Lively atmosphere, great combination of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. The tasting menu wasn't necessarily a fusion of flavors, more a sequence of Japanese (sushi for starters) and Mexican (tacos as main) dishes. The restaurant is located conveniently, is sizeable and decorated nicely - though the acoustics are on the louder end of the spectrum. Every dish was tasty, and prices are democratic for what you get. Being dubbed a tequila/mezcal (cocktail) bar as well, do be aware of the price per unit of exotic liquor you're ordering. Some of them come in at a very (too?) high price point. The servers were aplenty, very kind, and swift to respond to any questions or asks.

Simply incredible! Make this Asian/Mexican fusion restaurant a priority next time you're in the London Financial District. Some of the best sushi I've ever tasted!

Yummy but teeny tiny. The close up pictures are misleading. I wish I taken some with a size comparison like a credit card. Most dishes are smaller than a credit card. 20+ GBP for any menu item is quite literally a bit or 2. To feel reasonably full one would be forced to spend 150+ GBP. Everything else is pretty good. Beautiful colorful Mexican decor, innovative fusion menu, service is all top notch. My pick of the food is the salmon sashimi. The Japanese food is better than the Mexican. The tacos were ordinary. But, it's definitely high on hipness quotient. A place to see and be seen in - IF budget allows!

But ambience and just total cuteness of the place drew us in. Very modern with nice soft Jazz music playing in rhe background. The place was packed on a Tuesday so we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. The bartenders were very knowledgeable on the selection of while and even allowed me to taste a view before choosing one. We then moved to a table that had opened up. We had the guacamole and a prawn starter first. The guacamole was nice although I'm not a fan of the toastadas that came with it. To hard for my taste and at first it only cma e with three huge round ones. Of course we needed more and they did bring it but it's odd that they wouldn't just bring It in the first place considering the amount of guac. The spicy prawn starter was delicious bur quite spicy for me. Then we tried the lamb taco and the fish tacos. Came with 2 in each. amazing tacos! Very flavorful and quite filling. Especially the lamb. My favourite part of the meal was the tuna tapas. I can't remember tge name but Omg they were sooo good! I think there was a truffle flavor but not overwhelming. Honestly a must try. Very nice place and affordable. Would return.

Because the waiter acted so confused when my friend who was there before me wants a drink before I arrived. His movement was so slow i thought he's giving us attitude but I didn't want to raise it cus maybe that's how he operates. he stood there and wait for us to move the utensils away so he can pick up our plate is a bit weird but when he give us a long eye shut when we ask for new utensils, that's when I know he's really giving us sass. I know I sound mean but tbf I don't mind helping the wait staff out but if you just stand there and expect me to arrange the table, you would be a little surprised too, right? Tell me I'm not crazy. The food was alright. Tuna Tostada was almost £10 and it was so small you can barely taste it before you even finish the whole thing. Cochinita pibil (taco) - meat portion was relatively big but each dish only get two tacos so it barely fill me up. Steak taco - steaks are dry but the cheese on top added points to it Carnitas taco - alright. Can't go wrong really. Anyway, I'd really enjoy it if the staff wasn't rude because the outdoor seating with the sun always keeps me in a good mood but it's a shame that the wait staff was not giving.

Fish and Chips (what, is that Mexican? or Texan? nope just generic) - tick. It's a massive space as well, and when we were there, there were only 4 other tables. Which made it feel like one of those towns on the Mexican border, where tumbleweeds are blowing and the townsfolk are hiding behind swinging doors. Them ones. Yup, just really average, and really boring. Didn't like this brand of tequila 'n' Tex 'n' Mex very much.

I fully intended to come back for dinner, but everything on the menu sounded good and I had skipped lunch. I opted for a burrito to take back to the hotel with me. When I got back to my room and opened up the bag, I couldn't believe how big the burrito was! Wow. As for the flavor? It wasn't bad, but it wasn't quite Mexican food. It's kind of a fusion .. of what, I'm not sure. Regardless, it was a good burrito, the salsa was okay - not great. Chips were disappointing (store bought). I know I'm spoiled being from Southern California, I'm used to getting freshly made chips at most restaurants. I'd definitely eat here again. Expectations have been appropriately managed.

If he thought this place was good, then maybe it was worth a shot. Yes, this is the best Mexican food in London. It's actually great! We started with the best thing ever, queso fundido. It's basically melted cheese in a dish. It's a really good idea. And if it weren't enough, they can put pulled pork on top! An even better idea. It's absolutely delicious. I can't even describe how melty and salty and delicious it is. You don't even need tortillas. Next the tacos. I went for Al Pastor (the manager claimed they were the best in London; he's probably right). They're small, but you get a plate of 3. I'd love to go back with a big group to try a bunch of different varieties. I'd never had lamb, but they do a cool dish that is the Mexican equivalent of a lamb stew. It was tender with a flavourful sauce -- and their big dish was easy to share with two people. The menu is gigantic, with tons of dishes to choose from. They do a tasting menu on Sundays, and once a month you can go to a Wednesday dinner with a special chef and menu of "posh" dishes inspired by Mexican flavours. I hear they have salsa on Fridays but haven't been. Definitely book ahead of time if you're going to be there during the weekend. Gluten free notes: Most Mexican food is naturally gluten-free except for flour tortillas. Make sure you get corn tortillas instead, and make sure they're 100% corn (masa harina) with no (wheat) flour.

He appreciates constructive criticism and changes the menu ac coring to what people want. It's a great place, and highly recommended.
