Wanted this to be the final piece of a nice day shopping and walking around Duck during a recent vacation, and it did a wonderful job in that respect. The folks there were nice and got us our orders expeditiously. The food itself was delicious (amazing pretzel and flawless sandwiches), the drinks were great accompaniments, and the view was breathtaking. Frankly, it might be one of the top three dining views I have ever enjoyed in my life, and is probably the only one that inspired me to take an actual video, check it out! One additional nice feature is that Even Tide can be reached via the boardwalk, so if you have a tough time parking (which we didn't) you can park anywhere else along the boardwalk and enjoy a pleasant stroll over. Definitely plan for a sunset dinner here if you're looking for a nice endcap to your day. Overall: 5.0 stars ---- Pros: - Fantastic food and drinks, the pretzel was especially delicious. - Nice and quick service. - An outstanding view I still think about sometimes. - Convenient spot to park at or walk to on the boardwalk. I actually really like that you order at the counter and seat yourself. Your food is paid for upfront, so when you're finished, you can simply leave without waiting around for a check. It makes the whole experience feel very relaxed and easy. We tried the Riesling wine selection, and it was delicious. I ordered the Italian sandwich, and my fiancé got the pretzel. Both were really good. Between the delicious food and wine, relaxed atmosphere, and incredible views, we truly got to sit back and savor the experience.
