Shrimp Enchiladas

Great service. Friendly accommodating and prompt . I have never had a bad meal there. Most recently l had the Chjili Relleno and refried beans, l have had this dish the last two times l was there. Delicious, lightly breaded not greasy perfectly cooked and great presentation. Of all the Mexican restaurants around they make this dish the best. Always a nice adult beverage selection. Very fair prices. Kudos!

Super love this place so quaint so cute. The service was amazing. It was packed solid and they did everything correctly. I love the ambience and Reli our waitresses were incredible. They understood that I had special needs and they made it perfect and I love their sauce. definitely not a place that has spicy food, but when I asked for extra spice, they were very cordialbrought me head over right away fresh pepper sauce.

Outrageously flavorful and delicious chicken fajitas. Comes with homemade flour tortillas

My new favorite in Green Valley! Great food (homemade flour tortillas!) and ambiance. I had chicken fajitas. The best I've had in a long time. Chicken and veggies so flavorful. Husband had carne asada tacos and they were outrageous. Loved his Cadillac marga. My FIL loves the catfish Only complaint is service...took longer than I'd like to get waters and drink/meal orders...but I think it's because they were slammed. (No deduction of stars! Just patience advised)

Bistec plate

My husband and i had just finished a long hike in madera canyon and we were starving. We wanted hearty Mexican food and we found Los Agaves on google. It did not disappoint. The bistec had so much flavor and the beans reminded me of my nanas beans. The enchilada sauce is so similar to the enchilada sauce i use when i make my enchiladas so i was very happy. The service was quince and the ambiance was normal. Nothing too fancy. We liked the place more then the famous El Charro in Tucson. The food was way more authentic and less Americanized. 4/5 stars!

Taco plate with requested soft shell.

This was my third time eating at Los Agaves, and each time, the meal was flavorful. We had family visiting over Thanksgiving who wanted to eat at a local Mexican restaurant and I am glad that we decided to dine here as the food is consistent. The servers were polite and attentive. I wish their menu prices matched what is on their website. I had the Tuesday special, taco plate with all three varieties. I am also a big fan of their house margarita.

Ask the Community - Los Agaves Restaurant

Does thus restaurant have a banquet room that might accommodate 30 to 40 people?

I don't think so, but call them and ask

I am a vegan and want to join my carnivorous friends there. I didn't see that you had a vegan menu BUT I see your good a la carte menu with grilled mushrooms. Is it possible to order Mushroom Fajitas? What the price would be for that substitution?

Such a cool place! Probably just us but we had a little difficulty in finding The Owls Club but…read moreonce we did, it felt transformative to some degree. Old pews as "booth" seating and several rooms throughout the establishment. It's dark, it gives off old vibes but not in a creepy, musty way despite the place being a former mortuary. But the cocktails, oh the cocktails. These are the kind of cocktails I dream of. And the bartender completely looked like he belonged to a bygone era - cool cat vibes for sure. And he is an expert as mixology.

It feels intimate, almost cinematic. You're not walking into a bright sports bar; you're stepping into a moody, low-lit cocktail lounge built for conversation and slow evenings. The space has character: exposed wood beams, a long bar lined with bottles, soft pools of light over booths, and a relaxed, unhurried energy. It feels tucked away, which adds to the appeal. And while the lighting sets the mood, the drinks are what make it worth staying. Well-crafted, balanced, and clearly made by bartenders who take pride in their work. Strong without being sloppy. Creative without trying too hard. If you appreciate a dim, intimate setting and serious cocktails, The Owl Club delivers. It's the kind of place you settle into -- and don't rush out of.

They do offer outside seating but with the cold nights may not be ideal. The plus though is they also have heaters for the patio area. The staff were very welcoming, and the bartenders are sweet. The drinks are definitely on the unique side, but the bartender I had was very accommodating in if we didn't like it, just let her know. I can't remember the drink I had but it was pleasantly good. My friends 1st drink, wasn't it, so the bartender made a Mai tai which was much better. Overall, I loved the chill vibes, it's a good spot to either start your evening, or just have a lowkey night. I'll definitely check this out again, next visit.

The bar is small, charming, and cozy, with an inviting neighborhood feel. My friends and I grabbed seats at the bar, and the bartender was both funny and skilled, mixing up some excellent cocktails. The whole place probably seats around 30 people, including the patio, which makes it feel intimate without being cramped. I had an Old Fashioned made with WhistlePig, it was smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. I'll definitely be back, especially while the weather's still nice in Tucson.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Burk, the handsome man with a shiny head, was at the bar. He handed us a drink menu that contained fun drink names like Death of a Unicorn. The drinks tasted good and had a lovely presentation. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. You could always book a room and enjoy dreams downstairs without having to drive

Bianca the bartender is a hoot - it's clear that all the regulars who belly up to the bar enjoy her company, and may be regulars because of her. The interior is very pleasant, with big north-facing windows, dark wooden tables and chairs, and a few nicknacks scattered about. I'll probably stay at the Residence Inn again on my next visit, and stop in to this pub in the evenings as I did this time. It's a good, welcoming place.
