping by Duck Dive Bar for a great time with friends and family. Free parking lot.

Let's start with the positives:…read more Love that it's in Manteo and the place has a nice vibe to it. Would've like to try the Weeping Radish Beers but kids were with me so I passed. The Pretzel was good, no doubt about that. All of the breads were very fresh. Unfortunately, everything got worse after the appetizer pretzel at our table. The hot honey on the New Yorker Down South functioned more like a sticky grease. But if not for the honey, I don't think I would've tasted anything at all. The service wasn't good either. Our waitress appeared to be getting frustrated just by those at our table asking questions. The only time she lit up was when she bragged about the two smash burger ideas she came up with that made the menu. She wasn't terrible, but maybe I'm just being nice considering I felt us being there was an inconvenience to her. When someone at our table asked to add lettuce and tomato to their burger, she replied that this isn't a build your own burger place and that she works at the Lost Colony where you can do that...but not here. It was odd. My family has gluten allergies which sucks...but when we asked if any desserts were gluten free she said the tart was the only one she was aware of. It might have been, but saying "aware of" led me to believe there could possibly be others but she didn't know and wasn't asking. Ok, I convinced myself, the service was bad. In fact, the place was practically empty and they stuck all 7 of us in a booth. My daughter who is extremely gluten sensitive has to cut off a piece of her pizza because the waitress bumped it against mine when she put it on the table. In her defense, we had no room for it. When the waitress brought back my youngest daughters Smash Burger (because they didn't put cheese or mayo on it) she could only fit half the plate on the table. So my 8 year old ate off a plate with half the plate dangling off the side...bizarre. I'm giving 2 stars because I believe the meal could've been better. Living in a family with gluten allergies and having none...I get how it can be frustrating (apologies to those gluten free...I get that it's way more frustrating for you). I'd probably stick with a pretzel, order a standard smash burger & do the beer sampler. If you're driving over 15 minutes to get here, probably safest to try somewhere else.

A very nice outside area for when its warmer, and inside feels very comfortable, slightly upscale. Overall, very nice and could easily become a all season hang out. Service was...well, lets say a work in progress. When asked about beers on draft, the server did not know (and did not have a list). Also, one of our orders was forgotten (more on that below). That said, service was friendly, quickly corrected the mistake. We started with the cheese curds; served hot they were good but...need something, some kind of kick/spice. The main event, the pizza's. We ordered two, one with pepperoni and mushroom and one plain. The pepperoni and mushroom was overall good, but not great. It was warm not hot, and really could have used a bit more time in the oven to get that nice undercarriage you want in a pizza - especially a stone oven pizza. The plain pizza, the server forgot to put that order in. By comparison to the first one, when it did arrive it was hot, much better undercarriage, etc. As I started with, a solid 3 with potential if they correct the service gaffs. To be fair, since our visit they (FIretender) have announced several service changes such as a new manager to there is hope it can live up to the promise.
