I went in just for coffee. The guy that goes the place helped me and I ended up not getting what I really wanted because he suggested something else. I went outside and added some stuff I had in the car to it and I ended up throwing the coffee away and going somewhere else. It was so dark and bitter. I don't want to give it super low stars because it could've just been me and other people like it. It's a nice place.

BLUF: Strong coffee, breakfast and lunch. Sea Level Coffee and Kitchen is new to Nags Head and serving coffee, breakfast and lunch daily. The coffee is strong and serious which as a black coffee drinker I appreciate. They have all sorts of fancy coffee drinks but so far I have only tried to black iced coffee and coffee on nitro. Frankly, unless it's hot black coffee, I don't see my venturing too far from these staples when it comes to coffee. On my inaugural visit I tried the Crispy Honey Dipped Chicken Sandwich aka fried chicken on a biscuit. Um, yes, yes, please. To make it even better and messier I added a scrambled egg although you can also get your egg poached. As it was, I was up to my elbows in this messy sandwich - no complaints. It was excellent. I figured I would start my way at the top of the menu and work my way down. Sea Level has seating both inside and outside. On a pleasant summer morning my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the constant shuffle of cars coming and going. This place is already popular! Sea Level has some good merch too including tees and hoodies with the store name and "Nags Head." Thank you Sea Level for making merch that doesn't say Outer Banks. I'll be back soon for more coffee, another breakfast sandwich and merch.

Friendly service and yummy breakfast food! This new spot didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the biscuits and stopped in twice during our OBX trip. Definitely give them a try!

Service was nice and very welcoming. For the food however it's overpriced slightly, I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and only ate the eggs everything else just tasted off.

First time in OBX and first time at Sea Level and I will be back!! Immediately greeted by the friendly staff and was served one of the BEST breakfast burritos and iced lattes I've ever had! Don't miss this place!! Such a cute building, happy 1 year Sea Level! Highly recommend the Basic Beach Burrito and Iced Vanilla Latte

This is the Chai with the good ice. It's the best. That's all.

Do yourself a favor -- check out their coffee and tea drinks AND food. You can't go wrong. That's all.

We had the bananas foster latte - iced with oat milk, the honey dipped chicken biscuit w/egg, a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and a breakfast burrito. The staff was lovely but we didn't love the biscuits - they fell apart. I thought the burrito was way overpriced - yummy but expensive.

Everything we ordered was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. There is ample seating in the outdoor patio as well as around the store on the "sidewalk". We took advantage of a nook outside of the market area, which was nicely shaded with tables and chairs. There was also a lot of comfy seating inside with a couple of nooks furnished with chairs and couches for families to sit in. Past the cafe is a market area with merchandise and wine. It can transform an ordinary drink into something special. It makes the magic of coffee last throughout the entire day. I was immediately welcomed when I walked into the Outer Bean. Initially, I was bummed because cortados were not on the menu. I asked the barista if she would try to make one. She said sure. I gave her general directions and she walked to the espresso machine. A couple of minutes later she handed me a cup with two shots of espresso and a stainless steel pitcher with steamed milk. The barista said, "Why don't you add the milk in so you get it just the way you want." I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. I thanked her and made my cortado. We chatted a bit. It turned out she is Thai and my husband is Thai; and I love to talk about Thailand. I took a few pictures. We exchanged goodbyes and I exited the cafe with a genuine smile and a very positive impression of the Outer Bean. Smiles are free and they can elevate and/or improve any situation. Plus, folks always look better when they smile. I hope you make this world a better place by sharing your smile with someone today. Thank you to the barista at Outer Bean who shared her smile and made my day brighter. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

It got the job done as I enjoy one cup a day and was a bit behind schedule. The place is small, but perfect for a coffee shop where take out is mostly occurring.

After one visit, I completely understood why he kept coming back! The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach atmosphere. The bright, colorful décor immediately puts you in vacation mode and creates a fun, welcoming environment. My son ordered the mussels and the salmon. The mussels were the standout of the meal--steamed perfectly and served in a rich, garlicky white wine broth that was so good you could easily soak it up with bread until the bowl was empty. The salmon was beautifully prepared, looked fantastic, and judging by the empty plate, he thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I played it a little safer and ordered the fish and chips, and I have zero regrets. The fish was perfectly fried with a crispy, golden coating while staying flaky and tender inside. It was seasoned well and full of flavor. And as someone who can never resist great fries, these definitely hit the mark--hot, crispy, and the perfect complement to the fish. Between the delicious food, relaxed beach vibes, and friendly atmosphere, Noosa Grill made for a very enjoyable dining experience. It's easy to see why it's become a favorite among both locals and seasonal visitors. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the OBX!
