Sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit

Service was nice and very welcoming. For the food however it's overpriced slightly, I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and only ate the eggs everything else just tasted off.

BLUF: Strong coffee, breakfast and lunch. Sea Level Coffee and Kitchen is new to Nags Head and serving coffee, breakfast and lunch daily. The coffee is strong and serious which as a black coffee drinker I appreciate. They have all sorts of fancy coffee drinks but so far I have only tried to black iced coffee and coffee on nitro. Frankly, unless it's hot black coffee, I don't see my venturing too far from these staples when it comes to coffee. On my inaugural visit I tried the Crispy Honey Dipped Chicken Sandwich aka fried chicken on a biscuit. Um, yes, yes, please. To make it even better and messier I added a scrambled egg although you can also get your egg poached. As it was, I was up to my elbows in this messy sandwich - no complaints. It was excellent. I figured I would start my way at the top of the menu and work my way down. Sea Level has seating both inside and outside. On a pleasant summer morning my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the constant shuffle of cars coming and going. This place is already popular! Sea Level has some good merch too including tees and hoodies with the store name and "Nags Head." Thank you Sea Level for making merch that doesn't say Outer Banks. I'll be back soon for more coffee, another breakfast sandwich and merch.

Friendly service and yummy breakfast food! This new spot didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the biscuits and stopped in twice during our OBX trip. Definitely give them a try!

This is the Chai with the good ice. It's the best. That's all.

Do yourself a favor -- check out their coffee and tea drinks AND food. You can't go wrong. That's all.

We had the bananas foster latte - iced with oat milk, the honey dipped chicken biscuit w/egg, a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and a breakfast burrito. The staff was lovely but we didn't love the biscuits - they fell apart. I thought the burrito was way overpriced - yummy but expensive.

Delicious breakfast on our way out of town. Scratch-made food was soooo good. Coffee was spot on and nice & strong. Even bought a cute hat! I would highly recommend a visit.

Very pleased with my lunch here. Coffee was serious business, you can tell they don't play about the quality of the coffee itself as well as the milk and syrups going in them. Loveddddd the sesame noodle bowl. Will be back

Egg and Cheese Biscuit (add tomato and avocado)

Very, very good! This was our first time having Sea Level and we will definitely be back. We got breakfast to go. We got the sausage biscuit, egg and cheese biscuit (added tomato and avocado), hangover hash (took off egg and added avocado), sweet potato hash, and egg and cheese biscuit (added bacon). The biscuits are so soft yet crispy, sweet and buttery, and are the perfect base for toppings. The eggs were fluffy and soft. The sausage and bacon were both flavorful and well cooked. The hangover hash was tasty, flavorful, and very fresh. The sweet potato hash was packed with flavor. It had the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, herby and a touch of spice. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast and lunch spot in Nags Head! Even though we got it to go, the short time spent inside the restaurant allowed us to enjoy the clean, calm vibe. Lastly, the people there were kind and welcoming.

We enjoyed our quick breakfast at Sea Level. You place your order at the counter and can eat inside or outside on the porch. We got the iced Paradise latte and Hangover hash. The potatoes were crispy and the dish was seasoned well. I really liked the taste of their espresso and the sweetness level of the latte. Service was fast, the people working were friendly, and we loved having breakfast on the porch!

The online ordering system isn't great (see below), however, I eventually found what I was looking for and called to adjust the pick up time. Since the large wasn't available, I chose regular for one bowl and mega for the other. I also paid for extra granola for both. Although the toppings look skimpy, we were pleasantly surprised to find the extra granola at the bottom of the regular bowl. Then the mega bowl was basically a double decker acai bowl. Acai on the bottom with selected toppings then more acai resting under another layer of the selected toppings. It's definitely worth it to get the mega bowl. They also make good smoothies and use compostable materials. Our orders have been accurate and filling. Plus the employees are friendly. Issues with the online ordering: -I couldn't adjust the pick-up time. Even though they were open for another 5 hours, the only option for pick up was next day at 9:30 am. I called after placing the order and they said they could make the order right away. -large perfect bowl is not an option (all other sizes were available) -special bowl options are confusing. No option for granola but there is an option for extra granola. No description for what it contains yet you can remove items. -many of the items do not have descriptions, luckily I had been here before so I knew what the perfect bowl entailed

It can transform an ordinary drink into something special. It makes the magic of coffee last throughout the entire day. I was immediately welcomed when I walked into the Outer Bean. Initially, I was bummed because cortados were not on the menu. I asked the barista if she would try to make one. She said sure. I gave her general directions and she walked to the espresso machine. A couple of minutes later she handed me a cup with two shots of espresso and a stainless steel pitcher with steamed milk. The barista said, "Why don't you add the milk in so you get it just the way you want." I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. I thanked her and made my cortado. We chatted a bit. It turned out she is Thai and my husband is Thai; and I love to talk about Thailand. I took a few pictures. We exchanged goodbyes and I exited the cafe with a genuine smile and a very positive impression of the Outer Bean. Smiles are free and they can elevate and/or improve any situation. Plus, folks always look better when they smile. I hope you make this world a better place by sharing your smile with someone today. Thank you to the barista at Outer Bean who shared her smile and made my day brighter. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

I had the blackened mahi-mahi BLT sandwich which was perfectly cooked and served with over a pound of french fries. Not going to lie; the fries were fantastic. Nicely seasoned and not greasy. I ended up eating the mahi open-faced to avoid spilling on myself but the fish, tomato slice and lettuce were all delicious. It also came with a crisp pickle spear. My wife got the ceasar salad and added a skewer of blackened shrimp. The shrimp were tasty but could have stood a little more spice. They have a nice wine selection including a good selection available by the glass. Also a nice beer selection with some local/NC beers on tap. I observed all of the staff being very friendly and helpful to patrons throughout the restaurant. I will definitely be back and looking forward to trying it for dinner.
