This place is ehhh...high prices for coffee- $8!! They DONT put the coffee or tea prices on the menu which is annoying and pretty deceiving. Also only one size for coffee. The coffee was flavorful and sugary but wish prices were listed especially when the beer and wine prices/sizes are clearly written on the menu. Not a place for a large crowd - very limited seating inside (it was raining when we visited). Also only one tv inside, so don't go if you are planning to watch sports. read more

Fun location for wine! We missed the tasting but were able to enjoy bottles of wine on the deck. For a group of us, splitting a bottle was a better deal than getting individual glasses and we enjoyed the selection of pre-chilled white and rose. Quick service even though only one person working. They don't tell you and their menu don't have prices except for wine, so they charge you what they want, should have asked yes but we went to this establishment for several years, 2023 100% increase in prices! This is a great coffee shop and bar with a fantastic selection of beer in bottles--what's not to like. If you've been to Duck before you know to expect to pay a lot for things that really aren't that great. This bucks the trend. The coffee is good, the beer on tap is good (and has local representation), and the bottle selection is really impressive if a bit pricier than you'd might like. You're not going to come here to buy beer for a party of 20, but if you're looking for a few interesting and special bottles to share with close friends, it's perfect. I'm a self described beer snob and I still found some things that I'd never seen before and was excited to try. My only complaint is that I came here to set up and work for a bit, but the wifi went out a bit into being there. It's not really their fault though. My favorite place to buy coffee in Duck (until Treehouse opened). Spacious, friendly, good coffee, free wifi and a nice deck to relax on. I like this over Duck cottage because it has everything the cottage does not (previous sentence) plus beer! It is a very nice place to relax in Duck with a beverage of choice. Only complaint is the beer cans/bottles is ridiculously expensive. In many other places selling microbrews you would certainly buy a 6 pack or two to take home and try, but at Sweet T's you could easily spend $25 on a very basic microbrew 6 pack. It is stupidly expensive even with the 6 pack discount. I think they'd do better to focus on 6 packs, instead of singles. Have some singles around, but price based on the pack. Draft prices are what you'd expect and the wine selection is nice. read more

If I'm in Duck. It's a guarantee I'm stopping at Sweet T's. This is a really cool place. In the mornings, it's cute and it's quiet. Perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and a bagel. They have a lot of options for drinks and a variety of pastries for breakfast. My favorite drink to order here is an Iced Chai Latte. At night Sweet T's transforms into a relaxing oasis. They often have live music or wine tastings. There is a large variety of wine and beer. You can build your own 6-pack to-go of craft beers. It isn't very big inside but it has a lot of outdoor seating. A must stop in Duck! read more

This is an absolutely adorable place that you must visit if you are in Duck Inside the quaint little building there are shelves along the sides that are full of selections of different beers from various craft breweries. There are quite a few of them on top as well. I was there in the evening so I partook of beers, but also noticed that they serve coffee in the mornings. So whatever time of day you choose to go here, you will not be disappointed. The location was great, it was walking distance from the place I rented. It also is across the street from the Duck boardwalk. Definitely a place you should stop in, especially if you want to check out some craft brews to purchase to take home, or some to try on tap. read more

Well I called to check on their hours because I understand that they are usually open at night. The hours on Yelp say that they close at 6 PM. I asked about their menu and receive some valuable information. When I suggested that they might want to change their hours on yelp they said well that was probably from last year. Totally worth checking out if you're staying in or around Duck, NC. This is my parent's favorite place to come and have a drink and relax at. They usually come on days where this guy, Joel plays live music. Stacey will sometimes join in with her violin which is pretty cool too. The places is not very big inside but its full with lots of interesting brews and wines as well as some pretty cool candy and snacks. Yes, I said candy and snacks.... and I'm not even a sweets guy. I originally went here because Tree House was closed, so my expectations weren't that high. However, it's a really cool beer/wine shop. I went in the fall and they had a whole fall inspired beer section. They also had a nice selection of wines. I got a cafe au lait with Irish cream and espresso. It was pretty good. My friends got an iced latte which was basically cold milk and a cappuccino which was very weak. The coffee wasn't spectacular especially for the price ($5), but I'm still giving it high ratings for its beer and wine. read more

We were passing through Duck on the way to a Jeep tour and stopped here for a snack. Is this the perfect cafe? It might be. They nail the stuff that they should - there are numerous coffee and tea choices, in every flavor, size and combination that you could imagine. They have wine and smoothies too! But then they start getting even crazier. There is a pastry case with enormous and delicious looking things. We got a stuffed ham & cheese pretzel that was terrific. They had specially made trays full of canapes that they were bringing to people sitting out on the patio. The pièce de résistance was the (as we called it) Awesome Fridge. It was like one giant sexy picnic. It had shelf after shelf of the most delicious looking meats and cheeses that you could imagine. I wanted to put the entire case in the back of our rented Chevy Malibu and just go to town. This pushes the boundaries of a coffee house and I wish we had one in New York. read more

If you go here for the alcohol maybe its ok, but for coffee our experience was sub-optimal. This one is on management for having only two people working. One person was a beer slinger who couldn't make coffee, and the second was brand new at coffee. Needless to say, the coffee, service, and overall experience was really poor.
