SO TASTY ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Fajitas were sizzling. Vibes were off the charts. Everyone wanted water until I got strawberry lemonade and then everyone got strawberry lemonade. Also saw the eclipse here. Monumental.

When walking into Los Hermanos, you are warmly welcomed and taken in by the highly visual decor. You are transported to another place with the windows, arches, tables, plants. If you have a large group, there is an impressive and massive round table just waiting to host a party. Looks continue further when the food comes out everything looks fantastic and overflowing, but there is a lack of flavor in these dishes. It looked so good that it heightened my disappointment. Now my son and mother both enjoyed their dishes and I did enjoy the berry drink. We had the. Nachos and a chimichanga with pork chili verde, both had meat that was tender but flavor that underwhelmed. For warmth, incredible decor, and kind service it is 5 stars, but for the food, I am afraid it is 3 stars.

I went here years ago with my family and we got a couple of large nachos plates to share. It was delicious and I remembered thinking I would definitely come back. It took me like 5 years but I did make it back and I ordered the large plate of nachos from my memory without even looking at the menu. It was as big as I remember but no where as yummy. I would rate the nachos I ate tonight a 3/10. Which is a huge bummer. The staff however were so kind and attentive. The vibe of the place is also darling! I love that they can accommodate such large groups!! We also didn't have to wait to be seated and the food came out super fast!

Taste like any other sit down Mexican restaurant. The service was average. Ambiance below average. The food taste fine though

Nothing about the meal was good. Everything was overly greasy and no taste. Has gone down over the years. Service was great though.

My waiter only barely spoke English but we could figure it out. The chips & salsa they set down was a mixed result. The chips were terrific. The salsa was a small kind of watery bowl that tasted much more sour than usual. It was okay. Just not as good as the chips. I ordered the Taconazo after ascertaining that it was a variant on carne asada. I asked if it came with tortillas. Si. It came pretty fast and he pointed to a station to one side of the dining area and said, "Salsas!" Sadly the salsa cups were tiny. I could barely fit any pickled onions inside. There were also some big jugs of various agua frescas there, nestled in ice. The "Taconazo" consisted of LOTS of onions, peppers, cheese, crispy bacon(!), cactus, and strips of steak. I liked it quite a bit. There was a bit of trouble at the end. My food was 15.99 but my bill was $21. So I asked for a itemized bill (tips weren't included). Turned out they'd charged me $2.99 for a fountain drink, but I'd only had water. I showed them the error. Rather than change the bill, they just handed me $3 in bills so that worked. (Yes I tipped.) Anyway good food with only minor glitches, and I'll be trying it again.

This applies to both Provo locations (238 W 100 S & 227 Cougar Blvd) where I have ordered almost…read moreall menu items, but mostly Tacos and Tortas. I have eaten at these locations (though mostly at the 100 S location) for YEARS. In all those years I have NEVER had a bad bite of food! I grew up in Southern California, so my standard for tacos and Mexican food is informed by the food that the first or second generation mothers of my Latino friends served me at their tables. The carnitas is ALWAYS succulent and never dry. The carne asada (while not necessarily the "best" I've ever had) is as good as any around here. But...if you like tortas, trust me, order one here (you'll take half of it home), and you'll throw rocks at the next one you order somewhere else! The bread, everything...on point! Their chips (I don't know if they're homemade or not) are the absolute BEST I've had at ANY restaurant around here. And their salsa bar is perfection. They have this one medium heat salsa that first hits your palette with a smoky taste, and then finishes with a little bite. I frequently ask them to sell me a quart to take home when I eat here. At the 100 E location, DO NOT let the location or the outdoor dining under tents dissuade you. This place is fire! Go here!

My wife and I…read moreordered two items on the menu, the birria tacos and the loaded fries, and we got two big trays of food. The value for the price is awesome. The birria and sides were as good as other places we've gone to without the inflated prices. The only thing we were kind of meh about was the fries themselves (though all the toppings were great), but other than that, I'd say this place is solid and we definitely plan on coming back! Added bonus: They really put a lot of care into the decor. Their hanging flowers were cool to sit under.
