Local fishermen considered this their go-to spot for breakfast and coffees. You order on one side then pick your food up on the other side. We ordered tea and coffee. I got the breakfast burrito and my friend got the avocado toast. Both were very filling. My friend enjoyed her breakfast. I ate on my burrito all morning. It was packed with eggs, hashbrowns, cheese, and sausage. All the good things. I would have liked a little more salsa, or maybe the option to add some sour cream or avocado, but it was great as offered. Will definitely remember this place on another trip to Seward.

They gave us a pager and we found seats. Over the next 30 minutes we saw everyone getting food but us. I finally asked the status (politely) and got a seemingly annoyed response. I was told our order was next in line. I waited another 10 minutes and saw 3 more people served (who ordered way after us). I returned to check again and got a deep sigh and rolling eyes (mind you, it's been over 40 minutes at this point). They checked with their cook and he hadn't even started it. We were headed to airport and needed to get going, so when I pressed for an ETA he grumbled it'd be 5 minutes at most. It took 11 more minutes, which put our total wait at 51 minutes from time of order. We were never offered a discount, refund, or even an apology - VERY disappointing!!! We stayed here 3 days as part of princess land package and this has been our favorite lodge so far…read more The rooms are large and feature a lovely fireplace and with the chilly overnights, it's come in handy. You also have a nice little balcony overlooking a wooded area, this is building 15. We are the farthest from the lodge though so it's about a 10 minute walk and if you walk towards the fitness center, you'll find a stairway there that will take you down to the gift shop in one more stairway. We'll get you to the main lodge. They do have an on-demand shuttle that is very quick to pick you up and take you wherever you wish to go. There are two laundry facilities, one between building four and five and the other is down by the RV park there were four washers and dryers and everything worked great same price as the other Princess lodges at seven dollars a load that includes a wash dryer and soap They do not have room service, but you do have a nice little dining table in your room if you got something to go from the main lodge Be sure to check out the rod and reel restaurant, it was one of our favorite. The back patio behind rafters bar has amazing views of the river and mountain. They do have a nice fitness facility and not all properties have them. It also has a great side deck where you could do morning yoga. This is a beautiful place to stay if you'd like to explore nature
