Pretty bad food with a pretty big price tag. Food is gross, disgusting even. My first time spitting out food back into the plate kind of bad. Rice, beans and consommé all warranted an immediate spit back into the container- no swallow to be had. Rice was bland and burnt at the same time. It tasted as if it were white rice tossed into Spanish style color coating. Beans had a strange taste and were completely inedible. As far as tacos go their carne asada was only alright. For two tacos, rice, beans and consommé was incredibly over priced and tacos are only sold in plates of two or three with salsa costing extra money. With a name like Chanchitos it's very disappointing to be served such disgusting food. To call this Mexican food would be a great insult. read more

I came and ordered 3 carnitas tacos- I asked for no cilantro and she said she doesn't do modifications but it's only a pinch and I can just pick it off! Which I was totally okay with until I got my meal and this is the amount that was on it- not just a pinch! The tacos themselves are prob like a 5/10 for 18 dollars. Just my opinion! read more

PROS: was open, plenty of outdoor seating, quesadilla was good, carne asada taco was good. CONS: Birria tacos were so drenched in fat my son couldn't really eat it. They won't allow you to not have any toppings on your tacos, even if you are allergic so just know there are no modifications (ie you must have cilantro and salsa on top of everything). Expensive for what you get. read more

Really great food here. I'd really recommend stopping here. Great quality and worth the price. They are open until they sell out of fish so not all protein options are always available depending on the time you go. I recommend the blacked salmon burrito! This food is AMAZING!! We stopped here real quick to get lunch just before they closed. I was slightly worried because it was close to 2 but they were so nice and had the cutest dog. Unwilling to customize your order and hold the onions and cilantro even though these items are sprinkled on top at the end. Pretty good for a food truck in Seward. So far food has been a big disappointment. This place was worth a second visit. Only soda's to drink and mostly warm. They certainly do not pay attention to keeping the cans cold. The sign says they are open til they run out of product and that means cold drinks are not kept available. Probably no space for an extra cooler to keep back up soda's cool. But that little deal is about all that is on the negative side. Prices are the same as everywhere - high. I understand they have to get the revenue in such a short period of time that it becomes necessary to hike up the prices. Even now when grocery prices seem to be settling back down I believe vendors need to stay the course and put some away for the next crisis while the public is used to paying the higher prices. A little tip. The extra condiments such as salsa, sour cream etc., are $1.50 for barely an once. You need to buy 2 or 3 to add to the flavor of your meal. So be aware. The basic burrito is delicious. Over all a very fine dining street experience. read more

The food was to die for. We had 4 kinds of tacos: quesobirria, rockfish, halibut, and salmon. Could not decide which was best. Every bite was delicious. Everything was exceptionally great quality, flavor, and quantity. We had been craving fish, prepared and seasoned well, and this place satisfied the craving for us.
