Located within Camarillo outlet, parking can be a hit or miss depending on how busy the outlet is. Came here at about 0930 on Saturday morning before a major sale and no wait for us but the restaurant filled up shortly. Service is okay, our server was very kind but very busy. Other servers help but seemed confused as to what was ordered but still prefer over no service. Atmosphere was slightly dim. Plenty of people. We came here on a whim and were stoked to have found a place with killer breakfast, and bottomless mimosas. The service was great, and we ordered a bunch of different items--all were fire. Went for breakfast with an elderly friend and first noticed that there's not a lot of room to walk between tables (very crammed in). We made it thru to a booth and ordered, but food took a very long time to arrive. Restaurant was only 1/2 full. No one came to refill tea or water. Food finally arrived and server said both toast orders were on the way. Breakfast was nearly done... still no toast. Also, my friend ordered hash browns but got regular potatoes. When I finally was able to get someone's attention and let them know, they said "what kind of toast?", then brought one order of toast, 5 minutes later the second order of toast arrived. We took it to go since we'd already been there over an hour & breakfast had already been eaten. No apology, no mention of the hash brown mistake. Loved this place. Went for the first time for breakfast with a friend. I ordered the 2eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pieces of ham. With that came your choice of hash browns or home potatoes plus 2 Swedish crepes! I absolutely couldn't finish all so I brought home half my breakfast for the next morning. Considering the amount of food, and how delicious it all was, this broke down to two breakfasts at $10.00 each. I will definitely be going back, perhaps to try something else next time. Oh, the place was packed, and we managed to get the last open table inside. This was a Sunday at 11:30am. Service was great and food was served reasonably quick. I had the worst eggs Benedict of my life at Loru's this past weekend. I order eggs benedict pretty often when I go out for breakfast, and never before have I seen this made with a single slice of thin lunch meat. Specifically, the cheapest ultra thin square ham with rounded edges that you mostly find at the dollar store. I don't know if this could even be called ham to be honest. Glad to have found a new Sunday morning breakfast spot in Camarillo. The menu is wide with lots of options, including for us pescatarians. We tried the veggie omelette and huevos rancheros on our first outing here. Both very good. (Though we'd like it if the egg dishes came with both potatoes and toast versus only a choice of one). We ate around 7pm and there was only a few other people in the restaurant. It does close at 8pm. We Orderer an omelet/hash browns, 1/2 sandwich and salad and a kids meal of Mac and cheese. The service was good and they were friendly. My husband said the omelet was very good. Our daughter liked the Mac and cheese( but I was very surprised to see that it was not homemade but boxed). I have never seen that in a restaurant before!! My sandwich was fine but we were surprised that it didn't come with fries too. Kind of a sparse plate. Some of the lettuce mix for the salad was old and the lettuce was brown so they covered it with a huge amount of croutons. We will go back again but not that late at night. We think the food will be fresher if you go earlier. read more

This place was awesome and had a nice feel good vibe and environment for a family. The food was also really good, they basically can accommodate anything and customize anything on the menu which is nice. My wife and I always stop by the outlets before we head home from taking clients in Oxnard county. REGI was our server and was awesome always checking if we needed anything and quick smooth service ! Last night we tried Loru's Cafe ordered take out to eat in the car. Everything was out of sight. Biscuits were so fresh soft and yummy, the gravy just had a kick when you went to swallow so good, eggs were perfect and so the potatoes, the blintzes with strawberries ho so good, and the ice tea just right lemon and no sugar. Food was not that good. My omelet was very bland yet very greasy, it was a veggie and egg white omelet. Didn't have flavor at all, I had to use salt at the table which I NEVER do. Maybe it was meant to be low sodium? I'm not sure. The pancakes were hard like the outside of them was hard like when you dont use enough grease on the griddle and they get weird and hard. It was quite busy but we were still seated very quickly. Service was good. Everyone kept asking if everything was OK. The food was lacking in flavor and for the price it wasn't a good thing. The people sitting at the table next to us were not impressed either. The wife left her salad and kept eating her husband's salad instead. They left a lot of food on their plates when they left. We decide to stop at this establishment on our way to Solvang. My wife got the spinach tomato omelet with pancakes and I choose the green Chile huevos rancheros. We also got hot and cold coffee with our meals. As soon as we had our first bite we both noticed the food was very bland and did not have any flavor. My wife's pancakes also were very bland and they didn't even offer pancake syrup. My ice coffee also did not taste good, it tasted like it was a hint of coffee with extra creamer. The reviews On yelp give this establishment 4 star out of 5 I don't understand how, I do not Recomended eating at this place. You will be disappoint spending your money here. And they also had a bit of a bug problem, during our meal we had to be swatting little flys away from our food and faces. read more

My husband said his brunch burger was pretty bland and missing some seasoning. The french toast was delicious. And the orange juice was too die for! We generally avoid the outlets on weekends but decided to try Lorus out on a Wednesday night. We were seated immediately and ordered tacos and a burger. Both dishes were pretty good, and portions are generous however their seasoned fries are stellar. They have a small but fair selection of bottled beers. I tried this place last weekend for brunch, and it didn't disappoint. They have bottomless mimosas, the service is great and staff is very friendly . I had the chicken and waffles with fried chicken and it was very good. They were launching Menudo that weekend, but it wasn't the best. They also have a holiday menu with smaller plates.
